I was visiting Smithville on a five day vacation, so I had sent Tracy a message to see if she could fit me in which she was able to. I went for the same thing I got last time which was a balayage and a trim. I love how Tracy uses natural products! My hair color seems to last forever, and it smells so good when she's done. Tracy does such a fantastic job on my hair, and she always makes sure I'm completely happy and comfortable the whole time. She's such a bubbly, friendly person! I love visiting with her while she's taking care of my hair. I love the vibe of her salon and how it's not cluttered or loud like a lot of other salons. We LOVE The Vanity Room! First of all, Tracy knows CURLS! Finding someone to layer me right isn't easy and since I found Tracy, I'm not going anywhere else! Her cuts are modern and easy to care for. They grow out perfectly, the cut keeps its shape and the curls stay curly. My husband comes with me now, he has longer hair and she gives him the perfect masculine rock & roll shag. So lucky to have stumbled across this salon. With a million salons in the valley, it really could get hard to find just the "right fit." If you are looking for a one stop shop you have found your place. The place is beautiful and Tracy has managed to make this place a relaxing sanctuary. I was devastated, sporting a hat because I came out of the last salon looking like my mother because my stylist said layers wouldn't look good on me when really she wasn't capable of doing my hair right. I visited this salon for the first time about a week ago to get balayage highlights. I have never colored my hair before (except for one regrettable experiment with a store-bought highlighting kit many years ago), so I was a little nervous. Tracy was such a sweetheart! She took her time to find pictures of balayage on her phone, so she could better understand what I would like. She was careful, patient, and really took her time while she worked on my hair. She even offered to trim the hair around my face, free of charge, so that it would frame my face better. I ve been with my same lady who does my highlights and color and cut for over 12 years, and she always surprised me with a new look every time and I absolutely loved it, thats why I never looked for a new stylist. My first visit to the Woodland Hills salon did not disappoint - the owner, Tracy, did a GREAT job cutting my hair. She was wonderful and really listened to what I wanted and then made her own suggestions that made the end result awesome - totally one of those "walk out of the salon feeling like a million dollars" moments! The salon itself is really cute and conveniently located off of Topanga Blvd and there are parking spaces right out front. This is my second time at Ohm Salon with Lesa and I had to write a review. First time - I just got a haircut - but she was so skilled with the scissors that I brought my husband. I've known Tracy the Owner and been a client of hers for almost ten (10) years now. She runs a great business at both locations and most importantly does an amazing job when it comes to styling hair. In addition, to doing an amazing job when it comes to styling, I really love the atmosphere at both salons. You really feel at home yet still a cool vibe at the same time. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be heading back to the Woodland Hills location. It really depends on Tracy's schedule. Abbot Kinney is much closer to me since I live in Santa Monica, but its worth the drive to Woodland Hills as well. read more
