This place deserves higher stars. I took my son here for lunch, and loved the inside. It was so clean and a great ambiance. Our soups were delicious and hot as hell, which is how I like it. We went to lunch after church on a Sunday and they offered the lunch menu which was very affordable. Lunch was served with soup, egg roll, a wonton, rice and entree. The heaven dragon over off Quaker has always been my families go to spot for years now. Take this review with a grain of salt as we got takeout, but we did have to wait for about 20-30 minutes beyond when they said it would be ready until they got it to us. All but one thing we ordered was awful. Especially their Sesame Beef. We asked for very spicy and it was so mild, but it was breaded. Everything that was breaded, sesame beef, sweet & sour pork, teriyaki chicken was hard as a rock. I love Chinese and eat it all the time. Even the egg drop soup was bad. What made us the most mad was we complained about the sesame beef, and they did nothing. Didn't offer to remake it, offer another dish, nor take it off our bill. We always visit the location on 120th and had recently moved to this side of town. We noticed this location and wanted to give it a try. First impressions on walking in- welcoming and super clean. We were seated right way and had very quick service the entire time. The food however, was not it. Wontons were pretty good. We ordered sesame chicken and it tasted very burnt. Been here about 3 times ; I feel like the service could use a little bit more work. The food was okay nothing to brag about , I will say that they do give you a lot of food which is a positive . On this visit I decided to order sweet and sour shrimp and my husband ordered hot and sour chicken. When the meals arrived she brought my husband the wrong meal. When he told her she argued and picked up the plate then tossed it back on the table and said that's what he ordered. She walked away and started to tell the other employees what was going on. At that point I thought she was going to get him the right meal. Then 15 minutes later she comes to the table to refill our drinks. We ask if she's bringing out the meal and she said "no!" It hurt my soul, so I called and ordered it off the menu cause I would prefer to drive then pay almost double a reasonably priced amount would be. Sorry, I'm low key salty about it. Good food. Very disappointed with our takeout tonight. Egg drop soup is pretty, but had zero taste! Seriously tasted like thickened water. Pork dumplings were nicely browned, but again, filled with a chunk of roast pork. No taste, no extra condiments, but served in nicely shredded cabbage. Entree of combo Pad Thai was soggy, grainy, little taste. I thought I had ordered chicken with cashews but when I got home I had chicken with broccoli. The broccoli was nicely stir-fried and still crunchy, but the rest of it was again lacking in texture and taste. This is the usual generic Chinese food you will find in most cities. For the average Joe that just wants " Chinese food" this will hit the mark. Serving size is reasonable.
