so so so good! the quesa birria tacos are amazing & the asada is great too. a must try spot!

We were craving tacos, and boy did we pick the right place! Upon arriving, i didn't expect the eatery to be a taco truck. I don't normally eat at taco trucks but this place definitely deserves recognition. It may be worth noting that the quesabirrria order comes with 3 tacos. We over ordered too many tacos not knowing this. Plenty of sauce for dipping is included. I ordered two carne asada tacos and they were about the closest thing to having a backyard carne asada party. Tacos are mouthwatering and so flavorful! Hot sauces are delicious and taste home made. Super friendly service. There is no table seating but there are two benches available to dine at. If Im ever back in the area, I will definitely make the drive for more tacos. Thank you for a great first experience!

    Suadero & Al Pastor tacos

2025 Oct: Delicious $3 Street Tacos! The taco truck is conveniently located off I-25 near the Outlets in Thornton. So when traffic is bottlenecked on I-25 (always in that area), exit immediately & head over! Plenty of parking in the lot right next to Applejacks. I was solo, so my order was limited to Al Pastor & Suadero (brisket) tacos. Not many places offer Suadero, so that alone is worth the trip! The Al Pastor was one of the best I've ever had. All tacos were only $3 each! (The one tiny issue for me was the cilantro & onions were finely minced instead of diced/chopped. I really like the crunch & coolness of the larger pieces, like pico de gallo).

It's a truck - and if you get it right, you can have a full meal starting with tacos at this truck, maybe with a little wine from the store, and finish with donuts from ChuliToxica's truck around the corner.* * I didn't try the donuts. But they smelled good. The tacos were top notch, super yum and fast. Tortillas were amazing. Fresh, delish, can't ask for more.

Food truck w/picnic benches. Hubs n I stopped by for a quick bite. We grabbed a steak torta and a bean n cheese burrito smothered. Torta:bread soft, steak tasty but no spice. Ingredients fresh and delicious. Burrito: everything tasted pretty good if a teensy bit bland but I'm married to an Indonesian so I'm hard to please. I need spice and I wish the green choke had a little. But everything is fresh and obviously made with care. Will we be back? Sure if we're in the area. But not worth driving out if our way for.

I got sucked in my the smell of sizzling meat as I did a quick liquor store run; as I hadn't had lunch I thought why not get a burrito to go real quick. The food was pretty good; there were some fatty pieces that I ended up giving to the cat. I also do question if it was Al pastor as it tasted and looked a bit more like carne asada lol but maybe that's just how they do their pork? Idk I would probably come back to try their tacos and tortas but I'm probably not going out of my way to go way to 136th if you know what I mean. I would totally stop by if I'm in the area. Oops almost forgot to the mention. Their green salsa is great. Definitely get that one if you have to choose. The red probably had a bit more heat but a little less flavor. Go with the green!

They never let me down!! I love the breakfast burrito!!! I get steak, papas, eggs, cheese and the green chili on the side and it is always on point!!! They are located in the Jax liquor store parking lot! Service is fast and the staff is very kind. There are picnic tables and it's a nice and relaxing ambiance. Great place for a little break!!!

Seating for 6 at best and mostly a counter and a kitchen. Is this in a location that is just a little unexposed to drive by traffic, yes. It is off Sheridan and 10th Ave between apartment buildings and houses not what you expect. As I drove up to the location it is in a building with an off brand convenience store and a dry cleaners with no other businesses nearby. It's not real inviting from the exterior or even the interior as far as that goes. This is a classic case of " don't judge a book by It's cover " or you'll be missing out on a real gem for customer service and tasty eats. We were greeted upon arrival by a very pleasant lady behind the counter. We took one of the three small empty tables and studied the menu. You order at the counter and most of the customer traffic while we were there was Doordash type orders and the to go orders were steady. My son ordered three tacos and a bottle of Coke. I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon as the protein and smothered with green chili. This is rare but my son raved about the tacos, not just that they were good. He stated that he would definitely be returning to repeat the experience. He said he could taste every ingredient used to make his tacos. My breakfast burrito was very tasty, every ingredient was cooked to my expectation. The eggs were fluffy, bacon crispy but not burnt and the hash browns cooked to perfection. The star of this dish for me was the green chili that smothered an already delicious breakfast burrito. We both agreed this was one of the best lunches we have enjoyed over the years. Don't be put off by the location or the exterior, its worth a visit. The service was good, food was excellent, the place was clean and the prices were reasonable. I don't know the story behind this restaurant but I hope going forward they get good business demand because good food and good service should be appreciated. In the last three or more years service has certainly declined and good food is harder to find at reasonable prices. I will be back when I am in the area to try other dishes and my son who lives not too far away says it is his new taco place. I would invite other Yelper's to give it a try.

They have a lot of menu items, and I have yet to be disappointed. My husband loves the mole enchiladas, I love the birria tacos and I know the quesadillas are awesome and huge. Not a fan of their beans, just not for me but that's not what we go here for anyways. The service when ordering out is always great and fast. I don't order ahead a lot of times, as I'm usually only waiting maybe 10 minutes tops for an order of 3 dinner meals. Service for dine in could use some improvements. You can tell staff isn't used to a lot of dinning in, and sometimes are even themselves having their lunch in the dining area in the restaurant. It's all order at the counter, pay and they bring it out for you, so no table service which didn't bother us but not made known to customers right away. We always get food here though when we need good Mexican food. Flavorful, delicious, and portions are worth the prices, trust me. So if you just want good Mexican food done right, at a good price and don't need the big chain restaurant tacky decor ambiance, you have to give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

There was no guacamole, sour cream or cheese. Just rice beans and pico, but I was happy. My table partner got Birria Xalisco. Wheelchair accessibility: there are several different seating options both inside and outside that work for a wheelchair user.
