    Mexican hamburger with chicharonnes
    James V.

We were looking for someplace quick, and someplace new while out running errands. This establishment takes the place of a former burger place owned by a former Bronco and CU football player who's name slips my name at present but is on the radio and TV occasionally. Anyway located in a strip mall off of Grant and 97th across from the Thornton Sam's club. North of the Bank of America next to Dickies BBQ. Not a huge restaurant but big enough. From what I could tell some alcohol selection are available definitely beer and probably at least Margaritas. Menu has a pretty decent selection that offers most of your basics/classics. Service was decent staff was friendly and our plates were served somewhat promptly but we weren't in a huge hurry so it didn't matter either way. Chips and salsa are complimentary. Meals were plentiful and the chili had a little kick to it but not overly hot. I kinda of like mine on the hotter side but chili is so inconsistent in opinion these days you have to be careful. But the meal was decent , can't say we were saying we can't wait to come back but if we were in the area we wouldn't rule it out either. Tables and chairs not sure how they would fair with large parties but I think they could make it work. Would I recommend? 50/50 on that there are places that I think we would go to first but that's all on personal preference. On the other hand I wouldn't say stay away either. So sure give them a shot. Everyone deserves a chance, right?

Relaxed atmosphere. chips and salsa when you arrive. Salsa has good flavor and a little bit of heat. Service has been great. Ordered a supreme steak and egg burrito.

This place is good, certain entrees are really good, some are good and some are ok. Our favorite thing here is the birria tacos, they are fantastic. The carne asada plate is four star, I liked it, not the best but enjoyable. I also tried their smoothered carne asada burrito and I wasn't really impressed. So if you come here, I would really recommend birria entree's, for that you should be pretty happy. Chips and salsa is alright, nothing special, but it's free. The ambiance is good for a strip mall, plenty of seating, bench and tables. The service has been good, our waitress checked on us multiple times. It's a good place to have lunch, although it can take 20-30 minutes to get served. Ultimately, this mexican spot is better than most in Colorado. Happy eating!

Stopped by last night because we were in the area and we have eaten here before. It was easy to get a table but the restaurant did fill up quickly. They have a very large menu- everyone will find something they can enjoy. Lots of kid friendly options. The table chips and salsa are average but also still complimentary. I ordered a frozen peach margarita and it was smooth and delicious. We ordered a quesadilla, lamb birria tacos and fried ice cream and ate every bite. Prices are reasonable for the quantity of food. If you haven't checked it out yet it's definitely worth a visit!

Everything we ordered (taco pizza, enchiladas, burrito, chimichanga) was pretty average, nothing to get excited about but the service was quick and the prices were pretty low for dinner and drinks. Restaurant was small, but cute and didn't feel packed. Fried ice cream was really good and we split it between 4 people.

We were called about 5 minutes into our estimated 30-minute wait and ended up seated at the bar. That's not usually my first choice, but it turned out to be a great spot. Everything is so organized, and I loved having a front-row seat to watch how thoughtfully (and deliciously) all the ingredients were arranged and served. I'll be happy to return, and I'll absolutely be recommending this unexpected gem to others. Thank you, Yonsei, for a wonderful evening and such an enjoyable experience. We ordered a pound of shrimp w/ heads, pound of snow crab and a pound of king crab with all in sauce and hot! It was very delicious, lots of flavor and very good spice level for my Mexican taste buds the snow crab was our fave! We also ordered the chicken fried rice and Cajun fries - the fried rice was excellent! Very well seasoned and I ate it to cool down my mouth from the spicy boil I would definitely come here just to order some fried rice. My partner was raving about how tender the chicken was. The Cajun fries came out hot and crispy we added the Cajun seasoning they had on the table and I really liked their sauce that came with the fries! Overall was a great experience, I would have appreciated a second refill on my soda but that's all I can complain about . This place will be my go to place for seafood now! I recommend %

I so wanted to be able to leave a good review, but alas, this was very disappointing. Asian cuisine…read moreand Cajun cuisine are both known for bold flavors and seasoning. Asian Cajun has neither. $20 for the fried oyster platter: the smallest flavorless oysters ever, obviously bought from SISCO, and a small handful of Cajun fries that I needed to dunk in ketchup, and if I need to use ketchup on your fries, that is a very bad sign, as I rarely use ketchup. I know from talking to the owner that the fries are $4 and you get a small handful. $16 for a soft shell crab basket: The difference between a basket and a platter is that the basket does not come with fries. These were small, overcooked, super oily crabs that tasted okay when dipped in their remoulade sauce. But nothing a Cajun or an Asian would say was seasoned properly. $50 for 3lbs of crawfish boil: I got the "all in" sauce, but could not taste any garlic, lemon, or Cajun seasoning. This is Prime time for Crawfish supposed to be the largest and best crawfish, harvested right now (but these were probably imported frozen from China; the shells were super soft and clung to the meat like previously frozen, cheap crawfish). There were a couple of medium to large crawfish in the bowl, and the rest were tiny, as small or smaller than my pinky finger. When you cook really small crawfish with medium to large crawfish, the little ones get mushy and are very hard to peel, and fall apart with the shell. $5 for added broccoli, which appeared to be frozen, thawed broccoli that turned to mush when cooked with the crawfish. When I got home, I added MSG and Old Bay seasoning to the bag, so hopefully it will taste better later. (I peeled all the crawfish there to make eating later easier and less messy.) You can buy a pound of frozen crawfish tails from Louisiana for $25 and get a ton more meat, much higher quality meat. $3.50 for a Diet Coke and $1.00 per refill. That is criminal pricing for the item on your menu with the highest margin of profit, and they do not tell you beforehand that refills are extra. And the waitress was so reluctant to get me refills, at one point, I had to walk to the counter to get a refill. They were not super busy, but she (the owner) was the only person working the front of the house. Three not very large sodas for $5.50 total... Circle K sells a 44-ounce soda for $1, tax included, and I am sure they still make a profit. Angel (the owner) was super friendly except for when asking for refills, but took a really long time to get back to me for anything. It was nice that she brought the check to the table and took my payment there instead of at the counter, since I walk with a cane. But no amount of friendliness, cleanliness, or nice decor will overcome bad food, especially at these prices.
