Chicken fried rice

The food was very good. Big menu too choose from. The host was very friendly and helpful. It's not a very big place but it was nice and cozy to eat there but would also be good to take home. Definitely will be back.

This is my favorite Chinese spot in Denver. It is auuhhhmmmaaazzziiinngg. I get the Mongolian beef with no green onions! Staff is nice and never get my order wrong! Big portions!

Ordered here for the first time. By the time I arrived home, the chow fun noodles had conform to the to go box, which I don't like when that happens to my noodles. We've had some flavor, the noodles was OK. I will try something else next time.

So glad I finally found a Chinese spot I feel is worth it! I doordashed from here on two different occasions, actually 3 lol. I ordered the chow mein and chicken wings twice. I recently ordered the Pad Thai and cheese wontons. The portion size, believe the reviews. The portion size is big and it takes me a few days to finish it. That's how big the portions are. The quick service is amazing too, I never have to wait too long and when the food reaches my house it's still steaming and that's how I like my food. I ordered dessert from here twice, and I would pass on the $7 small slice of cake. Not worth the price. However everything is definitely worth it. I do wonder when restaurants stopped putting crab in cheese wontons. I know it says Cheese Wontons, but the crab is what definitely makes them. These cheese wontons were a little sweet but they were still good. The fried chicken wings I hoped to be better. They're not as spicy as I'd like them to be. I feel like Thai spicy means, borderline death lol jk I just expect it to be really spicy. I loved the chow mein. Reminds me of my favorite spot back home. I also loved the pad Thai, I just wish their was a spice level. Lol. Definitely going to be a regular! Chow Mein Chicken Wings Pad Thai Cheese Wontons Cheesecake Chocolate Cake

Everything is really good, fresh and cooked in the moment and big portions‼ definitely recommend coming here

Awesome vegan options. Delicious and flavorful! Order at least once a month or more. Great customer service. They noticed most of our order was vegan. And they were concerned about the fried rice. Had egg in it. But that was for my wife which is not vegan thry said she was willing to make a new one vegan. But was not necessary. Overall amazing. Spicy edamame is the best I've had.

The food is absolutely incredible! The portions are generous and the value for money is outstanding. I have a particular fondness for their Orange chicken and sesame chicken. Without a doubt, I would give them a perfect 5-star rating in every aspect!

They said they had gluten free options and everything they listed as gluten free was absolutely NOT. Celiacs beware!

Food was okay. No mention of the delivery until I called back after delivery. Make that clear and don't hide it.

The Wor Wonton is a must. Flavorful filling soup. I wish I could find Big Panda and the Wor Wonton Souo in VA.

Just not good, but maybe my standards are too high. The preparation was hap hazard and the noodles were old and tasted of weevil.

If you like corn starch and salt, this is your go-to place. Pretty gross, but at least we didn't get food poisoning.

You know a place is good when we come twice in a row during vacation!…read more We were in CO for the Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club specialty and I was craving Thai food. As I hail from CA, we have plenty of authentic Thai restaurants to choose from. As such, I was looking for a small, authentic Thai place near Brighton, where the show was being held. Ponsawan came recommended, and I was immediately drawn to this place especially with its namesake. Some of the best Thai places I've been to have "difficult"-sounding names. It was dinner the first time we went, and we were seated quickly. Our server was friendly, and gave us time to peruse the menu. I went with the pineapple fried rice while my husband went with the pork pad Thai. The pineapple fried rice had a lovely wok hei and there were plenty of fresh pineapples as well. I loved the cashews on the side, and the crispy cucumbers. Portion size was perfect. My husband's pad Thai was saucy and tamarind-y. Personally, I prefer a drier pad Thai, but he enjoyed this, I think mainly because of how strong the tamarind flavor was. Our server asked if we wanted to try the mango sticky rice since she said it was mango season, but we politely declined. The next day, we were both craving Ponsawan again, so we came for a late lunch. The owner recognized us and welcomed us back in. This time, we also got drinks and an app. I went with the Thai tea and my husband went with the Thai coffee. Both were not too sweet and a good strength. The app we chose was the dumplings, which were fried to perfection and came with the most delicious dipping sauce. As far as our entrees, I went with the pork pad kee mao and my husband went with the yellow curry fried rice. Our server apparently heard his order incorrectly and gave him the pineapple fried rice, but apologized and was quick to rectify the situation. As such, I received my food first, and had to wait a few more minutes before we could eat together. The pad kee mao had the perfect amount of spice, and the pork was tender. The yellow curry fried rice again had a lovely wok hei and the curry powder was delightfully pungent. Both times we dined, our food didn't take long to arrive at all. I'd say less than 15 minutes for both of our dishes. They had lunch specials, but for the price point of the entrees, it was a no brainer to just order entrees. The food was super affordable and the portion sizes were not skimpy at all. Not huge, but definitely not skimpy. Ponsawan is easily on my favorites list for the Denver area and we will most certainly be back the next time we go to CO! (I will also need to try their curries, so that is a high priority for our next visit.)

