I've had my eyebrows microbladed three or four times before finding Tessa, and after the last touch-up with my previous artist I almost cried because of how much I hated them. When features were being given out before birth, I must have missed the eyebrow line because I definitely wasn't given any. My sister used to call them my "commas" and it has always been the one feature I am most self-conscious about and most unhappy with in general. Let me start by saying I am one of the many that always had my brows waxed as I was younger. I was left with patchy, uneven, and literally crooked brows with one significantly higher than the other. Anytime a girl says "sorry, I'm going to take longer than expected, I want to make sure they're perfect" when doing your brows you know it's a girl who cares about her job. Tess micro-bladed my eyebrows and made me feel so beautiful. She was so accommodating to me that she gave me options and suggestions before doing my brows, reassured me along the way and insure not an ounce of pain was inflicted, and even midway through she managed to make them even better by discussing color options and going darker. I was terrified of going too dark and after talking through it, she made them absolutely beautiful. The idea of my eyebrows looking too intense was horrifying, but she even offered to talk me through it on days where I was feeling unsure. So I was super nervous (read: terrified) to get my eyebrows microbladed. Turns out I had absolutely nothing to worry about because Tess is amazing. I knew I was an overplucker but she showed me exactly how much I was overplucking (spoiler alert: it was a lot). She was extremely patient with me and my hesitations and even let us finish the final strokes during my touch up (which in retrospect I wish I had just let her do initially!) I loved that Tess was such a perfectionist and didn't rush through anything. I went to see Tessa after seeing her work on Instagram. I must admit that I was a little nervous at first but she really knew what she was doing. Her confidence helped relax me. I had my lips pumped up a little. I suffered from awkward barely there lips. Ugh. But they look great now! I still have a natural look, which I asked for, but they've definitely been pumped. I saw her at the clinic for this particular service but I also get facials every once in a while. I recently moved to Texas and my skin hasn't adapted well so i was in dire need of some facial treatments. She's helped me get my skin to a better spot than what it was.
