Consume for Pizza Birria

Certainly one of the better mexican places I've tried in Denver. The birria pizza is huge, and will feed 3-4 people. I would recommend trying it for sure. The place is basically your standard hole in the wall Mexican place but the food here is better than most I've tried. I'm a bit of a mexican snob- being from San Diego I've been spoiled. With that said this place was refreshing to try because it's good even by SD standards. Service was good, food came out reasonably fast. All in all I'm glad we tried this place, I would recommend it & I will be back. Happy eating!!

Wow !! Hidden Gem The flavor and customer service is a 10/10 for me. I love how much meat the pizza birria has in it and all of the layers to it. They definitely do not skimp on meat or toppings. They also have the most amazing hot sauces. I haven't been able to find a really good hot sauce that has depth and flavor and they have one. I will be making sure I order it each time from now on.

Order their birria burrito and add over easy eggs. Maybe the best burrito ever. Grilled cheesy, flavorful birria, fresh pico, guacamole and the eggs, unforgettable. Their birria tacos were crispy and had a lot of meat. Also really good. Loved the cucumber and radishes and limes on the side. Sketchy location in a dead strip mall but busy for a reason.

Sweet, small, classic place in a slightly tough to find little strip mall. I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and today was the day. I ordered take out at the counter - the server/counter gal was sweet and patient t as my family changed orders at the last minute - son #2 frequents Mexico City and was psyched to try the birria and consume. I had called ahead and found out there was no meat in the beans or the red and green sauces - super bonus for this veg head. The place was spic and span and service was really quick. The food was great my husband and son really enjoyed the birria.

A diamond in the rough. Located just off Washington in a not so full, not updated shopping plaza is 'No Que No Authentic Mexican Kitchen.' The exterior is very unassuming but don't hesitate the food is delicious & true to the name Authentic, down to the slices of cucumber served with an order of tacos. Everything was fresh: chips were served hot, guacamole freshly combined. We heard the blender working for the Pineapple aqua fresca served with a head like a fresh drawn draft beer. The Gordita bread was crips on the outside, perfectly dense inside, soft & flavorful. The red salsa was 'enchilada' & has my companions eyes a bit teary. The salsa served with the fresh guacamole was freshly prepared with enough kick without being for the professionals only. The service was excellent. Friendly, attentive waitress who made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy this delicious food. You won't be disappointed. No te decepcionará.

The restaurant and the restaurant owners car... speaks volumes

Casey owner drives a camero meanwhile the foundation of the restaurant is run down and falling part. We came to this restaurant because it was highly rated in cleanliness and service. We called in-advance to ask if they had dine-in which the man told us they did not and only offered takeout. Immediately upon walking in there was a group of men sitting down near the register eating their meals. As we were waiting on our meal a man came in ordered his food, sat and ate. The restroom was not clean. We put in one order of birria tacos. When I asked for just a corn dog the short man with a disconnecting beard refused to sell it to me. He told me it has to come with the meal... the rest of the meal was a side of French fries. He kept telling me that "this is a restaurant if I want I can go to Walmart and buy them and go cook them in my own home" which we thought was extremely rude. The food on top of the awful customer service was horrible. It was very obvious they use cheap ingredients and they are not fresh. These are the skimpiest and absolute flavorless birria tacos we have ever had. I also asked for extra lime seeing as to how the ones he put into the container were rotting. He proceeded to tell me they're charging ¢99 for an extra lime wedge. Rotten limes at that. He smeared and told me "yeah everything costs I hope the restaurant owner will take the time to reevaluate these areas of concern. You should not be expecting the customers to be paying the costs of the very business you chose to enter. You're priorities should be to sustain the very image of success you're desperately trying to portray. If using fresh ingredients is too much to ask for and giving paying customers adequate amount of limes breaks the bank then maybe this isn't the business for you. The drinks were delicious. We got horchata and Jamaica you could tell they were freshly made.

Queso birria tacos with some awesome consommé
Alexa S.

Have you all tried queso birria tacos at this place?! Check this place out for legit authentic birria tacos. It is a stewed beef taco with queso blanco and a corn tortilla that is dipped in the consommé and griddled then a consommé on the side to dip your tacos in. It is the French dip in the taco world. They are incredibly humble people that really make good food. They also have a lot of different Aqua Frescas and tacos to try as well. They are located in a shopping strip that might not have much besides Freakys and a dessert place, but don't be hesitant to try them out. Don't wait until taco Tuesday to check these people out!

Pizza Birria

One of the best places I have went for Mexican food. The agua fresco are freshly made. Service is so fast. The food overall is just so delicious and good.

So to start off with I am really picky about Mexican food. And a four for me means I would happily…read morego again and recommend it for others. We started off with queso fundido and two Aguas Frescas, the Jamaica and the Horchata. The drinks were delicious and refreshing and the queso fundido had a good flavor and was gigantic in fact, we ate almost the whole thing, and because we ate almost the whole thing we were already full by the time the rest of our food came out, but don't worry, dear reader we persevered. I got the steak fajitas and the meat was really yummy. The tortillas were perfect and their pico added just the right amount of spice. note for somebody who gets a lot of fajitas. There was no guacamole, sour cream or cheese. Just rice beans and pico, but I was happy. My table partner got Birria Xalisco. And said that the meet and consome was delicious and the blue masa cake might've been the best part. Wheelchair accessibility: there are several different seating options both inside and outside that work for a wheelchair user. The path of travel inside the restaurant is a little bit tight, and the path of travel back to the bathrooms is pretty tight and somebody with a larger chair might not be able to make it through. The bathroom door is super super heavy to where we had to have somebody else open it.

I've always had high hopes for this place. We finally went in today for lunch (Easter Sunday). We…read moreread through the menu and it took awhile before we ordered. Once we ordered it was about 30-40 minutes before we got our food. The gentlemen behind us got part of their order before us, but we ordered as they were sitting down (could have been an appetizer though). I ordered what I thought was a poblano stuffed with cheese and mushrooms but it was only mushrooms. Very bland. There was a side of sweet corn bread (sorry I don't know the actual name of it) that was delicious! My son ordered the guacamole- good but also bland. Needed salt and lime. Couldn't even taste the jalapeños. My husband got a pork carnitas taco - it was so good! Best thing we ordered. Restaurant ambience was great and the staff were nice. I went to the bathroom and when I entered, the light switched off. I was about to leave but then it came back on. The water faucet barely let out enough water to wash my hands. Overall, I wasn't impressed. For four of us, 3 drinks, and one eating an appetizer and not a meal, it was around $90. That's a lot these days. I don't think we will be back.
