GARBAGE compared to the one on Sheridan, these guys gave me a bad burrito just to only give the refund, like bro give me one for later if you already wasted my time driving down here to fix what YALL messed up. Trashy trash read more

I've eaten here several times while in town visiting friends. They have really really good tamales. I prefer the mild red pork ones. The are flavorful and delicious. They look small but 2-3 will stuff you full. Their green chili have a nice flavor and slight kick, where their red chili... I'm pretty sure satan himself seasoned it. It is HOT. But you don't notice it immediately, oh no, you have to get about 2 bites in before you realized just how hot it actually is. Unless you're a fan of tongue scorching spice, stick with the green. In the past I've tried the refried beans and rice and wasn't a big fan but I decided to try them again because it's been a couple of years since I've had them. The beans are not good. They taste heavy and lack any flavor whatsoever. The rice is okay but it also lacks flavor. It's pretty bland. It does get better if you put some of that green chili on it though. I will continue coming back here, I'll just stick with the entree and won't buy the sides again. read more

Best chili relleno I've ever had and churros! I will always remember their churros and just how delicious they were! Great staff and great spot! read more

This was incredibly frustrating. Three cars ahead of us and we were literally in the drive through for 60 minutes waiting for two breakfast burritos. SIXTY MINUTES. Super glad we were late to a graduation ceremony for subpar burritos. Absolutely avoid this place. Update: pretty good burritos read more

We have been going here for years. There has always been some sort of wait in getting your food. It has been getting steadily worse. Today I waited over 30 minutes in drive thru with 3 cars in front of me. The bags that came out were small bags..: not large orders. Once I paid for my food it was another 15 minutes..: for a taco, cup of beans and an enchilada. As with everything l, prices have gone up. But $1 for a side of salsa? The small one, that you get with a meal. $4 for a very small cup of beans. If you want tamales, this is the place. I'll be going elsewhere for the things I got today though. The price and the horrible wait time doesn't make it worth it. inside they had 2 customers../ I just don't understand why it takes that long. 2 counter people just standing there. Maybe they could help with putting beans in a cut instead of doing their hair ( around the food for cripes sakes) read more

Go to this place if you like to sit in line for about an hour to an hour and a half. And if your vegan forget it! They have very few vegan options and most likely will still put cheese all over everything so check yo bags before you leave or you may have to wait in line again! read more

The rice was dry. I've been there a couple of times to try to get breakfast. Burritos and those are dry, their tamales were way too hot. Our kids couldn't even eat It Talk about a waste of money. read more

The variety is good, close and reasonably fast. This is not the kind of place you go for service.

This is great place for local mexican food , I have been eating here for years and its always fresh and delicious , i usually get breakfast so not sure about the entire menu but for what i order its mmmmmmm good try it out for youself read more

I wish we could give half stars. I would give it 2.5 stars. The restaurant has pretty decent food overall. A couple of steps up from Taco Bell. There tamales are passable, but I have a to go to place for my tamale hankerings. Their tamales are small and mostly corn mesa with very little whatever in the middle. They have good chicken tacos. I was a bit put off by how they charge more than what the menu says in the dive thru. I never saw a 'note' on the drive thru menu that said they are charging an extra $1.50 because of covid. Even if the were a note, it would be too late because one is already stuck in the drive thru line. I felt a little ripped off because of this. The dive thru line takes a long time to get through, but I can understand, they are working hard making food. read more

I don't usually leave reviews but the pozole was disgusting. The only flavor in it was salt. LOTS OF SALT! Hope my garbage disposal likes it because that is where it went. I won't be order there again! read more

This is an all time favorite!!!!! No complaints here, and LOVE the authenticity of the kitchen staff.

