I was in absolute desperation for a massage due to ongoing issues from an MVA 3 years ago. I was ecstatic to see this little spot open up just down the road from my home, and couldn't wait to give it a shot. I was able to book online with ease, and for 2 days later at that! The morning of, I received a call that my assigned therapist was out Ill, and one of the add-ons I wanted was not something the therapists working that day were able to do. They were kind to offer me another service if I'd like, or just skip it and try next time. I thought that was very kind for them to call me and inform me, rather than me finding out when I arrived. Also, they were very understanding and caring about my sensitivity to LED lights due to my brain injury and other conditions, and had the lights practically off when ai got there for my appointment, just to ensure I felt as comfortable as possible. The room was also very dimly lit as well. So very thoughtful and kind. All of the ladies were extremely kind and pleasant. Very welcoming. I truly felt appreciated for being there. I was listened to, and felt "heard". My therapist focused on what needed the most attention, and i think may have even put me to sleep a couple times. It was an absolutely incredible experience, and I'm so ready to go back. I'm telling you now, do NOT waste your money on those chain places like Massage envy or any of the others. They are crap compared to this place. The pricing here is absolutely reasonable and the service you receive is top notch. read more

I had Shasta and my mom had Constance. We both had wonderful experiences. They both catered to each of our issues. The rooms were comfortable and peaceful. They only thing I would have suggested is the room I was in had a white noise machine, which was great to block out the traffic, etc. However, they also had some nice music playing, but I couldn't hear it very well over the white noise. It would have been nice to have it a little louder. Otherwise it was a phenomenal experience. I will certainly be back the next time I treat myself to a massage. I have been meaning to come here since moving and finally had a Saturday to book some me time! Don't let the outside fool you, it may not look boushy but, once you walk through those doors, you feel the relaxation vibe. The inside is calm and relaxing and the best part? Supporting local biz! The front desk staff is ready to assist you, extremely friendly and while you are waiting, there are alot of really cool products to check out. Once you go into your room for your service (in my case a 60 min. much needed massage), you notice how clean and calming this place is. Everything from the temperature, to the music, to the lighting are well thought out. My masseuse, Hailey( ihope thats her name, I was in such a state of calm when I asked her, I may have it wrong!) was amazing. It has been a long time since I had a massage and after a short consultation of the areas that I felt I needed her to focus on, she went to work on my tight, achy muscles. We were quiet, which I prefer and she was very accomodating regarding the pressure and how I was feeling while being considerate of my need for peace. I never fall asleep during a massage but, felt so relaxed, I could feel myself slipping. I wish my 60 minutes was longer and did not want to leave but, am looking forward to booking my next appt. I liked that when I checked out there was no push to buy products. Can't wait to check out the other services that they offer for facials etc. Another plus, is this place is so close to town, you can continue your pamper day with a cocktail or bite in town before heading back to reality. Although the outside may look a little skeptical (probably just because it's an older building) as soon as you walk through those doors, you most definitely will be catered to! I had my appointment with Constance today. I've experienced extreme pain for weeks, most likely from a pinched nerve. The tight muscles made it worse. Constance did an amazing job! She knew exactly what to do and where to focus, to help those tight muscles. It's the most relief I've had in weeks! I've driven by this spa a zillion times and decided to book a last-minute Deep Cleansing Facial with a Collagen Eye Treatment customization during my lunch hour. The spa is gorgeous and easy to find and relaxing enough that I fell asleep a couple times. Really loved the jewelry in the lobby and was ready to spend half my paycheck on a few earrings. Luckily, I had the restraint to wait on the purchase (though I already have events and outfits picked out for them). I absolutely love facials and was excited to make CBS my go-to spot in Bastrop. So it is with a heavy laptop that I type that my facial wasn't what I'd hoped. Extractions are never the fun part of deep cleanse, but I was surprised that we're still using fingernails in this process. I've been to other salons and know that extraction tools exist to make this feel less like an angry cat is walking on your face. Also, the level of shiny I was when I left was insane. I was waiting for the product to soak into my skin, but I truly looked like I'd just ran a marathon so I had to wipe my face before heading back to the office. CBS consistently gets amazing reviews, so this is not mean to keep you from enjoying your spa day. Go there. Soak up the bliss. And enjoy your self-care. read more

