Moved here from Texas and had yet to find a solid burrito until Limon y Sal. It's been 2 weeks and we've already eaten here 3x. The lunch burrito is delicious!!! Cheaper than chipotle and as big as your face, all wrapped in a FRESH tortilla with grilled cheese. I've ordered both Steak and Birria Burritos. Although I didn't care for the quality of the steak, I did prefer the ratio of ingredients with the steak as opposed to the birria. Birria had better flavor but the quantity of meat (also a plus) overpowered the rest of the delicious ingredients. That said, I'd choose the steak again next time. I'm so happy I found this place by my house!! Everything we ate was absolutely amazing. Even the cut up vegetables tasted fresh! It's one of those places where you are full but you can't stop eating. The service was great as well. She was so attentive to us the whole time. The vibes inside are cute too. It's a smallish place but big enough to bring your family over for dinner or lunch! Partner and I went to dine in at Limon y Sal on a whim and it was the best whim to ever whim. In fact we got take out again two days later (which was just as great)! That first night we shared the queso and chips to start. The queso reminded me of upscale nacho cheese in the consistency and taste, which I liked, but something to note since it's different. I got the mango jalapeño marg and he got a modelo. The margarita came with a sucker on top which I happily enjoyed until the rest of our food came. At main course time he got steak tacos and I got the chilaquiles. He kept saying how great the steak was and I really got down on mine too. Needless to say, this is our new go to, we'll be in there like swimwear from here on out. read more

Went here because I was curious since I drive everyday past it to go to work... instant regret. I bought Mexican corn, a chicken quesadilla, quesabirrias tacos and al pastor burrito with my bill totaling $60 dollars (which is OUTRAGEOUS) the food was not great.. my burrito was filled with rice and beans and barely any meat, quesabirrias were bland and the rest wasn't not impressive at all. Sadly a waste of $60 that I could've used to make better tacos at home. read more

This place is great. The food is a little more expensive than other Mexican restaurants, but I didn't mind the cost as the portion sizes were substantial and the quality of the ingredients was top notch. The flavors were authentic and the birria was some of the best that I've had in the metro area. The ladies who were working were so kind and welcoming. The restaurant was also very clean. What I liked the most about the experience was Antonia's and Josefina's service, since we came into the place the greeted us with smiles and made us feel welcome. This place is AMAZING. Best tacos in Thornton! I tried the Birria tacos, which comes with onion, cilantro, cheese, and lettuce. Also, they include this delicious red and green salsa. I usually work while eating, but once I took that first bite of taco, I knew I needed an actual lunch break because these tacos require total focus. They are that delicious. Also, make sure to order the churros. They are mouthwatering! I also got a breakfast burrito for tomorrow, but it's huge so you definitely get your money's worth. When you walk in you are greeted from behind the counter. It's an industrial look, reclaimed wood, concrete and a chilly temperature. I came to try the birria quesatacos with consomé. Add cilantro, onions and a medium salsa. Oh yeah! Don't forget a cold beverage. I have a seat next to the giant windows and watch the traffic go by. Before I know it, I'm greeted by a friendly Hispanic woman. She reminds me of the many kitchens of family members of mine. It feels like you've stopped into an aunt's house for a quick lunch. The first bite needs to be dipped into the consumé. When the juices run onto your lips the warm broth greets your palate. It's rich in flavor and light in consistency. The cheese and meat come afterwards and give the bite a substantial weight. I fell in love. The order of 3 tacos was more than enough for me. I took one home. I have never tried birria tacos before and I have tried other places since. Nobody's tacos have come close so far. I am going here for the my quesotacos and they also have great menudo too. Holy nuclear salsa heaven! Popped in for carry out while in Denver running from doctor to doctor. I use Yelp! to help me find exactly this kind of place. A hole in the wall, strip mall oasis with authentic Mexican food. I had the tacos al pastor and mi madre had the tacos with the consommé. All food is legit. Sooo delicious! We also got some of the best horchata I've ever had and a fresh juice from carrots and oranges. My partner and I were craving tacos. We've driven by this little hole in the wall taqueria and decided to pick up dinner. He got tacos Al pastor and I got the birria quesadilla tacos. Chips and salsa, horchata and a churro to split. The woman on the phone was so kind and sweet. Food was ready in 15 minutes, and while a bit spendy for tacos, we both thought it was worth the price. They offer mild, medium and spicy and I felt like they stay true to spice level. I had medium and my partner had hot, which was right on the line of "too hot" for me, but perfect for spicy lovers. Chips were thick and crunchy, salsa delicious. Loved their green salsa but the highlight was the birria quesadilla tacos. Crispy, cheesy, plenty of meat. The consume was ‍. I had the Birria queso tacos which come filled with yummy meat and lots of cheesy goodness and a giant bowl of consommé for dipping. I also had to try the posole as I love it and Anna said it's one of her best sellers. I can see why!! She will add in cabbage or lettuce whichever you prefer. My hubby had the al pastor burrito. He said it was delicious and huge! He loves spicy and she offered up some of her extra spicy salsa for him and he devoured it. She also offers a type of taco that you might not be familiar with due to its regional specialty, tacos de canasta! These little tacos were filled with a mixture of potatoes and chorizo. They come with a pickled carrot that you eat before you take a bite and cabbage that you put inside the taco. Such interesting flavors!! I can't wait to go back and check out more of the menu.
