Carne Asada
Ed D.

This place is really big with nice Mexican decor. We were able to get seating right away on a weeknight for dinner. Our waitress was super friendly and she gave us very good service. I got the carne asada and my friend got the enchiladas. The carne asada was so good...the skirt steak was nicely done and had very good flavor. The portions were sizable so u definitely will get full. I also got an horchata for a drink. Prices weren't bad.

The Original Margarita

We had an outstanding first visit to this location. From the moment we entered the restaurant, Alejandro welcomed us warmly and throughout our meal, made us feel like family. If you like well-balanced margaritas on ice with minimal sweetness, The Original Margarita is perfect. It's served in a cocktail shaker with a strainer on top, so you can refresh your drink when you're ready for more. One of the best margaritas I've had outside of our home. And it's a bargain on the Happy Hour menu at only $8.00! The chips and salsa were delicious. They have a spicy habanero salsa available upon request. We enjoyed the chicken taquitos and crispy chile rellenos immensely! The rellenos are served egg-roll style and have a warm salsa for dunking on the side -- crunchy, mildly spicy, with gooey melted cheese! So, so good. Not to be missed. Thank you, Alejandro, for turning a crazy day into a positively memorable one.

Guacamole - made table side

We stopped into the 3 margaritas at orchard Mall after an exhausting day of Christmas shopping. Boy was this needed, and we were not disappointed! We sat up at the bar and the manager, Adrian, was able to give us a hand right away. We felt bad because we had absolutely interrupted him with allergy related questions but he was just incredible and made this a 1 of a kind experience. We tried the picante margaritas and guacamole to start- and our chips came with a homemade Molcajete salsa since I can't have cilantro. The quacamole was made table side with a lime that had been seasoned with a spicy seasoning. It was unbelievable. The molcajete sauce is made from multiple types of peppers That have been roasted and beautifully blended with roasted garlic and tomatilla. To top it off, I had the fish tacos (off menu) which consisted of grilled tilapia on flour tortillas with beans, rice, and garnishes. Adrian brought out some fresh roasted jalapeños as well to top it off. If you have a chance- please sit up at the bar- and hopefully you have Alejandro and Juan serving you. They make the experience great and have amazing suggestions, on and off the menu. Not to mention, my boyfriend was delighted when we all cheered the Army beating the Navy with a free shot for everyone at the bar! This is a fun spot to go to after a day of shopping, stopping in for dinner or just grabbing happy hour before a movie at the AMC theater. They have happy hour everyday from 3-6 pm and 9pm-close. Not to mention- this is very much a family owned and operated business and the service still reflects this! The 3 guys who started the 3 margaritas are still connected to the business. The bar tender Alejandro and the manager Adrian are the nephews of the owners. And if you are lucky, you can see their mom checking in on tables as well!

The plate is almost $18 and half the size it used to be. You get two small enchiladas and it's good but you feel ripped off. The mole is sweet and looks like red sauce. You can see the difference between the two pictures. The almost eaten picture is a past picture. I went almost a year ago and a year later the lunch size is $18 at dinner time. The service was ok and the quality has gone down hill. Maybe a different location is better.

One of the only queso blancos we've found in Denver. And the service is amazing. It's usually pretty busy and we always get a table fast.

YOU HAD ME AT PIE I…read moredrove 1 hour and 22 minutes to meet a friend here and it was worth the time and price of gas! SERIOUSLY! Don't underestimate PIE...LEGACY PIE as a reward for yourself no matter how far you need to drive to get there!! Do I have pictures? Sadly no. I gobbled my cherry hand pie down so fast that my Grandma Lucile would have chastised me for my rude behavior! My friend ordered the chicken pot pie and it looked so yummy I bought one to take home to my husband. I enjoyed the curry hand pie and boy - what a fantastic flavor in pie crust! Double Yum! My only regret today is I didn't buy a few more mini pies to take home to my freezer! Way to go small business! #pieisawayoflife PS The store is very cute and decorated with fun little gifts or treats you could make as a hostess gift when you stop to get a pie to bring for dessert. #DontwalkRUN!

I tried the hot and read buffalo chicken sandwich, and the pork green chile. I thought both were good. Definitely more emphasis on the bread in these than you would get somewhere else, but that is to be expected with it being a pie shop. I liked the pork a little bit more. They were more filling than I expected but also I didn't think about how much bread there was until after. Also got the key lime pie for dessert later in the day which I loved. Good amount of whipped cream, and had great flavor. Not too crumbly on the crust either. And finally I did get the take and bake chicken pot pie. Which I thought was excellent. Fair value for the size, I think. The large got me 3 meals but probably could have stretched it to 4. But it was so good that I just kept eating more. Had good amounts of chicken in it and good ratio with the veggies. I would definitely return here. Would definitely get the pot pies and key lime pie again. I wouldn't go out of my way to get them, but if I was in the area and needing something quick and easy to eat, I would get 1 of the hot and ready sandwiches too - I thought they were fairly priced too.

They have flavorful buns both sweet and savory as well as many other baked goods that you would hope to get at a bakery like this. I have to immediately jump to the beef curry bun. It comes warm and it is super flavorful. It is now hard to think about going back here without picking up this bun. I know they had a vegetarian curry bun when I was there too but I have yet to try it. I also tried the passionfruit mochi donut and thought it was the best mochi donut I have had. The fruit flavor was perfectly sweet and tart and the mochi was chewy without being unyielding. I have not gone back to try their drinks but I know they have a menu for coffees and teas. They also have a punch card system so make sure you save that when you go and make purchases. It is a small location and they might be a bit busy but they always are going fast. I will go back lots more from here on out.
