I've had my eyebrows microbladed three or four times before finding Tessa, and after the last…read moretouch-up with my previous artist I almost cried because of how much I hated them. When features were being given out before birth, I must have missed the eyebrow line because I definitely wasn't given any. My sister used to call them my "commas" and it has always been the one feature I am most self-conscious about and most unhappy with in general. I could not leave my house until I had a full-face of makeup on and my eyebrows were perfect because my brows crippled my confidence and self-esteem so much. I have been drawing them on for 10+ years now and last year I made the commitment to have them microbladed. The artist I went to offered a "natural" look, so I thought it would be a great fit. It wasn't. I was displeased with the color, the shape (especially the tail!), the placement, and pretty much everything about my new brows even after having multiple, expensive touch-ups. I essentially ended up still drawing them on every day after I covered up the microblading with foundation and concealer. When I discovered Tessa on Instagram, I instantly fell in love with her work. The looks that she created were gorgeous, full brows that looked absolutely natural - everything I had wanted in the first place! As soon as I was able, I booked an appointment with her. From the start, she was such a blast and we had an awesome time chatting and talked about everything under the sun. Not only did I have a great (and pain-free!) time during the appointment, but my eyebrows are finally everything I've always wanted! I honestly can't even begin to tell you how much it means to me. I wake up and feel beautiful and confident - something I've honestly never had before! She corrected the previous work and gave me the full brows of my dreams. If you are looking for the most incredible brows of your life, I can not recommend Tessa enough! I am so happy and I feel great now with minimal and even NO MAKEUP! These brows are perfection. Thank you, Tessa!

Let me start by saying I am one of the many that always had my brows waxed as I was younger. In walks Tess with her magical self and some serious passion for beautiful brows!! Wow what an amazing difference! First, let me start by saying this was my first experience with any type of facial procedure/ tattoo and needless to say I was nervous. From the minute I walked in, Tess was so professional, kind, informative, and she went above and beyond to make sure I was completely comfortable. I couldn't have felt more at ease in fact, the appointment literally flew by as we ended up chatting almost the entire time. What a sweetheart!! The results? I think I was almost in shock the first time I saw them. They are so perfect and a month later I still catch myself in the mirror in awe that these perfect brows are mine!! I'm so happy!!! Oh! And let me also add one more thing...Tess was also awesome enough to reach out and follow up with me to see if I had any questions and make sure I was healing properly during the first few weeks after the procedure. Seriously how amazing is that?!

Dr. Rasmussen was recommended by a friend of mine. I'd been to two other Dermatologists this past…read moreyear for a few minor issues. The first one was OK, but I'd waited 29 minutes on hold before I was able to get a person to make an appointment. When I called the next day about a follow-up issue, I was on hold 10 minutes before I hung up and just drove over and demanded to see the doctor (they let me in to see herabout 15 minutes later). I never went back. The second one I went to see a few months later wanted to charge an additional $50 for removing a small spot. Each additional spot was only $15 extra and of course this wasn't covered by insurance. I didn't bother getting the small spots removed and never went back. It took a while to get an appointment with Dr. Rasmussen but it was worth the wait. The first thing he did was apologize for being a few minutes late. He did a thorough exam and prescribed a few items that I'll be using. He also took enough time to discuss the issues I went to see him about. I love the fact that he gave me his own extension as well as a direct line to the scheduling department. He also has a secure portal, which is my favorite (and easiest) way to to contact the doctor directly. I'm very pleased and will be using him as my Dermatologist from now on.

In 2024 I went to him because of a lesion on my leg and I asked specifically whether it could be a Leiomyosarcoma. He looked at it and said it was benign, and didn't spend very much time with me. He may have been busy that day. Fast forward to this summer and I went to another Austin Regional Clinic dermatologist, Dr. Campa, because the lesion was throbbing. She immediately did a biopsy and it was, indeed, a Leiomyosarcoma. In the 15 months between when Dr. Rasmussen told me the lesion was benign and when it was diagnosed as a Leiomyosarcoma, the lesion grew and metastasized. Surgery at MD Anderson was on Nov 4, 2025. They had to take out an 8cm x 8cm chunk out of my leg. I've been told the tumor will likely return in a couple years. If it comes back in my lungs or kidneys, I will be facing chemotherapy and major cancer treatment.
