Sad example of a hard shell taco.
    Paul B.

The portion size increasingly dramatically drops during in everything the pandemic raising prices and said it was for food quality cool whatever how about the portions the portions of meat in the tacos are sad especially when it's from 12 -3 on Friday and Saturday is a sad sad affair, sad affair, like you say you have to raise prices for the quality of the products. How about the portions dog? It's like a 2 ounce scoop of meat in each taco 2 ounces then you don't even sell extra taco meat so you can add more so it's a fulfilled taco your portion size suck. What's the excuse now we have to cut portion because price is going up. GTFOH

The food is OK. The tamales are gross and the masa taste gross. On Tuesday they are $1.39 tamales and the breakfast burrito with chili inside is ok. I gave two stars for the ok burrito and fast service. Go down the street to Santiago's.

Judging by what I've seen on the menu, there are so many options and choices to choose from. The burrito was quite huge but filling. I don't remember what was in the burrito exactly but it was quite good. It will definitely fill you up. The fries were okay and they would've been better if the fries were crunchier and crispier but the cheese made the fries soggy and soft. They were still good and edible.

What I ordered: a bean and potato burrito with Chile and cheese inside. What they heard: a burrito with eggs, bacon, ham and a bunch of other shit. Seriously, this is not what I wanted.

They never disappoint. The flavor is consistent for both the red enchilada plate and smothered beef burrito. Love this place.

Terrible customer service and the food is cold. Never again. Go to Taco Star around the crimes, this place smells inside and takes forever

Tasty food. Fast service and price is very good. FYI. Large drink is like 1/2 gallon in styrofoam cup. Be careful

And frankly, I'd still have been impressed by it even if I got it in either of those countries. One of my favorite restaurants around. This isn't a traditional Colorado "mexican" restaurant heavy on beans and grease - all the flavors are very bright, the menu is modern.

Once we ordered it was about 30-40 minutes before we got our food. The gentlemen behind us got part of their order before us, but we ordered as they were sitting down (could have been an appetizer though). I ordered what I thought was a poblano stuffed with cheese and mushrooms but it was only mushrooms. Very bland. There was a side of sweet corn bread (sorry I don't know the actual name of it) that was delicious! My son ordered the guacamole- good but also bland. Needed salt and lime. Couldn't even taste the jalapeños. My husband got a pork carnitas taco - it was so good! Best thing we ordered. Restaurant ambience was great and the staff were nice. I went to the bathroom and when I entered, the light switched off. I was about to leave but then it came back on. The water faucet barely let out enough water to wash my hands. Overall, I wasn't impressed. For four of us, 3 drinks, and one eating an appetizer and not a meal, it was around $90. That's a lot these days. I don't think we will be back.

We spoke with David and learned about their food and how much love they put in each dish. They have only been opened for 2 years. Service is friendly and the restaurant is very clean and modern. The food was phenomenal and Itacate is added to our list now. For starters, the fresada was delicious. It is a strawberry lemonade. I also ordered a Mango version to go. Very refreshing. We started off with the Queso Fundido with chorizo. It was hot and the cheese was just so good and stretchy. Such a nice find - we don't see it on menus in Colorado so must try. We ordered several tacos - birria, cochinita, shrimp, and fish. Every taco was delicious and full of flavor on its own. The rice and beans were also very well made. Each bite just bursts in flavor. David was kind enough to also let us try the Pambazo which is kind of like a torta but they grill it with the sauce on the outside. And if you put an egg in it, it can be fantastic breakfast sandwich. For dessert, we ordered the deditios con nieve which is funnel fries with sauce and coconut ice cream. It's deconstructed funnel cake essentially which my bf enjoyed because he can eat just the fries and ice cream. All in all, 10/10 experience. We will def be back

We both had a couple of tacos which were all delicious: 2 chicken, 1 shrimp and 1 fish. All of them were GF except the fish, due to the fish being breaded. The tortillas are deep fried which help them to hold together perfectly. The shrimp and chicken were both perfectly cooked and really flavorful. the cheese in all of them was delicious and gooey. They have a pretty big menu and we saw lots of delicious looking dishes floating by. Lots of vegetarian options too. (including potato tacos of which we ordered 2 to go and they were very well received). The service was great and very friendly. We will be back. Yum. The ambiance is nothing fancy but who cares when the food is so good!

They have a lot of menu items, and I have yet to be disappointed. My husband loves the mole enchiladas, I love the birria tacos and I know the quesadillas are awesome and huge. Not a fan of their beans, just not for me but that's not what we go here for anyways. The service when ordering out is always great and fast. I don't order ahead a lot of times, as I'm usually only waiting maybe 10 minutes tops for an order of 3 dinner meals. Service for dine in could use some improvements. You can tell staff isn't used to a lot of dinning in, and sometimes are even themselves having their lunch in the dining area in the restaurant. It's all order at the counter, pay and they bring it out for you, so no table service which didn't bother us but not made known to customers right away. We always get food here though when we need good Mexican food. Flavorful, delicious, and portions are worth the prices, trust me. So if you just want good Mexican food done right, at a good price and don't need the big chain restaurant tacky decor ambiance, you have to give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.
