I went in for a gel pedicure yesterday and had JOE and he did such an amazing job! The BEST pedicure I have had in Bastrop. He took his time and made sure my polish was perfect and actually gave the most relaxing massage I've had in a long time while getting a pedicure. I feel it's so hard nowadays to get a relaxing pedicure but Joe delivered! Highly recommend. read more

Proceed with caution. My wife came in looking for a relaxing experience, I was met with a manager who was incredibly unprofessional and visibly angry for no apparent reason. It was a bit unsettling experience, and I would recommend going elsewhere if you value a professional and calm environment. Pretty sure the manager/owner lady was fighting with her husband - she was clearly agitated at something and they were going back and forth at each other at the top of their lungs in Vietnamese lol. Oh and they reuse foot scrubbers so careful with that. read more

They're rude. There's only 4 people that are actually good and kind hearted. I've been going to them for a while but I'm finally going to stop. I'm tired of getting treated bad. Save your money yall. read more

I do not recommend this salon for waxing. The lady who was waxing my lower legs did not know how to properly hold down skin when pulling on the wax strip, causing lots of excruciating pain. Skilled estheticians know that when it comes to using wax strips, it is important to check in with the client about the temperature and to keep the skin from lifting with the strip and hair. The tech I had didn't bother to ask and I had to sit up and say "it's hurting!" After using waxing services for many years across many salons all over the world, this was the first time I experienced pain. I will not be returning here. read more

So RUDE!I will never go back to this place. Waited forever while nail techs stood around talking. They refused to giive my husband a pedicure and we finally just walked out. read more

No license!!!! I've had my nails done here many times, from the previous owner to the current one. There have been so many changes since the new owner, especially the service which has gotten progressively worse, very impolite and unprofessional. The man named Tim who usually runs the nail salon is very rude and ill mannered. Most recently, I discovered something very surprisingly is this man doesn't have a nail license. Yes you heard me!!! can you believe it!!! he's been doing nail for a very long time without license . Please be aware and get your money to the right place. We should inform to Texas department of licensing to prevent more people from being scammed by this shop. read more

Only see Tim for acrylics. The vibe is like any other nail salon-rushed and impersonal; they're looking at the next client coming through the door. A couple of the nail techs are not good at all as their work lasts for a day or two. Recommend making an appointment. read more

Went in for a fill they initially told me 40 then when I asked for color he said 55 I was like no I just want a fill with regular color he then said okay 40 is fine when it comes to charging me he's trying to charge me 45?? For what I don't know then I ask why he said bc my nails are long mind u they are not even long they are the same size I initially came in with so I don't get why they would change the price. The guy was tough and cut me multiple times. Don't recommend 0 socialization too read more

I went in for a pedicure and manicure and the woman at the front told me to wait or come back in 30 minutes. No worries - I went shopping and went back in 40 minutes. The same lady bellowed at me to sit down and wait. She was also rude and abrupt the first time I went in. After reading other reviews, I knew it would not get better so I left. Doing nails is a service industry and she needs to learn common courtesy. By the way - to all who read about "Janet's excellent service." Janet is no longer her there. I bet we can guess why.... Where did you go, Janet?! read more

Came here last minute to get my nails done and my friend for her toes done. I got the deluxe manicure With gel polish. I got a cinnamon whip. The manicure itself wasn't bad at all. When she was painting my nails I had to point out that some of the nails weren't smooth. Finished product, one nail has some bumps on it. The color itself doesn't match what the color was on the ones you picked out. She put lotion on my whole arm, up to my shoulder, and gave it a nice rub. Loved that. She then put oil on my hands and the paraffin wax on my hands. Aannnddd a mask on my arms. My favorite part of the whole thing. All of that was $45. $30 for the deluxe manicure and $15 for the gel polish. Not bad. read more

ZERO STARS. This place is run by crooked amateurs. My wife came in for a pedicure. Paid full price for a full massage and hot stone treatment. The "new" person that did her nails did a horrible job. They had to redo her nails. My wife had a double mastectomy 4 weeks ago. The rude and completely oblivious manager, when my wife said that she could not sit in the chair for another hour, told her that she should be able to sit up and take it. They offered no refund or recourse to a woman trying to feel better whilst recovering from cancer. This place is completely out of line, and very racist. They should not be able to continue to operate in Bastrop county. This will be reported not only to the Better Business Bureau, but also the local authorities. Citizens of Bastrop, avoid this awful place like the plague. Seriously. Double mastectomy and going through Chemo and she was told to " Suck it up", and was given no refund. These crooks should be run out of our little city. Buyer BEWARE!!! Call and ask to speak to the manager. You'll understand. read more

Everyone was very nice, and they had a lot of options. However, the woman who did my pedicure ripped out my "ingrown" (they were not painful or hurting me when I went in) toenails all the way down to the quick, and they bled and were extremely painful. I did not ask her to do this, she did it on her own and before I could say stop she was already halfway through ripping them. She then proceeded to do it on the other toe even though she could tell I was in pain. Both sides of both of my big toes are now infected, and I'm having to take antibiotics to clear it up. I'm not sure if this is a common procedure they do... it may have been a mistake or one time thing but it was not pleasant and it HURTS. read more

