Stopped in on our way through Brighton. The parking lot was packed so we knew we were hitting the right place. The model has a mix of fast casual and sit down. You order your meal at the counter and pay, then with your number in hand, you find your seat and wait while munching on some great chips and salsa. Your meal is brought to your table. Shrimp is their thing! I had a chimichanga that was packed with veggies, tasty sauce and shrimp. My daughter had Sopes de Camaron. Delish! My husband is a beef guy so he had a smothered beef burrito. He said it was one of the best he has had. My son went for an entrée of fried chicken filet with potatoes, beans and rice. The rice even has tiny shrimp. We all left full with left overs for our next meal.

We last minute decided to try this place and we were so glad we did! You order at the window when you get there. They have like well over 100 different options to choose from. Our food and drinks were delicious but I will say the Barbacoa Tacos were amazing and definitely a must try next time you eat here. So glad this place is close to where we live.

The person who served us ended up being the gentleman who owned the place I think he's got a great thing going for the people of Brighton, aCO & the surrounding areas! If you live far,it's well worth the drive!! I would recommend the Grill on Main St. because it was so extremely delicious! And we were beyond satisfied & loved the atmosphere & the desserts, too! I've now even ordered it for delivery & the portion sizes are huge!! With very high quality ingredients! Thanks to the people here for having such excellence in what you bring to those who need a good place to eatand, well we all need to eat--let's all eat here!!

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't dirty or unkempt in any way, but it had that old, hole-in-the-wall kind of feel that can either be a good thing or a bad thing. Well, it was a good thing. I'm so glad I gave this place the benefit of the doubt! The server (Jamiee, I think) was very friendly and attentive. I love Mexican food, and I'm kinda picky when it comes to the little things like sauces, chips, guacamole, salsa, etc. For me, that's usually a pretty good barometer for how the rest of the food is going to be. I ordered chips, salsa, and a side of guacamole to start. The chips were homemade, and soooo freaking good -- thick and crunchy, but still had a light texture. The guacamole was absolutely top shelf -- creamy but not runny, and just the perfect amount of spices, tomatoes and onions. The salsa had a decent kick, but nothing crazy. It was really good, if not a smidge on the runny side. The star of the show here was the smothered burrito. I ordered mine with carne asada. The sucker was huge, and loaded to the rim of the plate with a green chile sauce that was just, well, ridiculous. The melty cheese on top, with tomatoes, lettuce, and a respectable dollop of sour cream on the side, was a full-on party for my tastebuds. Why the 4 stars then, and not 5, you might ask? Well, the carne asada was a bit too charred for my liking. Just a few too many crispy/crunchy pieces for it to be perfect. The chunks that weren't crispy were super tender though. I just wanted more of that. Got a mango shake to go, made with hand-scooped ice cream (not soft serve). It tasted good but blended way too long, to the point of being runny. If I lived anywhere near here, I would 100% go back, not even a question.

The booth's were made from large concrete culverts and with 8 of them it looked great. I was very impressed with the building and atmosphere and this is why I gave it 3 stars. It may have gotten 4 if I would have been able to have a drink, I was working so I needed to be good. Now let's get to the food! I had the lemon chicken which they gave a cutesy name that I don't remember off hand. The chicken tasted great, but I am pretty sure that a sparrow would have dwarfed the bird they took the breast off of. I was also disappointed with the lentil beans that seemed a bit under cooked and wouldn't have been enough to fill up the bird I ate. They need to get their portions more in line with what the consumer wants and what they are charging. I am not saying that they should feed you like you are at a truck stop, but I want to eat healthy and still feel like I ate something. The food that I purchased for over $18 wouldn't have filled up a 6 year old. I mentioned this to the waiter and he did try to make it right with a few different suggestions, which I appreciated. They just opened, so I will give them a few weeks to improve on what they have and then I will go back and try it again. I will make sure that this time I am able to have a few drinks and enjoy the sunset at their outdoor seating.

The place was packed when we arrived but we were seated in about 10 minutes. Service was fast and friendly the whole time, even with the crowd. The interior is clean and modern, with a sushi bar for seating along with a few tables. It is a smaller space so it fills up quickly and reservations are definitely a good idea, especially on weekends. Overall it is a great spot and I am already looking forward to coming back.

We arrived shortly after they opened, so we had our pick of tables. Our waitress greeted us right away, took our drink order, and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. We decided to start with the special as an appetizer, along with a Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll (which was very tasty), miso soup, a house salad, and a variety of sushi rolls. The salad was large enough for us to easily share, and everything came out quickly. The presentation of the sushi was fairly typical of what we've experienced at other sushi restaurants, but the portions were generous and, most importantly, the quality was very good. We also noticed that the restaurant uses really nice ceramic dishware throughout, although the soup bowl was the one exception and appeared to be plastic or melamine. One of the things we especially appreciated was the service. Yonsei has that genuine mom-and-pop restaurant feel, which is something we really enjoy and prefer to support. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and everything about the experience felt comfortable and welcoming. Overall, we were very happy we gave Yonsei a try. Good service, generous portions, quality sushi, and that local neighborhood feel make it a place we would definitely return to when we're in the area! One small suggestion would be to provide a better quality soy sauce. The soy sauce used at the table was a little too salty for our taste and not as "velvety" as others I have tried in the past.

First, I wanted one of their specialty martini's but I asked if I could replace the grey goose with Belvedere - I'd pay the difference. I was told, "we cannot make any changes on our martinis" which stunned me but whatever. I still had it and it was fine, although the oil globlettes floating on the top were unappealing. I then ordered the SAUSAGE Bread. It did eventually come... took almost 30 minutes but it did eventually arrive. And yet, I never did find the sausage lol. Yes, it has a little tiny bit of sausage but the primary ingredients are Cheese, Bread and Spice - overly spiced to hide that there's no meat, is my bet. Definitely couldn't taste meat - just got cheese and bread and oil. There was some grey color that could've been sausage but couldn't taste it. Also, it was overcooked - the crust was hard on my mouth - clearly overcooked which didn't help it at all, but the biggest problem was the hype that they covered up with cheese, oil/butter and spices. Could be fantastic. Is NOT fantastic for a true food lover. Service wasn't great - they overload their staff for sure, but I was there during a non-busy period and she didn't even remove my menus. They sat there the entire time I was there.