My go to Mexican fast food restaurant. Since I moved to the area I haven't been to Taco Bell or any other Mexican spots. Huge portions for a fraction of the cost. Delicious tacos, burritos, breakfast burritos, and tostadas. Open late on weekends. Simply delicious! read more

I wish I could separate the star rating for food and service. I feel bad for the people that work here, I feel like it's a sweat shop for kids and people that just need a job. The atmosphere is terrible, I wonder if this matters to the owners while the food continues to be in demand. I also wonder how long they have been over charging people vs. menu price. Someone must have complained, there is a hand written notice taped below the menu board ... this overcharging has been going on for a while, thanks for the note. All the food I have ever eaten here is truly the best for my tastes. This trip however I'm super nervous about eating my Tamale plate after the "cockroach" review AND picture ... thanks for that. Any way, as long as there are no pests in your food, go through the drive, don't eat inside. I'm sure you will enjoy. read more

This place has great reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. I love breakfast burritos, but I'm never out and about early enough to have one. Luckily Tamale Kitchen serves breakfast all day. I tried the egg & potato breakfast burrito, special (meaning with cheese and green chile inside). It was very tasty. It was hot, fresh, cooked to order and didn't need the meat. It's a good sized burrito for $3.50. It was definitely worth it and I know I'll be back for more. I also really want to try the tamales. The lady who took my order was very friendly. I was in and out in under five minutes (I was the only person in line). Overall I was very happy and glad I've found a great breakfast burrito for any time of day. I've also been back and tried the chicken & rice burrito, special. It was delicious! I also tried a cheese and jalapeño tamale. It was very hot and not at all cheesy. I'll pass on those from now on. Still a really great burrito place, just don't expect the line to go too quickly. read more

A dozen red pork tamales 2 smothered steak fries burritos 3 sodas $25 Pretty inexpensive in my opinion. The tamales aren't the best but they are great. The steak fries burrito is fantastic. Comes with steak, steak fries on the inside, guacamole, lettuce and sour cream. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the wait time/space. Get comfortable and put your car in park if you're in the drive thru...or sit in the very overcrowded lobby. read more

The staff are now wearing gloves at the window most of the time. They have worn them 2 out of 3 times that we have gone through the drive through in the last couple of weeks. It definitely made a difference and we don't smell her perfume on our food packaging if she is wearing gloves. Hopefully staff continue to wear them all of the time now. Thank you to the business owner for listening! read more

Love going to this place. Has the best breakfast burritos when they actaully give you the right order. 3rd time this has happened. Specifically said breakfast burrito- steak with green Chile on the inside. I got a Cali burrito. Not only that but went to call back to be nice so they can fix it. Drove all the way back home and an hour later they still can't answer there phone. Not trying to be rude it's just if you round up my money and charge me $14 for 2 burritos I atleast want what I ordered dude. Like come on pay attention. If you want this business to go far, you have to treat customers with respect. Definitely going elsewhere cuz this is fucking ridiculous. read more

Soggy food. Never get order correct. Just ordered 2 smothered GREEN chile mild burritos. Got spicy red sauce. It's getting old and I'm going somewhere else in town for Mexican. Also...waited like 30 minutes for my order today, which i would have been fine with if it was successful. read more

The Temale Kitchen is great mexican at an amazing price. Tamale Tuesdays gives you .50 tamales. I mean that is crazy good! and the tamales are very tasty. The chile relleno burritoes are very yummy but some beano might be needed. I love it. I love it so much. I'm here like every 2 weeks to eat. So delicious. The chile is good. Mmmmm.

Tamale Kitchen has become our go to place before a caving meeting at O'Meara Ford's conference room. The menu is overwhelming at first but once you choose a few favorites, you will probably not stray and order the same thing. We have had tamales by the dozen and printed a coupon for buy 2 get one free, a chili rellano, a chili rellano burrito, and a pork and potatoes smothered burrito. All were good with a nice spicy chili. The husband gets the mild and it has enough spice for him. Carmel Churros are next on the agenda and if I were a night owl, I would love to see the drive through on a weekend at midnight for Taco Madness. read more

Tamale Kitchen - Note that allows them to charge anything they want??!!! - Mexican Near Me - Northglenn, Colorado

This place is delicious. I usually get the combo #8, sometimes extra spicy, a taco plate, or an enchilada plate. I love the rice and beans. If you get tamales, get at least a half dozen, they are on the smaller size but yummy. All items are good, one of my favorite places to eat in the area. Always great service at the drive through or inside but I've been door dashing to my office lately. Alls well that ends well! read more

