I told her I wanted a thinner, more natural-looking nails, and she suggested starting fresh with a new set. She was so efficient--removing my old nails and completing a brand-new set in what felt like no time, all while paying attention to every detail. This was my first time getting a pedicure so I didn't really have any expectations. I'm not a frilly type of person so these extras are not something I do. I was treated by my family today. I tell you that so you understand that I don't have much experience. Maybe this is usual, it started off good, tickled, but good, however then she switched out and I got an extremely young girl who was "learning". She was trying so hard but it was weird. I felt like I kept needing to tell her it was okay. So by the end I couldn't tell you if I truly like pedicures. I made a last minute appointment for a full acrylic set. I am rarely pleased with my nails from other places. Either they do a hurried job, won't care when I point out a flaw in the manicure, or just make my nails look big and clumpy. Today, I was very pleased! The young lady was very nice. Made conversation (which made me very relaxed). And the nails are beautiful! For the life of me, I can't remember her name. Young lady(had a name necklace on, that I think started with a "K") whom I was surprised she was old enough to know much about nails. She paid attention to what she was doing. DO NOT get waxed here! The woman sloppily put the wax all over my face instead of just my lip and ripped it off and I had a horrible reaction. I have had my lip waxed many times and never had a problem. Now I am having to spend more money to see a dermatologist and buy medicine to fix this but it still looks horrible. This was an amazing experience!!! I got a mani/pedi and the pedicure was the $36 one with Shellac on my toes. It felt so good and they did such a good job with the lotions/massage/polish job! I got a $20 manicure plus an ombré dip. It was pricier than I originally planned but I got A LOT done. Everyone was very nice and it was a pleasant atmosphere. Harmonie did my ombré nails and they are SO beautiful! I'm very please and I'll definitely be going there again. I was a walk in and got there right as they were opening. Been here a couple times now and have always had a phenomenal experience with kindness and professionalism. Not one knick, scratch , or went too deep on a nail train/ cleaning. Very clean establishment with tasteful decor and ambiance. Prices are average (I'm a man so I guess it's a good price?). I do not recommend getting waxed here. I came in for an eyebrow wax and 5 minutes after waxing, I noticed the technician had burned off skin on my eyelid. I actually had an appointment at a different salon and they canceled my appointment without telling me so I had to scramble to find a place. I called Saigon spa and nails and they said no problem we will take care of you and they did! I have been getting my nails done for the past 10 years. I have had fake tips put on each time. I just moved to Bastrop with my family and decided to try this place out. Very unprofessional, they completely ruined my nails and toes. The guy doing my manicure kept cutting me and making me bleed. Then saying "I'm so sorry" he had no idea how to do nails. I was terrified so I had someone else finish my nails. The owner called me to apologize and gave me a gift certificate for $75 after I spent $75 that visit. Rather than comping the visit I accepted the gift certificate instead. I just called today (less than 2 weeks later) to make an apt to use my gift certificate and give them another chance to fix my nails and they stated that I had to use my gift certificate within 3 days. Nowhere on the gift certificate does it say "use within 3 days". See attached picture. Very unprofessional place. Never coming back. I forgot to mention that when I was having issues during that visit I wasn't the only one complaining about the quality of this place. My sister and I went there for waxing today. We both got underarms, but she also got her eyebrows done. This was our 3rd time ever getting the underarms done, and I wish it was the first! The other place we got them done at was so painful she left me bruised, without even getting all the hair! But here, Tracy was amazing! As I was in for a pedicure they made a lady leave on because as she was getting her nails done she asked if they could get the side of her nail with the polish and they didn't understand what she meant and thought she was "unhappy with the service." So they asked her to leave. She was calm and didn't raise a tone or anything just was trying to understand why they didn't want to finish her nails. As I got seated by the dryer I noticed they don't clean that area... dust and bugs and they even have a note that says "please don't not throw trash away here place by the counter" probably because they don't clean that area. The staff there is friendly and accommodating. Had the gel nail manicure , basic pedicure and eyebrow wax. Total was $65. I love love love my manicure, and the gal was super attentive. My pedicure is nice as well, but I had a lot of areas of my foot that were still dry and cracked , even right after my pedicure. Y'all... I almost never write reviews and especially not poor ones, but I was so underwhelmed with my experience here. Full disclaimer I went in last minute. It was my 30th birthday yesterday and my husband said he'd pay for me to go get