Nice family ran restaurant. Complementary chips and delicious salsa. Seeming clean space.

Settled on Kikos while visiting a state park nearby. I'm thinking I didn't order some of the right things, but also if you're a solid restaurant all of your items should be at least decent. The service was friendly and quick and the interior was clean. Chips and Salsa was good. The salsa was great, not too spicy. Soft Chile Relleno Smothered in Cream Sauce. It was nice and big and the cream sauce was delicious, but there was way too much cheese for my liking. The cilantro lime rice didn't have much of a lime taste and was pretty bland. The chicken taquito was quite sad. It was way too hard and small. Plus the chicken was dry as hell with no flavor. Kikos has a free check in on yelp that I was happy to see. It was a free order of sopapillas. However, when I showed them the offer they said they didn't have sopapillas.. she came back after talking with the manager and offered me a churro. It came out freshly made, but it was too hard. Overall, a decent spot, but probably not the greatest in the area.

We love Kikos! The team is always in a great mood. They are a pleasure to deal with. The prices are good and the food is yum. We used to do Taco Tuesdays with them. They are no longer opened on Tuesdays . This particular time we ordered breakfast tacos which were loaded with yummy deliciousness. The huevos rancheros was also yum. The star of the menu is their 7 or 9 layer dip. The dip gets inhaled! Highly recommend Kikos if you're in the area and want some delicious Mexican food.

I Found this in my food and almost swallowed it! Glad I didn't. That would've been bad. The "green Chile" was not green Chile. It was horrible! It tasted like they put Tabasco sauce in it. 1st and last time going there!

Awesome place! We were out in Brighton looking for goats believe it or not and thought we would stop and get some lunch. My brother in-law came up with this place after looking them up on Yelp. I was a little skeptical at first but figured we would give it a shot. Every one was really friendly and super helpful in getting our table figured out as it was pretty busy. The waitress was super sweet and even apologized for running around like crazy, but she did a great job taking care of us. We ordered the platinum margaritas which were nice and tasty and only $7. Not a bad deal at all. We started off with the 9 Layer Dip which ended up being like a soup or stew once all the layers were mixed together. It was REALLY good. It could easily be a meal all by itself. It had layers of beans, cheese, sour cream, ground beef, green chile, corn, and a few other layers that I can't really remember. It was spicy and hearty. We had it with chips, but it would be even better with tortillas on the side. I ordered the combo with a crispy relleno, cheese enchilada, Mexican rice (they offer cilantro lime rice also), and beans. I ordered half/half on the green chile (half mild/half hot) on the relleno. So glad I did, cause the hot was HOT, and it was really crispy. The enchilada was nice and cheesy and the rice and beans were delish. I stole a piece of hubby's tortilla to clean up my plate if you know what I mean. Hubby and my brother in law love spicy food and both ordered hot green chile with their meals and they had the sniffles while eating it. It was a good hot though, not too hot to enjoy it. We even ordered some food to go for my son who loves hot food and he wanted more. Don't forget to check in with Yelp because you get an order of sopapillas when you do. They were really good. I grew up with my mom making tortillas which were sometimes cut and fried into sopapillas, and these were just like them. Sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar and served with honey on the side. I can't wait to come back! I have a couple of friends that I want to come with and I also want to bring my dad to check it out. I think they will LOVE it. Cheers!

The food is very good. Tried the breakfast burrito and it was so large and tasty, I enjoyed it so much. I have been here three times and I was never disappointed. Great place to eat if in Brighton and not far enough to not go if craving their food when at home.

Food was amazing. Salsa has so much flavor with perfect amount of kick. Can't remember the names of our entrees but we loved them both. It's alot of food. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Great place to stop if you fly into Denver then are driving to Estes Park.

Great food and very nice employees! I do have to say the salsa is delicious! The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because of the price for my chilaquiles and the crappy preparation. Chilaquiles here are $12.75. Most places charge less than $10. Today, I basically paid $13 bucks for dried tortilla chips with some chorizo, beans, guacamole and the fixings. Come on Kiko's.....Your food is usually amazing but $13 for dried tortilla chips???? I should have just paid $5 for a large tortilla chips and salsa and ordered a side of beans.

    Amazing salsa and chips!

When looking at the menu, the prices were outrageous, but thought the food must be really good! The restaurant doors were locked when we arrived around 11:30, even though their website said they opened at 10:00. I like to support local restaurants but this one was horribly disappointing! We were the only customers in the restaurant and service was extremely slow. There was only one employee we saw, the one who unlocked the door for us and turned out to be our waitress. She was polite, but very slow in getting our drink order, food order, and ticket. I could have understood understaffing, but as mentioned, we were the only customers in the place. When our food came, I was almost embarrassed for our waitress. The food hardly filled our plates. I ordered a chicken dish where the chicken breast had been split in half. It was tough and hard to cut and and chew. It was maybe the size of a small burger, very small and about 1/4 of an inch thick! According to the menu description, it was supposed to be marinated. It tasted like the "marinade" was ketchup mixed with a little Tabasco. Other plates were very skimpy on food. Burritos and enchiladas were small and almost almost laid flat on the plates. I guess I could deal with it better if the cost was about ¼ of the price we paid. No drinks for 4 totaled, with tip, around $80.00!! Will never go to this place again! I typically don't do reviews but this experience was completely "over the top" bad in all areas. We all left feeling cheated, and hungry! Don't waste your money here!

The large seating area is clean, and the ordering area is modern, with large menu screens. The food is formatted so that you select your protein variation and then a presentation, which could be a quesadilla, nachos, taco, sandwich, or bowl. If you really want more, you can select a side dish. We decided to try pork nachos and a birria quesadilla. The service was top-notch, and the staff was super friendly. Unfortunately, it was a big letdown. $15 nachos had very little pork but lots of convenience store nacho cheese sauce, which was not at all what I expected. They also were missing a mess of normal nacho toppings, and those that were on it were scarce. More than half the chips were dry. The quesadilla was unremarkable. The cheese used was not high quality, and it seemed average at best. Overall, I am disappointed as I would have loved to have found another option in Brighton. With the fun atmosphere and lots of TV, it would have been a good place to grab a bite, a beer, and watch the game or meet with friends. Hopefully, they get it dialed in or lower their prices to reflect the actual product.

That being said this being food truck, I still had to pay with a leg and half an arm for simple food to go, $17 an item. Simple service and not much else besides a snack. Food choices were chicken, pork or veggie. Bowl, tacos or quesadilla. We opted for a chicken bowl and pork tacos. Chicken bowl was small, basic, and topped with geen Chile's not really a a green chile. Food had an interesting citrus profile topped with cabbage, not a slaw. The pork tacos were a better of the two, being full of flavor and moist but drenching the single corn tortilla it was served in. By the end of the first taco, the other two were falling apart. Tacos were topped with cabbage again but all together, a very small portion filling for the tortilla being used. Overall food was edible. Not a coleslaw like labeled. Green chile was in fact just diced up green chile almost canned like. Small portions for the amount of paid. Would eat if I was hungry enough.
