    Birria Ramen

Be adventurous, go inside!! The setup is great for small or larger groups. Be adventurous, try something you wouldn't normally try (like RAMEN at a Mexican restaurant) and something that you normally would try (like the quesa birria tacos)!! The food was SO GOOD!! The carne asada fries, the creamy guac, the HORCHATA! And that wild Ramen dish, OK!! The staff was also accommodating and kind - kid friendly and patient with us. Do yourself a favor and get a lil sweet treat at the end of the meal too! We can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

Better than expected in a food-court! The Baja Shrimp Taco was as good as I have had anywhere, and the Chicken Quesadilla was tasty and HUGE! Street Tacos are admittedly hard to mess up, but these were very good - with fresh meat, O & C! My wife & I may eat there again!

WHAT A GEM!!!!! in an outlet foodcourt nonetheless i am shocked!!! Try the quesibirria taco and you will NOT be disappointed. The consume is the perfect cocktail to the cheesy beefy taco. Maries tacos is feed my soul, smiling ear to ear, and doing a happy dance while eating type of food! Ask for spicy red sauce and ooooooh baby, what a nice kick on the palette. To cool off from the heaf, the agua fresca is the perfect beverage! They switch out flavors, I tried watermelon and mango-- both super fresh and not too sweet. This is a true small family business, the daughter helps on the register & the dad makes these tacos-- ordering from them instead your typical mall food aka Charleys , makes a big difference. Support local and try Maries tacos, you will not regret it.

I had no idea I ordered from here before but I have to say my latest experience was fairly lackluster and probably won't have me going back. Being the hungry pregnant person that I am, I go a mad craving for nachos and figured I would try Marie's! As always Postmates conned me with a deal so I figured I would order a few things giving me a great sampling of the menu and I can save my leftovers for my dear husband who bless his heart is my leftover king lol. Anyways nachos...severe disappointment. They use a fake nacho cheese you can expect to find at like Taco Bell instead of real melted cheese...honest question? Does anyone actually prefer that? Cuz I find it hard to believe. Furthermore when doing delivery naturally that kind of cheese is going to get soggy faster so it was really just a soggy mess when I arrived. I had a few bites, let Oliver (the cat) have a few bites, and then into the trash it went. Sad face. So luckily I did order more or I would have Been preeeetty sad. I got the cali burrito with Alfie and insta in mind, knowing he loves carne, and maybe it would make a good shot for insta. It looks ok, but after having a bite I would say the meat is a bit gristley. I tend not to order carne for this reason. One bite was enough. Into the refrigerator and we shall see if he enjoys it later. Street tacos were definitely the best thing though I will say they were still lacking in flavor. Red salsa brought some heat but again lacking in flavor. It's almost as if they forgot to salt their stuff today because it was meh. Still ate three tacos cuz Hank and I are hungry but it did leave me wishing there was more overall flavor going on here. Oh well. And fruit cup. Honestly a rip off haha. Like $7 for a few pieces of cucumber, pineapple, and watermelon. Didn't look pretty like the photos (again why I got it for a hopeful insta photo) but oh well. Would definitely never order this again, I suggest you only consider it If you're dining in. All in all, as I couldn't remember ordering here before I'm guessing it didn't stand out previously and definitely didn't win any awards this time, I probably won't be giving poor old Marie another shot. Need to check out some other spots in the neighborhood.

I have driven by this place about a million times and just realized it was there. Expect no frills. This is a hole in the wall taco spot but the tacos are amazing. We arrived on a Thursday around 7 and we were the only ones in the place and we received some of the best customer service I've ever had. Super accommodating and the chicken was seasoned so frickin good! I will be thinking about that chicken.... Wish they had a little more to their menu but I can't complain about the tacos!

Ordered to go. The hot dog I ordered hit the spot since I was craving elotes but wanted a little more than just corn lol. The tacos were not the best I ever had but I'd like to go back and get some of the dessert and fruit stuff especially in the summer.

Wish I took the picture before I ate:(

After reading other reviews and checking out photos beforehand, I knew the Colorado lamb was a must-order. It's not something I usually go for, but it ended up being my favorite dish of the night. Absolutely worth the hype. We also ordered the birria short rib and hickory smoked picanha, and both were solid choices. The shrimp and corn grits were amazing, and I really loved the aged cheddar mac and cheese. Other dishes like the chickpea croquettes and the chili relleno were also pretty good and rounded out the meal nicely. The wait staff was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself has a cool, lively vibe. The only minor downside was that the outdoor heaters were a bit too hot, but that's a very small nitpick. Overall, an easy 5 out of 5 stars. Great food, great service, and a place I'd happily come back to.

For an appetizer, two meats, two sides, and dessert, our total came out to $88, which felt like a great value for the quality. Overall, it left a really good impression and we'd definitely come back again.

The restaurant was not busy and the one waitress was MIA during most of the service. We studied the menu and started with a smoked fish dip. This was unique with aioli, cilantro, pickled jalepenos, lemon and over-the-top plantain chips. I easily could of eaten a huge bowl of the plantain chips, incredible! The sweet corn empanada with aji amarillo, avocado puree, manchego cheese and chimichurri that was light, savory and a nice flavor profile. Our final selection was the Cusco chicken sandwich with sweet plantains, salad, avacado and chimichurri aioli. The plantain was delicious and woke up an ordinary chicken sandwich. It was a great addition. I enjoyed our lunch but feel that I need to try the dinner menu. The mixing of fruit with entrees was a welcome change. To the kitchen at Toro, keep up the innovative menu.

So, we decided to take him for a relaxing evening for some "home cooking;" his dad is from Colombia. I'd driven by this place for years, always thought it was cute, but never had been in to try it out. Well, the inside is even cuter than the curbside! We were quickly greeted and shown to a table. It was around 8 on a Friday night. The service was just what my friend's dad needed, joking around in Spanish and answering random questions that an older person might have when seeing food they grew up with and hadn't seen in a while... and, then, the food. I'm not familiar with Colombian cuisine, so I wanted to try something traditional. The presentation was sizable and I really like color on a plate. Then, it was flavorful and filling?! YUM. We walked out of the experience laughing and purely delighted at having had a great night in sharing a unique experience. Strongly suggest folks swinging through, when you're in the neighborhood... or, give yourself a special occasion and make a trip!