Bangkok Avenue delivered a large take-out order for five people last nite that was, from start to…read morefinish, deeply forgettable. The common thread across every dish was not inconsistency but uniform blandness. What arrived on our table lacked taste, energy, and intention, as if the kitchen was simply executing recipes without engagement or care. The moo ping should have been a highlight sweet, smoky, caramelized, and alive with char. Instead, it arrived hollow and lifeless, missing the marinade and fire that define the dish. There was no depth, no fragrance, no sense that the cook believed in what was being served. The accompanying rice was merely filler, and an additional order of Thai fried rice continued the same pattern: edible, but flat, dull, and entirely uninspired. My wife's gluten-free Pad Thai with tofu, a dish built on balance and brightness, was especially disappointing. It lacked acidity, sweetness, umami, and spice every note that gives Pad Thai its character. The noodles felt seasoned out of obligation rather than intention. It was food that offered no pleasure and no reason to return to it, ultimately left unfinished out of sheer indifference. This experience was not about spice tolerance, dietary restriction, or personal preference. Five people ordered widely, and the conclusion was unanimous: nothing stood out, nothing lingered, nothing satisfied. When every plate is this muted, it signals more than an off night it suggests a chef cooking without inspiration, without curiosity, and without soul. Thai cuisine is bold by nature. Having eaten throughout Thailand, we know that even the most modest street stall delivers food with clarity, confidence, and heart. What was served here bore little resemblance to that tradition. Last night (contrary to other nights and lunches in the past) , Bangkok Avenue did not simply miss the mark it stripped Thai food of the very element that makes it special: taste. Cravings absolutely satisfied…read more We were in CO for the Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club specialty and I cannot go anywhere without having some sort of Asian food. That evening, I was craving pho. Pho 92 came recommended and I was immediately drawn to the clear broth in the photos while researching Yelp for Vietnamese food. It was a Thursday evening when we arrived at Pho 92, and the restaurant was packed. It was loud, with staff bustling about and patrons enjoying their meals. The aroma of the pho broth was just as I had hoped for a busy restaurant. We waited approximately 10 min for a table. The staff were pretty efficient and looked to have a good system going for bussing tables. Hailing from CA, I am no stranger to good pho, and this place hit the spot. I'm so glad I decided to get the regular instead of the large, because wow those portion sizes were indeed huge. My husband made the "mistake" of ordering the combination vermicelli bowl, and it came packed with tender proteins and crispy egg rolls. That just meant for some delicious leftovers (that actually reheated perfectly). The pho broth was as clear as I had imagined from looking at other patrons' photos. It still had a good depth of flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had been a long travel day for us, so I didn't want oily soup. (Sometimes I do enjoy rich, oilier pho broth, but not that night.) The pho came with a plethora of herbs, which I of course used all of. Be warned that their chili oil is very spicy, which I accidentally put too much of without first trying (oops). I generally don't go to the same spot twice during a trip, as I enjoy trying out different local businesses, but Pho 92 would have been a spot I'd return to again if we had had the time and if I had wanted pho again. Their menu is huge, so there are plenty of dishes to choose from to satisfy your cravings, whatever those might be for any given day. We will definitely be back the next time we visit CO!