1. Don't ever order menudo or posole here. The menudo has lots of hair in it from the feet. And both soups taste the same!!! 2. Burritos aren't bad but they lack the stuffing that makes other burrito places better. If you order a beef burrito, you literally get nothing but beef in it. 3. Churros!!! 4. Tamales are ok, they have a lot of options. read more

I am giving them one star because I can't give them a zero. Called to get a take out order hot hung up on, called back and it just rang for minutes. So much for spending money with local business! What can I say? This place is great! We had the bean burritos with chili and cheese on top with chicharrones. The quality is very decent, the chili could use a little more heat, still a wonderful flavor. 4/5 stars for me. read more

Love the tamales. Hate the service. I ordered a dozen tamales with a cup of green chili near closing time. I received my order, drove off and checked it. No green chili. I tried to go back through the drive thru but was yelled at that they were closed. I tried to explain that I was missing food and was fed a line of "no english". So I asked them in Spanish if I could get the green chili I ordered, paid for, and didn't receive. She responded in very well spoken English that they were closed and I would have to come back tomorrow. Sigh. The green chili is what MAKES those tamales. However, I will be back, but will hold up the line to check my order. I will also brush up on my conjunctions so that they can't pull the "no English " crap. read more

Here is the deal. You can't show up at 9:55 and expect to be served. They don't answer the phone at night. They told me the night crew doesn't pick up the phone. Don't bother having something wrong with your meal. They say check, open the not they just put in the bag. The bag is impossible to open the way they just tie it up. You need to stop and open the bag in order for them to do anything. Don't get m started on the blob of cheese I got for my nachos. Liquid cheese with shredded cheese. It wouldn't even melt after a minute in my microwave! They are going down hill! Th latest. I pull up on a Sunday, they say they close at 10pm? They shut the doors and turned off the lights at 9:30 tonight. Well that is when I showed up. Anyway, this is my last time here. They are getting to expensive to put up with all the crap that comes a long with the place. read more

Have been going to this place for a while now for cheap somewhat passable Mexican food. I am not going to be going here anymore after they raised all the prices. If I'm going to pay $6.50 for a breakfast burrito I will happily go els where and get a burrito double the size with higher quality ingredients. The only thing that made this place somewhat worth the experience was their cheap prices, without that the price to taste ratio is to far out of proportion to make it worth it. read more

They trap you in their drive thru by moving through it slow and overcharged me. I ordered six tamales mild they gave me twelve hot ones and charged me $1 for each small salsa condiment. I feel it's a trap and the product was mediocre read more

The beef tacos are soooo bomb. No chewy pieces of meat, shells are crispy and don't fall apart & the salsa is delicious!

You want to eat the worse tamales you have ever eat,, go there,, they are horrible,, they are over cook and with nothing inside,,

Slow service Sunday morning waited over 20 mins...burrito too salty...hubby's burrito lacked flavor...too much tortilla...

What type of mexican restaurant doesn't have a free salsa bar? U know, the ones where they make them fresh daily that come with 4 different types of salsa, pickled veggies, cilantros and lime? I'm from southern ca and even if there isn't a salsa bar, mexican restaurants are happy to give more than enough salsa or hot sauce for free upon asking. You would think that spending 20+ dollars would entitle you to some free hot sauce or salsa but no, this place doesn't give salsa or hot sauce and the food is very dry. The food's way overrated and for those who enjoy this place, they don't really know what good mexican food is until they travel to southern california. This place for me is the watered down version of cafe mexico off 120th ave without the customer service as well. I swear this place hires some of the rudest most incompetent staff with zero customer service skills. had a bad experience with the rude bitch working the counter and will never return. You're better off going to Del Taco, if you can find one. read more

So i waited and gave a lil time before giving one of my fav restaurants ( tamale kitchen) another chance because i REALLY wanted another breakfast burrito and man was I DISAPPOINTED! At first i was excited because i got the burrito i noticed it was bigger even tho smaller. I took a bite dying to taste their great Chile only to get NONE!! It was SOOO bland with 0 flavor. It'll be a long time before i go back!!! Thanks for allowing 'INFLATION' to cause you to use smaller tortillas and NOW NO flavor!. I would have rather you charge a lil more money for the same quality rather the other way around. THANKS!!! read more
