Excellent street tacos and breakfast burritos. Served out of a taco truck, service was friendly and reasonably quick for how popular they are. Their popularity speaks for itself. It's also situated on the west side of a liquor store, so there's shade in the morning, a few benches to settle on, and a liquor store to browse. If you want to wait in your car, then they'll give you a buzzer. In this economy, the prices were very reasonable. And given how good the food is, this is good value. The breakfast burrito is stuffed quite nicely. Plenty of potato, egg, cheese, and protein. Very good ratio too. Not too much or too little on any ingredient, like cheese or potato. We got asada and al pastor tacos. While they aren't like the greatest of all time, they were very solid. Generous portions of meat, as expected for street tacos. Al pastor has the marinade and pineapple flavor shining through nicely. The meats were prepared and cut perfectly well, which matter a lot for street tacos. Cilantro, onion, double corn tortilla... check, check, and check. Finally the salsas are awesome. Red and green. Good amount of kick to it, and fantastic flavors to put onto street tacos and burritos. Definitely check out this taco truck. I have a hard time believing that this wouldn't be in anyone's top 5 tacos in Colorado. read more

We were craving tacos, and boy did we pick the right place! Upon arriving, i didn't expect the eatery to be a taco truck. I don't normally eat at taco trucks but this place definitely deserves recognition. It may be worth noting that the quesabirrria order comes with 3 tacos. We over ordered too many tacos not knowing this. Plenty of sauce for dipping is included. I ordered two carne asada tacos and they were about the closest thing to having a backyard carne asada party. Tacos are mouthwatering and so flavorful! Hot sauces are delicious and taste home made. Super friendly service. There is no table seating but there are two benches available to dine at. 2025 Oct: Delicious $3 Street Tacos! The taco truck is conveniently located off I-25 near the Outlets in Thornton. So when traffic is bottlenecked on I-25 (always in that area), exit immediately & head over! Plenty of parking in the lot right next to Applejacks. I was solo, so my order was limited to Al Pastor & Suadero (brisket) tacos. Not many places offer Suadero, so that alone is worth the trip! The Al Pastor was one of the best I've ever had. All tacos were only $3 each! (The one tiny issue for me was the cilantro & onions were finely minced instead of diced/chopped. This place is very good and the people working were very friendly. We got Al pastor tacos, an Al pastor burrito, and an Al pastor torta (we like Al pastor). Everything was delicious. I got sucked in my the smell of sizzling meat as I did a quick liquor store run; as I hadn't had lunch I thought why not get a burrito to go real quick. The food was pretty good; there were some fatty pieces that I ended up giving to the cat. I also do question if it was Al pastor as it tasted and looked a bit more like carne asada lol but maybe that's just how they do their pork? Idk I would probably come back to try their tacos and tortas but I'm probably not going out of my way to go way to 136th if you know what I mean. I would totally stop by if I'm in the area.
