Anyway, we all had to try to color our own hair. Safely lifting and lightening and depositing color is not easy, whereas damaging hair is. Going into COVID, my stylist Shea McJagger had my hair in a healthy state in a very pretty sunny blonde color. Enter COVID and while locked in with my hair growing out, all I had access to was internet blogs and bad advice, and Sally's beauty supply. I started to bleach to lift, then tone with 40 developer, and my hair color shifted to platinum, which is great and can be pretty but it was unintended for me and was only because I didn't know what I was doing! As the lock down lifted I was able to see a stylist again and went to see Eric, hoping for my unintentional platinum to return to blonde. By luck Michael the owner of Turquoise overheard my concerns of itchy scalp and horrible hair loss and suggested I try Enjoy Holistic shampoo and conditioner because he felt like the pH of the Kevin Murphy Repair.Me.Wash that I had been using was perhaps not balanced. He also had me try Formula 18 mask which uses a polymer to keep strands of hair from rubbing together and being damaged and broken due to friction. I was losing so much hair and it was a disaster, all because of COVID and being locked down. Immediately after using these two products the constant fall and breakage stopped and there is new growth clearly visible. My color is returning to pretty natural blonde again. Thank you Eric for turning my color around. Both he and Michael know what they are doing with color and have skills with products that can help to repair damage done to your hair and scalp.

I've gone through stages where I've had pink and black hair, auburn hair, white blonde, etc. I've had my hair dark brown for the past two years now and decided I wanted to go back to my natural hair color (dirty blonde). I was a little hesitant for the change since I once went back to my natural color from red hair within one session and my hair was completely fried and took two months to finally feel manageable. Crystal took care of me when I went in back in December and I told her what I was wanting to do and she told me immediately that one session was not going to cut it since my hair would be damaged. I expected as much and was really grateful that she was up front about that instead of trying to do it all in one session. She was really nice to me and made me feel comfortable despite being hungover and barely able to function. I had a wedding to attend the day of getting my hair done and everyone complimented it. So while my hair wasn't entirely blonde, it was still beautiful and lightened enough for people to notice. I can't wait to make my next appointment to continue working on this mop of hair that I've got.

I arrived back to the salon after 15 minutes and waited. A half an hour after my appointment time my stylist was still working on the client she had in the chair. I asked her to cancel my appointment and I left. Not a good experience for a first time client. I won't be back.

When queried, I was informed by a stylist in the adjacent chair that Vicky was probably still at lunch. Before leaving this negative feedback I called the salon just to confirm that Vicky had not been involved in some serious situation that caused her to miss the appointment (no call from the salon with a sorry or explanation). I was told that Vicky had finally returned at around 2:00PM and she had been "delayed in traffic". I do not sure know why Vicky did not call to let anyone know she was running this late.