my nails done before dinner. I haven't had my nails done in years so I was like, heck yes! Looked around for a place with good reviews and called these folks around 4:45. They said it takes about 1.5 hours for a mani/pedi and they close at 7, so to get there around 5:30. I hurry to get ready and head that way (I live 30 minutes outside of Bastrop). I show up at 5:41 but I figure it's probably okay, if they end up having to stay an extra 10 minutes I'll tip them well. Well. The pedicure took for effing ever. By the time it was done, clock reads 6:52. I'm not kidding. Over and hour and ten minutes to get regular painted toes. And they don't even look great. There is dead skin all around my toes that wasn't tended to at all. I don't have pretty feet but I use a pumice stone twice a week so it's not like she did what she could -- it's like she didn't do anything to my toes. Except trim and file and paint. I'm so confused. I guess the bulk of the pedicure was lotions and stuff. I picked the best option thinking I'd get the best results. I was wrong. Just lots of time consuming towels and lotions and super subpar toes, cuticles and skin. Okay. Nail time. So as I said. I get in the chair for my nails 8 minutes before closing time. This isn't looking good. I consider telling them never mind, but at this point I'm thinking about how difficult it will be for me to come back at another time, being a working mother without childcare and my husband works crazy hours and it's an hour of driving to get there and back so I'm like.. this is my only opportunity to do this. I stick it out. I'm attaching pictures. I feel like they hurried which is to be expected but they didn't do any clean up of my cuticles. I admittedly have terrible cuticles but that's part of why I wanted to get them done. They still look jagged and raggedy and I don't even think he pushed them back or anything. Does that thumb look like a thumb that got done yesterday ? The paint doesn't even meet the cuticle. Also pieces of the glitter are sticking up out my nails. And the reference photo I showed them, which I pulled from their Facebook page, they acted like at first they couldn't do it. Then they used square glitter which imo is super masculine and very different than circle glitter. I wanted the glitter on all fingers but at this point it was taking so long and getting so late I told them to just do it to 2 on each hand. Then she tried to leave the part with glitter shiny and the bottom half of the nail matte. I was like.. what?? O.o Anyway I know it's most likely bc I came in an hour and 20 minutes till closing but I was told it would take about 1.5 hours. All told I was there until after 8. It took nearly 2.5 hours to get a pedicure and nails. I've never spent that long in a nail salon. After tip, I spent $130. For that amount of time, and that amount of money, these should've been the best damn nails I've ever had. Unfortunately, they are not. They look fine and no one is going to look at them and be like "man those nails suck!" But ::I:: know how little attention to detail was paid, and the condition my skin was left in when it should have been taken better care of. So it's v disappointing. The people were nice enough. The salon was clean. Decent atmosphere. But I'd say to make an appt with one of the most skilled technicians-- or if you pull a reference from their Facebook, find out who exactly did the work. Otherwise you'll feel awkward asking for it and you'll be left with mediocre at best results. read more

It was my first time and my last time coming to this place. I called and scheduled an appointment at 2pm. I arrived there exactly at 2pm. The nail tech that I got was an Asian male I dont know his name. I explained what I wanted but for some reason he did not understand. I even showed him a picture. He seemed like he didn't have experience since he didnt even suggest me anything. Then I was transferred to another Asian lady sitting towards the back room. When I showed her what I wanted she said she could do it. As she was starting she was going fast didn't even checked the length of my nails. It was so rushed and uncomfortable. She then got upset when I told her the glitter was not what I wanted and she said she didn't have it. I was so over it and frustrated that I just went with a solid color red. I have gone here for years but it seems like over the last few months they have hired people who have no idea what they're doing! I feel so horrible for the teenager who works her butt off to help the customers. A customer complained about the man messing up her nails with the wrong shape and they weren't even filed and the young girl replaced the man and helped. I just got my eye brows done and she made my right one shorter then then left. She said she was "arching it" but instead made them shorter . I wouldn't get my eyebrows done here !! She was taking a long time on one eyebrow (right) and took less time on the left one . She didn't even ask if she could arch it or anything she just told me and handed me the mirror. ( I would have liked if she had told me no, I have an appointment about to come in or giving me a wait time, instead of getting me in the chair and start doing my nails). She continues with my nails and I ask her if that's how they are supposed to look when it's done with dip powder since the "clear" part of the French tip looks like I have a bunch of tiny air bubbles in them (white little specs) she said yes.