I get an SNS set and a Pedi all the time. They offer wine and the chairs are comfy! I prefer silent appointments due to anxiety issues and they respect it. (I have heard them talk to people that want too as well). I have seen them do some really nice art work on others nails too if you like that. I'm more simple and this alway lasts me 3-4weeks. read more

My husband and I followed our nail tech when she started working for Elysian. The salon is much larger than the previous salon we frequented. We were impressed as we found the business to be very clean and nicely decorated. My nail technician, Thy (pronounced "T"), is a perfectionist and does an amazing job. My husband's technician, Moon, also did an amazing job. We will be happily scheduling our future visits at Elysian. read more

I've had the lavender pedicure here twice and had a wonderful experience both times. The technician massages my feet and legs while the chair messages my back and neck. Heaven. Elysian Nail and Spa is a beautiful full service facility. The nail salon is so energizing I felt like dancing, but it was a bit noisy for me; personally I prefer a relaxing sound like jazz or soft music or even silence. I followed Thy to this nail and spa salon; she has been taking care of my hands and feet for more than eleven years. She is very professional and courteous. If you can get an appointment with her I know you will not be disappointed. I give Elysian Nail and Spa 5 stars for its esthetics and cleanliness. It is a lovely nail salon. read more

Everyone was rude, I spent a lot of money on gel pedicure and it peeled that very afternoon, the woman that gave it to me was very rough and acted as if she had something else to do. I went in to get SNS French tips today and the guy talked me out of it and convinced me to go with a color instead. While he was doing my nails, he kept looking at his phone reading his text messages. He was not very professional at all. I am sorry but if you have a client, you need to put the phone up. It was my fault, I should have either asked for someone else or got up and left. Nails are ok, just not what I went in for. Would I go back or refer someone there? No read more

Alex does the best nails! I have been going here for about 2 years and I love everyone there.

Usually love this place but today is the last time I'll ever go. Sam was so rude and very unprofessional. I went in for a nail repair which would take less than 5 minutes. I explained I had my kids so I would come back when it was my turn so they wouldn't be loud. They told me to come back in 30 minutes so I did, only for them to get another customer before me so I continued to wait inside for another 30+ minutes. At this point my baby started to fuss and that's when Sam said he would fix my nail. He told me my kids were annoying as soon as I sat down & I asked him to make sure I heard him right which was when he repeated himself and continued to talk badly to me & told me to leave after applying a new nail crookedly & not even attempting to straighten it out or fix it. The girl who usually does my nails rushed through fixing my nail and it's still crooked. The simple solution would have been to just fix my nail when I had came back at the time they told me to & get me in and out instead of choosing another customer because she was going to spend more money than me. read more

I've been here a few times and it was okay. I went for a pedi about 2 weeks ago. I picked a regular polish; it was like a highlighter neon yellow. An older man did my toes and the pedi itself was good but I could tell his was putting the polish on THICK. I could tell it wasn't going to fry after sitting there for a while waiting on a friend. So I spoke up and asked if he thought it was going to fry because it was so thick the top coat was starting to ripple. He proceeded to add ANOTHER layer of color and then decided to take it al off and redo them. However the Sam situation was happening. They were rippling. Long story short it took 5 try's of fully redoing them to have him say, "gel is better". I was in a hurry with a baby at home so I agreed to move forward with gel. The gel turned out fine however I was charged for the gel. I'd think for the inconvenience and having to pester him about redoing them in the first place that I shouldn't have been charged for gel. read more

Yes please! They have a menu...and boy did I need it...at first glance I thought those are some expensive pedicures but I went with the mandarin+mango spa pedicure...so let me tell you about the beautiful glass bowls your feet will be soaking in...they are gorgeous...the massage chair alone was worth the $43 dollars I paid...this pedicure went on for an hour it had different scrubs and lotions and massages and the peach wax with hot towel wrap was amazing...this is not the type of pedicure you get every time but if you find your self over worked and stressed out and need a break...this was so great I didn't feel rushed at all which I liked. I will not go anywhere else anytime soon. Next time I will try the basic Tropical Spa Pedicure!!! read more

The salon is nice looking. Some staff was polite, a lady I believed named moon was very kind. My daughter had mani pedi & waxing. Since she is 11 I asked them to only wax the middle of her eyes brows, the lady agreed. yet when we came out of wax room they had wax entire shaping. It's not horrible but just didn't care for my 11 year old to have waxed eyebrows . The lady that did my mani /pedi wasn't conversational at all. The gel polished wasn't applied so well. You could see different layers on my nails with a gap from cuticle do it seems my polish is about a week old . It's been three days & it's already chipping . So I will try elsewhere . read more

Horrible place I came in for a nice wedding set of fililí set nails & pedicure with my mom I got tan out before my full set was done by some rude nail tech guy who said I was speaking Spanish and didn't want to be their in the first place.. how much sense does this make? He was a nail tech guy and the girl who did pedicure messed up my toenails while sliding on the temp sandals they provide and I asked her to REDO that toenail!! Several of the nail places in Bastrop are owned by one family. Their nail technicians are good and not so good. My major beef with them is that they do not honor appointment times...I had to wait 30 minutes to an hour for my appointment while my technician handles a walkin. And, when you walk in they tell you to wait 15 min and I have waited as long as an hour and a half, all their places are the same....poor customer service by management. read more
