The portion sizes were great, and the prices were very reasonable for the amount and quality of food you get. My favorite thing I ordered was the papaya salad, it was so good and definitely a must-try! The mussels were also really good, but honestly, the best part was the sauce. It was packed with flavor and had such an amazing explosion of flavors. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back again. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile because my friends love it! And it did not disappoint. Located near Peoria and Mississippi, there's plenty of parking available. The restaurant is pretty spacious and has plenty of seating, both booths and tables. The interior design is very much traditional Thai. I love all the gold, the Buddha statues, and the pictures of monks and Thai events. The main server is such a sweet Thai woman and oozing with good energy. My cousin and I ordered the papaya salad, chicken Larb with sticky rice, and the beef Thai salad. You can opt for spice levels of mild, hot, and Thai hot. They have a beautiful spice rack at each table if it isn't spicy enough for you. We loved our food! My favorite was the papaya salad and my cousin was licking his fingers by the end of our meal (can't eat sticky rice without your hands!). I have had the rangoons/wontons and tasted the drunken noodles, buuuut I love the Pad Thai (can't go wrong with shrimp, tofu, chicken, or beef). Pad see ew was not very flavorful at all, no smoky sweet complexity of flavors. It was pretty scant in meat, but personally I like that. Sadly when I ordered, I asked for mild but was given medium-hottish to the point it was too spicy to eat a full meal of it. I wound up having to eat a packet of chips hanging out in my car. I got beef spare ribs and they had a decent and pleasant flavor but were very very chewy and not that pleasant to eat. I was just in the area running errands so I probably wouldn't try this place again. Not sure if I came in on an off day or what- as they have such good reviews. But my food didn't reflect that quality. Service was nice and I didn't try asking them to re-make my entree because I had to get home quickly, so I want to give them the benefit of the doubt that they'd have fixed it if I asked and my review isn't really reflective of that. read more

On the outside, this place looks a little run down but the food is pretty good. You see a bunch of awards when you walk in so this was the place to go for Thai food back in the day. I live in Aurora and I never knew it existed. It's located in the plaza right behind the Pacific Ocean Market plaza. The papaya salad was quite good. I've had my fair share of Thai food and the food was less than average, in my opinion. Service was great. The waiter was making jokes along the way and was extremely nice. Crab Cheese Wontons. The best tasting out of everything we had. Each wonton was packed with the goods and tasted divine. Chicken Fried Rice. Decent flavor, but it lacked moisture and the chicken was too spongy. Firstly the service here is bar none. Such friendly and attentive people here!!! Hubs, mom in law and I stopped for a quick bite during Sunday afternoon errands. I ordered the large Tom Kha soup. It was creamy, sweet, salty deliciousness packed with large slices of chicken and onion. I asked for level hot and did fine with it but mom said too spicy for her. Mom n hubs has some sort of combo noodle plate with Vietnamese flair. I'm sorry I didn't get a pic when they first arrived but everything was fresh and beautiful on the plate. Here's the thing...this is a Thai place so it's different. Kind of a fusion if you will. Mom wasn't crazy about the flavors but hubs liked it and appreciated the different flavors. Never fails! Consistently good food! Guys, today I want to emphasize how good the custard and sweet sticky rice dessert is....because it is perfect in every way! The rice is sweet with a slight salty contrast, but not too sweet. The custard is light but firm, so it doesn't fall apart in your mouth. On top of all that, the rice is warm and custard cold for a wonderful temperature contrast. These are all the things I want in sweet rice & custard. It could be purple rice, but that doesn't matter a bit! As always, the staff are super nice and attentive, and the restaurant is roomy and clean. Came to Colorado to visit our friends for the weekend and we decided to try some Thai food. Stumbled upon this place on Yelp and it didn't disappoint! We got fried tofu to start and it was one of these best fried tofu I've eaten from a Thai restaurant. Tofu was thin and fried to perfection. It had a nice crunch when I took my first bite and I believe it came with a side of sweet chili sauce to dip. I'm a huge fan of boat noodles and the staff suggested I try their special that was just put on the menu with pork's blood. When I took that first sip of soup and bite of noodles, it was the best bowl of boat noodles I ever had. Flavor was spot on and it wasn't too greasy. The beef wasn't overcooked and added some chilis on the table to make each a bite a bit more spicy. I wish I had room to try their desserts. The inside of the restaurant was clean. The servers were very attentive and friendly. Plenty of parking as they share a lot with other businesses. Highly recommend this spot for Thai food in Aurora area and we'll be back when we visit again. read more

