I was put in a chair and waited over an hour in cold water for a tech to do my pedicure. Then the tech rushed through the pedicure and did not do a good job. I was told they had time to do my nails with S&S Dip Powder. Anthony did nothing but try to soak my nails in acetone for an hour because he was too busy so start with me. He should have been honest and told me he didn't have time. My nails are bumpy and not evenly filed. I was also quoted a different price when I called beforehand. I went and got my nails done just a gel manicure is what I always get no matter where I go! Not even a few hours later and my nails are all cracked chipped gel coming off. I went back and the lady said it's not her fault , gel is not good and this always happens and that I need to get dipped next time and not gel.. and I'm thinking that's funny because it's never happened to me in the years I've gotten my nails done! First time I went, the man who did my nails was slow but did a good job. Second time I came in was with a different man, the end results of a few nails were chunky so I ask him to fix it. He did but only to find out it looked exactly the same. He was rushing me because they had overbooked so it made me feel like I just wanted to leave without having to keep asking him to fix it. This is what happened when I went home: the chunky nails were just air bubbles with wet nail polish underneath them. I like going to Anthony's to get me and my daughters nails done. But the last couple of times we have gone there, I was not impressed or happy with the way they did my youngest daughter's nails. We just went yesterday afternoon on Sunday, October 6, 2024 to get their nails manicure and painted. By that evening the polish on my youngest daughter's nails was peeling off. read more

I've been here three times now for both pedicures and dipping powder for nails. I have gotten a different nail tech every time and all of them have done a thorough, good job. The customer service is great and the staff does not rush, which I appreciate. I've been here 3 times. One of the guys working put a new set of nails on me. Within 2 days one nail cracked and one broke. Called, went back for them to fix, the owner fixed them and within 2 days two more broke, one was one of the ones he had just fixed. I've had nails for more than 20 years. Pedicure / Manicure with Powder Dip: First visit here, it's new to Lockhart. Always best in my opinion to wait a little after they open to try new places out. I was there at 9:30 am - first customer of the day on a Monday morning. The decor is nice and since it's a new establishment; the place was clean. I was asked to pick my colors and directed to my pedicure chair. The water was warm, I would have preferred hotter, but the tub was full by the time I sat down. The tools used were not pulled out of individual wrapped (pre sanitized) packets. She just had them in her small box. They have several pedicures to chose from, I did the deluxe. It was nice and relaxing, the chairs are new and work great! It had been a hit minute since my last pedicure, so my heels needed some work. Happy with the work on my heels, but she left a little bit of skin around my toes that could have been removed. Next to the manicure. I wasn't impressed. I had the old powder taken off while having my pedicure. I expected to have my cuticles cut, pushed back, trimmed...something - prior to the powder being put on my nails. I asked Tammy about it (owner - she did my nails, not pedicure) and she said that the cuticles would be after the powder is placed. That is a little odd for me as normally it's done before. The color on my nails doesn't look like the color on the nail that I selected. My nails look like pink powder only, not like #92. I told Tammy that it didn't match, so she offered to paint over it. Defeats the purpose, if you ask me. I didn't get a massage on my hands. She didn't put lotion on my hands either. And the amount of cuticle oil she used, probably wasn't enough for 2 fingers. Went in for a fill. Very happy with the outcome. Tamy was knowledgeable and went above and beyond. She even gave me some tips for what to ask for in the future from a nail tech when getting a fill. She also did a good job waxing my eyebrows. She shaped them well without taking too much off. $35 for the fill, $10 for the wax. Great prices!! read more

Bad experience walked in, told the staff my neice wanted acrylic showed him a picture of what she wanted which was a small almond shape with a design and he told us 30 mins and we where 40 mins in and I realize other walk ins where being seeing first so I told the guy who talked to me first that I was just going to come another time before because other walk ins where being seeing first and he screamed at me saying that no one else knew how to do designs but him and he wasn't even halve way done with the person he was working on so why lie to me and tell me 30 mins and why didn't you tell me no one else knew how to do designs they could have least started on her nails but nothing.. so upsetting. I called Tuesday morning to get an appointment at 3pm. Tammy said that was fine. When I arrived, she was just finishing with another client, someone else started removing my old set of nails. Tammy took over. She did a pink and white over my own nails. She even suggested a different pink other than the traditional one usually used. They came out beautiful! Very happy with my pedicure! There were only 3 people working when I walked in and all were busy with clients, but they sat me right away and I got to enjoy the very comfy massage chair while I waited. I didnt catch his name, but the older gentleman who did my pedicure was very thorough, neat and my foot massage was AMAZING. It took him an hour to complete my Deluxe Pedicure, but it was my day off and I was in no rush. I also got my eyebrows waxed and the woman who did them took her time and I loved that she didnt pressure me into more services. I just moved to town and I dont think the prices were bad at all compared to most places that charge more in Austin. The salon itself was very clean and modern and I LOVED the upscale massage chairs. Been to this place a couple times already for pedis, shellac and powder nails. Each service has been exceptional. The owner and employees are attentive and take their time resulting in a great outcome. They don't keep you waiting. They don't attend to several people at once like other places in Lockhart. The facility is clean and the equipment and utensils are all clean and sterilized. The massage chairs are nice and the TV and music isn't overbearing. They offer soda, water or wine. I opt for wine as it's a nice way to unwind for the evening. It is free and the owner does it to be kind. It's incredibly thoughtful. Please help keep this new establishment running. I think I have been to every nail salon in Lockhart and seem to be disappointed every time, so I will admit I was nervous to try this place out. I had a friend tell me to request Tammy, so I made an appointment for Saturday at 10 and did just as she suggested! Even though they were busy I was seen right at my appointment time. Tammy did an amazing job! I showed her a picture and she did exactly what I wanted. I am so happy with my nails! I also did the regular pedicure and I was thrilled to see how CLEAN the place was. Not one time did I question any of the tools they were using and I watched as they cleaned each station after every client. The nail techs are so friendly. They make sure you are comfortable and are taken care of well. I hadn't been to get a pedicure since I was 15 I am now 21 I was scared but the woman who took care of my toes was great. And although they were busy they keep checking on me and completed my pedicure and manicure in a timely manner. I have nothing bad to say about this place honestly. The owner reconvened the dip acrylic nails and I was skeptical but I normally break a nail with in the first two weeks. I've been to this place more than once. Their work is average. I don't think they ever leave your nails perfect like you want them to be. The owner is always there. His name isn't Anthony by the way. His work is pretty good. There is one lady whose work I absolutely love. She's an older lady. Not too young not to elderly. I'm rating this place a one star because of the last experience I had there. Their customer service is terrible. The majority of them seem angry and rude. If you make any comment they start to talk in their language to each other. The lady who did my nails was probably new there. I mentioned how some of my nails weren't coming out correctly and she would get mad and shake her head and start talking in whatever language she talked in. This is terrible. I honestly hate their customer service. Overall, I hated my last visit. My nails came out completely ugly, thick and shaped incorrectly. She didn't even try. I will never be back here again.
