Authentic nam tok noodle soup with delicious broth & great portion. Only comment on my end was it is pretty oily and I gave feedback to the owner directly. So, I can tell them to put less oil or add oily toppings to the side for next time. He adjusted it per client requested. Quick craving for pad thai and this was close to home for take out. Small parking lot tied with a laundromat and a thai grocery store. The interior was small with a few table, nothing to rave about. They had my ordered ready as I walked in. The pad thai took care of the craving, but it was a bit wetter than expected. Flavor was okay, the spice level of 3 didn't really give me a kick, but that's okay since I'm not supposed to eat any spicy. Mango and sticky rice dessert was not good, the mango was brown and the dessert was drowned in a very unappetizing "sauce." Fine, I thought--the place is completely lacking in anything resembling ambiance (think "Mall Food Court", except without any people). Got to my hotel room about 10 minutes later, and found NO SHRIMP whatsoever. Ordered some food off Uber Eats because I was really looking forward to some noodles. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu. Sweetness and saltiness were okay. The noodles felt a little dry and could have had a better chewy consistency. Other than that, the dish felt kind of gritty. My other noodle dish was the Nam Tok Noodle soup. The pork meat balls and sliced meat were good and tender. The pork rind was also a good crunch in the dish. I ordered medium spicy and it definitely was medium and kind of spicy (I'm a mild/medium gal). One thing I didn't like about this dish was that it tasted a little bit like instant ramen broth. Overall, I probably wouldn't order here again if I was looking for some noodles. read more

Got take out from here and I thought it was good, but quite average. I got the pad kee Mao with tofu spicy. The noodles were cooked well, but perhaps a tad overcooked and mushy. The tofu was normal tofu you could buy at the grocery store fried, although typically in this dish they use the deep fried spongy tofu which holds more flavor, so that was a bummer. The spice level had a punch and was perfect for me so I was happy about that! It's not classic Thai spicy, more of a classic Thai medium spice which is what I wanted. Overall, I don't have major complaints about my food however I don't feel as if it was executed perfectly although it's a classic Thai dish, which was slightly disappointing. read more

S9T has been under new ownership since 2020. Location: near University Hospital (UCH) parking can be busy due to Krung Thai Grocery next door. I've been here couple times now for takeout and the dine-in seems fairly busy which is a good thing. Takeout container is made from 100% recycled paperboard. It's less toxic than styrofoam most places use. The rice portion is good and the flavor is not too spicy (medium). Owner lady she was friendly and recommended "Nam Tom" (noodle bowl) for next time. read more

I placed a takeout order over the phone for Panang curry with chicken and Mussamun curry with tofu. My food was ready within 20 minutes and the pick-up process was very quick and easy. I especially liked that the woman who gave me my order sanitized my card both before and after swiping it. Unfortunately, once I got home, I realized I was given two orders of Panang curry instead of one Panang and one Mussamun. Luckily, the Panang curry was fantastic (perfectly spiced!) and I will most definitely happily eat two full entrees worth, but next time I will confirm my order over the phone beforehand. I was also bummed that the entire pint of Panang with chicken only had one piece of chicken in it. With the Groupon that is currently available, two entrees came to just over $12 + tip! read more

Really bad service. Friend ordered lobster fried rice - came out and was not cooked, extremely fishy smell and awful taste. She only had one bite and told the server she did not like it at all and would like a different entree instead. He brought her something different but still charged for both entrees. Spicy 9 Thai is a stellar choice in Aurora. Yes, it's in a little strip mall, sure they don't serve alcohol (please get a liquor license!) but this joint is really made for take out. Food is legit, and some of the best Thai in Denver. I ordered Masamann curry and beef salad... soooooo good. Generous proportions and quality ingredients. When I went to pick it up, the cook, asked me, "do you like beef salad?" I told her yes and she asked me to let her know how it was. It was excellent and the service even though it was take out couldn't have been nicer. I order hot, not Thai hot and it was perfect. Alright spot for Thai food. I tried their Pad See Ew and Khao Mun Kai. The Pad See Ew was a bit too sweet and I got it spicy, but there wasn't much spice at all. The Khao Mun Kai was okay-- the poached chicken came without skin and the dish is a bit skimpy on the chicken. The side broth that came with it was more on the sour side, which is different from what I am use to for this dish.