My review generally is the same! Loved the service, shout out to the guy working the front at night his chill demeanor always gets me coming back. Food is awesome hands down, especially the mango sticky rice! Portions are generous especially in today's economy. Taste is on point and leaves you feeling satisfied. Discovering a napkin in my takeout almost at the end of the meal wasn't cool though, and the somewhat sulfuric tasting chicken was definitely off putting. Maybe it's because I ordered pick up an hour before closing but still really it was nasty finding a napkin in my food, and the suspicious chicken really didn't help. Worst Thai food I have ever had. The pho was tasteless, with thick chunks of meat instead of thin slices. Pad thai had a bright red sauce, so incredibly hot it burned my mouth, and none of the usual toppings of bean sprouts, slivered carrots, etc. The chicken satay was dry, and its peanut sauce a nearly transparent red orange. I ordered Tofu Pad Si Yew, medium heat. The noodles were dry and stale, it was all stuck together so badly I was able to stick my fork in and pick up literally the entire plate of noodles like a solid square, no exaggeration. I had to work to break some pieces apart, and the noodles were so dry and chewy. It had no spice and no flavor at all, and it was ridiculously oily. I'm usually fine with a lot of oil, but this was an insane amount. The oil was literally dripping off of the noodles constantly. The tofu was over fried, the oil was dripping out when i stuck my fork into it. I chose this place since my usual place was closed, and this seemed to have good reviews. Unfortunately, this was just bad. Nothing redeemable about the food. Too oily, extremely dry and chewy, no flavor. This place is so good. The workers are amazing, quick, and so genuine. The food was out within 5-10 minutes and everything was fresh and delicious. The pad Thai and Tom kha were great and the chilis and sauces they have are all that I need at a Thai restaurant with different chilis and fish sauce. The $2 rice was a great hefty serving. No skimping out here. This place is humble yet extremely clean. I literally saw them clean under the glass table top. This place sucks for takeout, the price for what you get is not worth it. I ordered a panang curry with chicken, pad see ew with pork, and the pork fried dumplings. The curry was a small container of curry with a tiny box of rice, the pad see ew came in a styrofoam takeout container and it was barely 30% full, the dumplings are on the small side. Not to mention everything lacked flavor which is never an issue I've run into with Thai food before in my life. I will not be ordering takeout from here again. read more

Oh the drama of having a food-swing and your normal go-to place is surprisingly closed! Thankfully there's Yelp for suggestions! It was a Pad Thai food swing tonight that landed me here. Went pretty standard on chicken pad Thai, medium spice, to-go, along with the crab & cream cheese wontons. The wontons were really disappointing. There was almost nothing actually inside, and they tasted entirely just like fried wonton. The sauce that came with was really strange and not like any sauce I've tried before with crab wontons, which is normally a sweet sauce, but this tasted like ketchup and wasn't sweet at all. Curious if this was an accident or if this is the norm but not a fan of the sauce or the wontons. But...holding this at 4 stars because it was the pad Thai I was really here for. It looked pretty standard, but taste wise it was more than standard. It wasn't super greasy where there's sometimes too much sauce on it, and the medium spice was perfect for the right amount of kick and flavor. They also were great to honor my "no onions" request. Everything was packaged nicely for the to-go & no surprises when I opened it at home. The order time seemed a bit long when initially placed but ended up being ready faster.
