I was recommended this nail salon by a coworker. I've been looking and trying out different nail salons and let me tell you, this is it. It is by far the best one I've found. It's clean, and you can tell that it is run very well and they are not cutting corners with anything. You must have an appointment, because if they're booked for the day, they do not have time to "squeeze" you in and lower the quality of the service a customer receives. I personally saw two ladies walk out because of this, but it's a good thing because it shows that they care about their work and their customers. The entire time of my appointment, I did not feel rushed or feel like they had to get to the next customer and get rid of me. That was just the customer experience. *chef's kiss* Now for my nails. I am obsessed with my nails. Ashley did an amazing job. I showed her how my middle finger on my left hand the nail grows weird so it's never uniform with the rest. We'll let me tell you! Nothing short of fabulous!!! The staff were so personable, friendly, and accommodating. The services provided (I got a dip manicure and a Lion's Roar pedicure) were phenomenal. Regardless of it's good reviews, what is the most important is customer service, which Eve lacked in the worst way. For starters, when you book your appointment online, she goes in and changes the time. I thought there was some type of glitch in the system at first, until a friend of mine told me that today, Eve moved her appointment up 2 hours early as well. I called an hour ahead to inform them that I was coming in at my original time, and I would be there at 4. The lady who answered the phone advised me that it was no problem, and she would pass the message along. After a 45 min drive, I get there and was told I would not be seen because I was not there at 3:45 (not the time I even booked!) on top of that, they were already charging me a no show fee, AFTER I informed I was on the way, and advised on what time! If that was an issue, someone should have told me not to come instead of saying it was ok. I told Eve how I communicated with her staff everything that had been going on, and that I drove 45 min for this appointment. She offered nothing to rectify the situation, and told me she was not doing my nails. I have never in my life had an experience like this with a nail tech. Thankfully I was lucky to come across Tom, at LC nails 3 miles away, who slayed my nails, and gave me the best customer service. So at least one good thing came out of this dreadful experience. If you book with Eve, double check your appointment the day before. She may switch up on you, and charge you when you're not there at HER time. I at least got my money returned. My time is valuable to and I book a week ahead for a reason. Not worth going back. Update, the owner called to correct the situation. Honestly I was really excited to try this place but it was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. first they couldnt do what I wanted when I know they have done it before and then when I picked a dip color it didn't work when they put it on my nails. then I picked two more and they couldn't do those either so they picked my nail color for me which I didn't want. my appointment was at 4pm and we didn't leave until 8 pm. they charged me $45 just to paint my 4 year olds nails. my bill was $140 just for dip nails, a pedicure and my daughters nails painted with regular polish. the worst part is 2 days later and 5 of my nails are already chipped and they missed my pinky toe nail and didn't paint it. read more

I've been here twice now and this second time... my nails were done so fast and perfectly how I wanted them! I wanted a nice oval shape so they weren't sharp.The color is beautiful and she picked it out! Eve was such a pro. She got me in and out in less than an hour. I love that the girls here are just chill. I will ask for Eve every time because that was the best nail service I've had! I appreciate a quick service when I have a new born baby at home. Someone spoke highly of this place on our neighborhood website in Bastrop, and being new to the town, I thought I would try it. It was the worst pedicure I have ever had. Not only are they very unprofessional, nothing about it was a pleasant experience. The nail techs have very long nails and it's comical watching them try to hold the pedicure tools. There was one nail tech who kept vaping while doing her clients nails and one sitting on the floor putting together an office chair. There were no TVs, the music was very inappropriate, and there were no nail drying stations. When I called to make the appointment she told me the mid range pedicure was $54. My pedicure was over before I knew it. It consisted of Pushing back the cuticles and making me bleed twice, cutting down my nails and clipping the skin around them. She was about to insert the foam thing between my toes to polish them when she remembered the lotion. She rubbed the bottom of each foot for about two minutes each and then went on to polish them. I thought maybe the hot towels, massage, Etc would come next. Nope! She said she was finished. I argued about the price, claiming I Only got the most basic of basic pedicures and she told me she had to charge me $10 for removing my polish. This is the first time I have ever left a place without tipping and when I called back to check, they said there was no charge to remove polish unless it was gel from another salon. Mine was not. Do not make the same mistake I did! Stay away. read more

Nice staff and very pretty inside but I booked for one person, paid a deposit to book with them and got someone else. She was sweet and tried very hard to give me what I asked for even offerd to have me wait for a more skilled tech, my time was up and I needed to leave so I could not wait. I'd go back for a basic manicure but I just don't think the skill level is there yet for this place. I'm sad about this because I was very hopeful that I could make this place a regular for me. I got a manicure and wanted rose gold chrome on my nails. The shaping was very well and the paint is smooth. The rose gold came out lumpy, I also have paint on my skin near the nail. By Far the worst nail salon I have ever experience. I only gave 1 star because I was unable to rate with 0. I took my daughter for a day out to get our nails done and we sat in the chair for 4 hours while they repeatedly glued and removed the plastic nails to fit them to our nails. Then when we thought we were finally through, we had to have them repaired again because of the low quality of work they did. The paint was blotchy and you could see through the brush strokes, the nail tech demolished my nail beds and then when I told her it was painful she continued to try and file the same sore nail. It was the worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon. my nails were sore for days afterwards and so were my daughters. the nail techs were inexperienced and unprofessional. I was flabbergasted after all was said and done, they charged me $110 for 2 sets of terrible nails & irreplaceable damage to my nail beds and the entire day that was supposed to be a fun day out with my daughter that I will never get back. I live in smithville so if I wanted to get a nice set or pedicure I would have to go to Austin to get the designs I wanted.
