I have been a customer of Beyond for about a year. I have been satisfied with the job they have done on my nails. I get the SNS type of nails. My complaint is with the unfair price I was charged for the nail job I had done on Wednesday, December 12. I asked for a basic solid red polish but asked if she could add some glitter on the top of the last coat. She added one little dusting over each nail. We did not discuss cost but I figured it would be a little extra but she charged me $50 for what she did which is almost the cost of two complete nail jobs. I don't appreciate the way I was not told until she handed me the receipt. All she did was sprinkle a little glitter!!! Be sure you ask and know the price before you have anything done! read more

The WORST pedicure ever!! I gave this place a second chance and they blew it! I'll never be back...I will continue to drive all the way to Pflugerville. If you have dry, callused heels, why would you not get it taken care of to make your customer happy? Even when it's brought to their attention. Very disappointed!! Now I'll go to Pflugerville and pay for a pedicure again...but at least they will do it right! read more

I went to Elgin to visit a friend and was in terrible need of a manicure. I found this place on Google and loved the fact that they opened early at 9:00 A.M. I was immediately seated and Nina - went to work. She was so gentle as I have horrible cuticles and many times the techs will literally make me bleed. She was awesome. And the shop was beautiful. Very clean, modern and lots of drink options. Too bad it was too early to have a marg! Plus so many different colors to choose from. I live in Austin - close to P'ville and the last two times I went to my regular place I was sorely disappointed. So I might be driving to Elgin for my nail appointments. Elgin also has so many cute shops and an awesome Italian restaurant and it's nice to get out of crazy Austin traffic. read more

I liked my nails but they are price vouchers I will never go there again. First they only show you the most expensive services, then, they ask you for a color. I had been going to another salon in Elgin prior to Beyond Nails opening... they were ok - but my last experience with them opened new doors to this place - so glad it happened too because these gal's and gent are FANTASTIC - lets face it, there aren't a lot of places to choose from in Elgin - if you go in on a Saturday or Sunday, guess what - so is everyone else! Pick an off day with no wait. Deluxe Pedis done the RIGHT way! $45 includes: Chair massage, foot soak, leg and foot exfoliating, foot and leg massage, treatment on legs and feet - warm towel wrap and paraffin foot soak. Anna did my nails and it's the best SNS set I've ever had! She clipped my cuticles, filed them perfectly, and worked super fast. And not to mention it is super affordable! I would love to give 0 starts!!! Went there to get a new set, the guy didn't removed all the acrylic and went on to put SNS over it. He put tips didn't cut them right I had to tell him they were uneven the shape was bad, he cut one tip to much and instead of putting a new one he thin out the tip and place another one over it, who the hell does that, not once during my service did he brush my nails or hands not once, he place product over the excess powder. The salon itself is new and beautiful, so you would expect quality. But after giving them about 4 tries, I'm moving to another salon. They rush, try to up sell you continuously, and don't do a very good job on nails, toes or eyebrows. This place has a lot of potential but the mgmt should have their staff focus on providing high quality service. read more

Went today for my first nail appointment since the pandemic hit. Was so excited to get my nails done. The woman that did mine was not friendly, grabbed my hands very rudely. Didn't listen to what I asked for (thin SNS) and reprimanded me when I asked her to make them thinner. Was on the phone while filing my nails. My nails look terrible. Very crooked and one hand had longer nails other hand shorter. I most definitely could have done a better job doing them myself at home with zero experience. So disappointed. Will not be returning here. I think they have tons of business that they could care less if they lose one customer. I've never complained before at a nail salon but they were bad enough I spoke up for the first time and not in a rude way at all. I had planned to get a pedicure too but after that experience I was completely ready to leave and not give them any more money. I would not recommend them. read more

I have been going to beyond nails and spa since they opened. Most the ladies do a great job. It's the new manager answers the phone and makes appointments BADLY. Every time he has answered the phone when I called he is rude and/ or my appt is wrong. I hate to say I won't go back because Savannah does such a great job but if he is still working there I can't keep going. I asked to talk to someone else. He refused. Basically told me to take my business elsewhere. Last time l was there I waited two hours after my appointment time to be served. Two members of my party of 4 waited another 45 minutes before they were helped. Bad Service...Bad Bad Bad. read more

I have gone to this place several times now and waited that many just to write a fair review. The first time I went was kinda rocky. The nail polish color I chose was older and clumped up on my toes but they fixed it with no problem. I got my sns and was satisfied with the result but not overly so. The last two times I had David for my pedi and Lilly for my sns( second time requested them) these two are amazing! I get the deluxe pedi which always lasts at least an hr and the sns nails with tips until my natural nails grow out. David is very thorough with the pedi and is very polite. Lilly does fabulous nails shes very detail oriented I'd venture to say a perfectionist and she gets them even and on point every time. The color choice is phenomenal. I'd recommend making an appt because being one of the very few places in the area that are good they get booked up go on a weekday if possible! Excellent service always friendly and very attentive. I am new the world of manicures so am a bit "green" to the ins & outs of the business. My first two manicures were good although I felt uncomfortable that all of the employees seemed to talk among themselves in their foreign language the whole time. My third & last "manicure" was disturbing. I was given a male nail tech who didn't even give me an actual manicure. He just filed my nails & painted them while watching what every one else was doing. He literally looked around the room while working on my nails. Much worse than that, his fingernails were literally caked with dirt. He looked like he just came in from working in the yard(without gloves). I felt very uncomfortable around him & just wanted our session to be over so I could get away from him. The customer sitting beside me had her little girl with her & she accidentally knocked a bottle of nail polish off the table & it broke. My nail tech kept glaring at the mother over his glasses & talking (in his native language). He wasn't paying attention to what he was doing with my nails at all. I didn't say anything to him about not trimming my nails or cuticles simply because his hands were so nasty. I just paid my bill & left. When I got home, I noticed that there was nail polish in various places on my hands! I was so angry about the whole ordeal & considered calling the manager or owner to complain. The employees I have encountered acted like they hardly understood anything I said to them so doubted that my phone call would do any good at all. This salon came highly recommended. I may be new to the manicure idea but am not new to the knowledge of what good customer consists of. After three visits to this establishment, I cannot in good conscience recommend this salon to anyone. read more
