If you're from out of town, Colorado green chili is definitely a must try. There's other notable places to get green chili but tamale kitchen is open at midnight and even has midnight madness promotion on their tamales! I would say this is definitely like drunk people food and since we're in Colorado people that 5280 Very, very high up in the sky. I was neither, but I didn't want to come back to grab a burrito and remember my former years partying in Denver. Not much has changed. The green chile is very good here for what it is. We sampled a breakfast burrito with potato, egg and cheese. It is your average breakfast burrito affair with an overwhelming amount of potatoes without any texture, but at least cooked through, and overcooked scrambled eggs. read more

Judging by what I've seen on the menu, there are so many options and choices to choose from. The burrito was quite huge but filling. I don't remember what was in the burrito exactly but it was quite good. It will definitely fill you up. The fries were okay and they would've been better if the fries were crunchier and crispier but the cheese made the fries soggy and soft. They were still good and edible. read more

Hard to order directly from Broomfield location. Phone to store hard to find. IMPORTANT because Tamale Kitchen Online orders get a Grub Hub fee tacked on whether you pickup or have Grubby deliver. Food actually pretty good for the breakfast burritos that I have tried. As long as the Grub Hub overcharge persists, I will not support or recommend the business. I have ordered at this location frequently. Sometimes 3+ times a week. I recently have been using them for corporate events ordering breakfast and lunch for 35 to 40 people. I have been ordering a specialty burrito for some time now. The little gal with glasses has been charging me around $5.50. I went in today and the older lady wanted to charge me $9.00. this is not the first time that I have been charged different amounts for the same order. Not to mention when I ordered large quantities of burritos they came much smaller than single burritos ordered. Poor customer service is enough to keep me away. The older woman didn't want to hear me out nor did she try to satisfy a loyal customer. I will no longer use this location for any events. read more

The girl that took my order spoke perfect English, therefore the excuse for serving my family spicy food can't be normal is it a language barrier. The menudo was clearly not freshly made as the hominy was clumped together from being reheated from a frozen batch. The broth of the menudo was yellow on top that gradually changed colors to dark red at the bottom. My family LOVES tamales. I LOVE menudo. If I could rate a place 10/5 stars I would only do it here. Not only does this place make the most authentic Mexican food with fresh ingredients and obscure menu items. It offers everything at convenient hours and at amazing prices. Some highlights of food here would have to be the tamales with an awesome selection of fillings and good savings for an multiple tamale order. The lengua taco is delicious and the chille rellenos are an amazing local addition. Worth a trip on its own. The only downside to this place is the large horchata price tends to make most meals surprisingly expensive, but the horchata has the perfect cinnamon-ice ratio of any other Mexican restaurants in the area. read more

The best thing about this location is its open 24 hours!! Ive only been here a couple of times , but honestly the couple of times and honestly I havent been disappointed. Thier not crazy busy but they have consistant traffic. They also offer drive thru service and you can also dine in. They have different specials thru the week, which I've yet to take advantage of. They offer a wide variety if burritos and a oretty lg menu. So if your looking for a quick mexican food fix this may do it for you . They have handheld and smothered burritos and obviously tamales. Honestly not too bad. Got the steak burrito; luckily I ordered it smothered because it was literally only steak. The green Chile, cheese, and tomatoes and onions made it more interesting and flavorful. I also got a pint of beans that don't get me wrong were delicious, but heavy!! Well first of all do not go through their drive through if your in a hurry.. waited over 40 minutes on a Tuesday night around 6 pm. The worst thing is once your in line you can't get out even if you wanted to. I'd highly recommend ordering ahead and going inside to get your food. The food variety was very good but was surprised that they didn't have carnitas, seems to be a staple with most Mexican places. They did have tamales for .92 ea on Tuesday which is a decent price. The food tasted good nothing spectacular, the green chili was not as hot as I like and they have no options to make it hotter or milder if that's desired. Had a barbacoa burrito smothered and we also had a steak burrito for my partner. One big plus was they gave plenty of green chili! We did also order 6 of the hot pork tamales, they had a decent amount of meat, again not much spice, much better smothered in green chili. In conclusion it's not my go to Mexican place but not the worst just very average. We were originally going to go to Santiagos which I feel is much better and better service. read more

And as you know if you have ever eaten at Tamale Kitchen, waiting 14 minutes for salty, kind of bland, greasy Mexican food is really not a wise decision on anybody's part. First off The burritos here were dry, the meat was over seasoned with seasoning salt. I got the burrito smothered and it was too salty. You could taste the MSG in the food. My tacos were dry as well no sour cream, very little tomato bits, and the shell was burnt. I also got a Mexican pizza and it was burnt.
