I do not recommend this place. They have fuck up my order twice. I have called in for my order and pick up half and hour later and they said that they haven't started. I again order but the time online I placed the order at 9:38am. Have its 30 minutes and tried to pick it up at 10:20 and when I showed up. The lady with the gasses said that they just receiving my order. Wtf an hour later and still no order. Done wasting my time with this unprofessional restaurant, the lady was super rude about it as well. Do not recommend this place even though it's delicious. I saw on someone's Instagram post a video of their burritos at Riccos and decided to add it to our list for our office. We like to try new breakfast burritos and compare them to see which are the best in the Denver metro area. I ordered the badger with sausage. When it arrived (a co-worker picked up our order) it was smothered and had the eggs on top. I was a bit confused seeing how the IG post I saw had the eggs and chili inside making the burrito to be handheld, not using a fork and knife. But regardless I dived in to see what this burrito was all about. The eggs were a bit over cooked, as they didn't run at all. I would have liked them to be runny. The green chile was sooo spicy. I got the medium and it was a bit too much for me. I can handle some spice but this was rough. Made me sweat a bit and opened some sinuses. The sausage and potatoes were good, but again would have been better with the other stuff inside. Oh and it was GIANT. It was a huge burrito and will be leftovers. Overall, I think it tasted good, but we have others have have been way better in my opinion. Glad I tried it though. read more

The burritos are also grilled which is delish. These burritos were awesome and super filling. Sadly where I am from in Miami we don't have a ton of burrito options, so every time I travel more west I always have to get my fix. These are also huge for the price - each one is about $5.50 - $6.50 and you def do not need even a whole one per person. Would totally reccomend it. read more

We happened upon this place by accident. The menu is extensive, and the burritos are excellent! Make sure you have enough time, as it took a few for us to receive our burritos. I had the Plain Jane, which consists of eggs, potatoes, and peppers. I ordered the spice level "hot", and dang was it good. My husband ordered the Willy B, medium. It was stuffed full of meat. There is a large and small option. We ordered the small, and it was a ton of food! Both of us cannot wait to return to try other menu items. The folks working here were friendly and efficient. You can opt for a soft burrito or grilled. This is a thoughtful option as a grilled burrito provides much needed texture. I ordered a potato, egg and cheese with medium green chile. My burrito was stuffed with deep fried potato squares and it was overwhelmingly filled with them. After eating a few bites, I ripped open the burrito to find that there was no discernible egg or cheese. If you want deep fried potatoes covered in green chile in burrito form, this is the place to come for that. I wouldn't bill this place as a restaurant that serves breakfast burritos. My tortilla disintegrated as I was eating it which was bizarre. I am glad I tried this place as my visit quelled my curiosity but I have no plans to return. After consuming maybe a quarter of the burrito, the remainder was discarded. I longed for better balance that included discernible egg and cheese. I ordered from Uber. We got the pigs in a blanket mild chili and the country with sausage. Both are delicious. Potatoes and chili are seasoned and tasty, sausage is good the bacon crispy. The tortillas were grilled so they didn't get soggy. These are also pretty hefty sized burritos. Price is incredibly reasonable for the amount of food you get. My only complaint is not a lot of egg. Service is terrible and slow. They'll make you wait for 10 minutes just to get someone at the register. After ordering on multiple occasions I've waited up to 55 MINS for my order. Nothing crazy. Usually a burrito and drink. I've waited shorter times at fine dining sit down restaurants. Their excuse every time is that their fries took longer than usual, but unless their cutting and peeling their own potatoes, fries don't take an HOUR to make. Not the first time they've done this. This is the second Riccos location I have been to. Overall, I prefer the Aurora location for cleanliness and food. The employees were very nice and were attentive. This location in particular gave me a not so warm burrito but I believe it was because I have only been here within 30 mins of closing but even then, you should always be sprinting to the finish line even if that means serving your food hot. I didn't appreciate the grease smell as soon as you step in. It is a little unappetizing but that should be an easy fix by doing some deep cleaning and cleaning greasy areas. I have only ever had the Big Louie because when I get a breakfast burrito anywhere, I prefer bacon. The burrito was a solid 3. I have had worse and I have had better. I may return to Riccos again to see if anything is different with a hot burrito. read more

We ordered the Mexicali kid and the Ricco rancho. The menu stated the Mexicali came with ground beef, cheese, refried beans and green chili. It was missing the ground beef and cheese. The ricco rancho stated on the menu it has green chili, cheese, bacon and chicken. It was missing the chicken and cheese. Green chili had a good flavor, and the tortillas were tasty. My first time ever going here my husband's been here a few times he loves it I liked it. When we went they weren't busy and our food did still take a while to come out. Other than that the guy who owned it took our water and was super friendly and made us feel comfortable. It is a small restaurant with 3 or 4 tables. The beans were watery, bland and Luke warm. The chicken had a nice char on it but there wasn't enough on my burrito to compensate for the beans. Nor was there enough cheese to compensate for the lack of flavor. There was heat..coming from the green chili I imagine, although I could not visibly see any green chili, I just had to take their word it was on there. Also I was given the burrito with no salt or salsa, both of which it needed desperately. I passed up a Taco Bell on the way to this place but in hindsight I should have just went to Taco Bell. At least the bell has salsa and I know what I'm getting. Two thumbs down. Hopefully these people will figure out their beans situation. I get better flavor out of a can of beans. I went in with a friend and before I ordered my food I said this place is going to be bad. I know that because it smells like nothing in here. There should be meat cooking in the kitchen. I should see smoke and smells the wonderful aromas of Mexican food, and I'm getting nothing. And i was right. It's one of many tail tail signs. Also you can look to see if the place is filled completely with senior citizens, another dead give away. This is definitely a "hole in the wall" 5 star rating. This is a pretty lean shop... as in... the-cashier-is-also-the-delivery-person-and-the-cook-will-cover-for-her-while-she-is-gone-type-lean. Both employees were very nice! Because of the lack of staff, the front of the house was a little on the messy side. However, the kitchen is viewable and it was very clean. Now to the burrito... I had the "Plain Jane" with the vegetarian green chili - hot. What a surprise!! The burrito was grilled and soooo delicious! The beans and green chili were quite tasty with a nice amount of heat. I observed the lady making burritos with gloves on ALSO cash people out with gloves on and go back to making burritos without changing gloves. This is total cross contamination. Lookin for a good breakfast burrito this morning and came accross Riccos Burritos.. The menu is different and somewhat hard to read.. They have names for every burrito / product they sell. i.e., "Mataratz" so for a newcomer it's just a little awkward. After my order ..(ordered the Mataratz... chile, cheese, eggs, potato, sausage, chorizo) it's a whopping 5 bucks! I expected to get a pretty large burrito.. As my burrito arrived it looked alittle flat.. this is due to the grill marks, yes it's a grilled burrito.. That's fine w/ me because if you commute and need to eat in the car it keeps all the ingredients in. The burrito was pretty good, with all the chile cheese and meat.. although I'm a big guy I should have got 2, but that would have run me over 10 duckets.. so I rolled w/ one..