Had the most amazing facial done yesterday by Jeni Vejil! I got what they called "express correct" facial which was about 30 minutes long and specific to your needs. Very relaxing and all products smelled good. I was met with skincare regime and product recommendations afterwards. Also a glass of fancy orange water and Andies mint (my favorite!) I was told they're running a special in February for Valentine's Day. $95 for facial, hand, and foot treatments which sounds like a great deal. The ambiance was very spa-like, calming, pretty. Lovely, lovely, lovely. Once you come through the front door, you have stepped into a totally different (and wonderful) world! Cindy and her staff have created a high end spa feel that perfectly couples with the Texas friendly service you receive for every service, no matter how small. I recently popped in for a quick eyebrow wax and was greeted with a wonderful tour of their new sauna, 15 minutes of pampering during the service, and a chocolate and lime water to wrap it up. I had a lovely facial at Cherry Blossoms Spa while staying at Lost Pines Resort in Bastrop. The space is really cool - an historical building that has been moved into a little complex called The Crossing in downtown Bastrop. It reminded me of my grandparent's bungalow. But the decor is all spa - very soothing Zen and not at all frilly. The receptionist was super friendly and provided me with several glasses of lime water, a great way to start on a 105 degree day. The facial was awesome. For a little extra I had an Zesty Orange Facial which included a foot soak and massage. The facial products smelled delicious and between the ambiance and the massage, I think I went totally unconscious for a little while. Which is a good thing. I left totally refreshed and with glowing, happy skin. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. read more

I had my very first appointment at Cherry Blossoms and it was my very first facial as well! From the minute you walk in to the beautiful spa, you are greeted with a calm smile and a glass of delicious water. Today it was fresh strawberries and iced water in a glass pitcher, perfect for a warm summer day! Cindy is so pleasant and easy to talk to. I went in feeling nervous, but that feeling quickly went away as she started our session. I was so relaxed, I felt like I was floating at times. Cindy went over any concerns I had and different skin care guidelines with such ease, honesty, and knowledge. Even though I was her last session of the day, it didn't feel rushed at all. On top of the great facial, there was a neck, shoulders, arm, and hand massage included in my session. I am a mother of four and that massage was much needed! I don't have another spa to compare Cherry Blossoms to, but I don't have any desire to find one! I plan on being a regular, not only because it was such a relaxing experience, but I actually had a major boost in self esteem when I left. A new location, a new aesthetician, a new review! I love the new place - bigger and great location off of a main street downtown Bastrop. I had Chelsea do my "Enchanting Facial" today and loved it. I love the massaging of my neck, shoulders, scalp, and face - that's why I say a facial is better than a massage - you get the benefits of a massage and your face gets a deep cleansing. Chelsea is very sweet and helpful - I asked her what facial products were best for me at this time and she recommended a couple which I purchased. Cindy, you have a gem. I can tell that you really pour a lot of attention into this. All of your staff is really sweet and knowledgeable. So this is my first time to try Cherry Blossoms Spa and what can I say but that I love,love it! ! I went in for an eyebrow wax/tint and also threw in eyelash tinting as well (which is unusual for me given that I get a little nervous with putting anything close to my eyes). Traveling thru the Bastrop area last month and having a lot of stiffness I stopped in to Cherry Blossom Spa for a massage. Got a 90 minute massage with Tana and it was awesome. She was very attnetive to my aches and pains and was able to expertly apply just the right amount of pressure. I had not had a 90 minute massage before but will definitely get one again next time. I went to Cherry Blossom Spa a few months back. I had a facial by the owner and I have to say..... this was the best facial I have ever had. I live in Austin and drove to Bastrop for this facial. She was very professional and friendly. I received much more than I expected from my facial and I will definately come back. It is worth the drive. My sister came from San Antonio and really enjoyed her services also. I cannot recommend this SPA enough as it was well worth the drive and you get a lot from the services. Highly recommend this spa. Had a massage by Maria on 4/9/16. Suprised to get an appointment on same day as requested. Per front desk staff, Jessica, availability is hard to come by on weekends. Very nice ambiance! Be careful in hallway, it's too dark and there is a slight slope in the floor that can be a tripping hazard. Maria was very professional and courteous. She asked about my preferences before and during my massage. I was told by Jessica that Maria is new. Jessica could not provide any info on the licensed massage therapists, and Maria was the only available LMT. My massage had too many interruptions and I was not able to fully relax as planned. Perhaps Maria's transitions during the massage, and pressure consistency will improve with time. I understand each LMT style is different. I felt relaxed afterwards and was treated to some goodies before I left (won't spoil it for you). Had mild to medium bruising on both shoulders on day after massage. May return to try a different LMT. Go ahead and treat yourself. You deserve it! read more
