I was a bit nervous coming in because one of my toenails had been super tender for a few weeks after a bad pedicure elsewhere. My technician, Lynn, was absolutely amazing! She worked her magic, completely fixed the problem, and made the pain go away instantly. On top of her incredible foot care, she gave me a fantastic pedicure. They are very racist, I just opened my mouth I felt I didn't say anymore that I speak Spanish and a man came out behind to tell me that the store was closed that they were not going to serve me .. very badly they treated me and the customers looked at me as if with pity. At 5:50 I asked the front desk girl if I was next--she said "15 more minutes." For a basic pedicure. I asked if there was any kind of discount since my time was clearly not respected. She checked with the manager, who said no--either wait or make an appointment. So I left. And I won't be back. This isn't the first time I've been turned away. The last few weeks I've tried to come in, they've been understaffed and unbothered. The woman to the left (apparently the owner?) didn't even acknowledge me. No apology, no courtesy. Ok so here we go. Today was my sister's 13th birthday and as a surprise I took her for her FIRST set! The only surprise was the bill... I had asked the front desk why I was charged a long nail add-on considering how short her nails were and she had explained it was because it was a different shape then a square shape (which they don't up charge for?) The problem here isn't the length but the description of the up-charge. I had asked if going extremely long would change the price and she said no..... I'm sorry but even for my simple lavender nails being 80$ this is just NOT it. The only good thing about this place was the atmosphere and the front desk girl who was awesome. Def don't recommend if you're used to other "cheaper" nail salons (btw the "cheaper" nail salons give the exact same service and STILL don't charge this out of pocket) Thank you but really no thank you. Owner you really need to be better on your description for payment and need to reevaluate the pricing. Walked in on a Wednesday afternoon for a gel manicure. I was sat immediately but wasn't seen for about 10 minutes. No ETA, just pick your color and wait. The woman who did my manicure was nice. She's listened to what I wanted/needed. I appreciate the method they use remove old gel (no soak, they use something that makes it peel). Besides the slow start, I will say that there is an awful chemical smell throughout the salon. I'm not sure if it's because I'm pregnant and sensitive but the place could benefit from airing out the fumes. read more

I've been a customer for 3 years, called to make appointments always prior to showing up. Today I called to get in for a quick appointment, asked for specific nail techs and arrived at the time i said i would. As I arrived I was sat down like normal at the pedi chairs. Ricky did a fabulous job like always on my nails but as I was getting ready to start pedi the front desk receptionist told me I would be with a specific tech and then last minute said he already left for the day so I got stuck with someone who I didn't know or how they did nails. Of course i said yes because I was already there. Long story short, I paid $158 on my nails and my hands are terribly done. The length of my nails do not match, I tried getting them fixed before she painted them and she proceeded to tell me "I should've told her before she painted them" Im extremely disappointed as a loyal customer and incredibly frustrated. Wasted my money getting my nails done is how I am feeling. I should've been some what compensated as Ricky knew I was not happy with my nails and still proceeded to take full amount. He did offer for me to get my nails fixed by the same lady that did my nails but she had an attitude and was on her phone while I was checking out like she didn't want to be there. Overall incredibly annoyed and frustrated. Do better Lux nails or you'll loose your loyal customers. read more

**Late Post** My mom visited a few weeks back and was grossly overcharged! I don't understand how they justify charging a $20 add-on for gel polish when getting a pedicure. That's more than half of what it costs for the service and they aren't doing anything extra. Meaning, the nails still have to be polished whether it regular polish or gel (and no design). It's an up charge of 67%. For her hands, she did the dip powder using her own nails and yet they charged her $5 for shape and $20 for design. Her natural nails are not long and the shape is regular square. The design was basic and there was no jewelry/stones or anything to warrant a design up charge of $20. I have been here many times before and my nails designs are usually way more intricate for the same $20 up charge. They also did not clean under the nails. There was a lot of residue and left over dip that wasn't removed. Additionally, they did not offer her any water or anything during the 3hr service. read more

Always great service but today was special. I opted for mail tips and Hot Gel with Jenny and the results are fantastic! No powder!! I'm very excited about the fact that I can get refills as my nails grow out rather than having to take them off and reapply everything, as with dip. Went in for a polish change with gel on my nails. The nail tech took off the first layer of gel with the nail drill and then took out the nail clippers and started to cut my nails with the gel still on. My nails underneath started to splinter and the tech worked to peal the tips of my nails off after trying to cut through the gel. I asked him to stop and to take the gel off before cutting the rest of my nails. The tech proceeded to take off the gel with the nail drill, filing my nails down so that it hurt. No nail polish remover was used throughout this process. While shaping my nails, the tech cut different nails diagonally and to different lengths. Not worth the money at all! I will not be going back to this nail studio. I paid for a painful experience with a terrible result. read more

I had two long time friends visiting for the weekend. We had a spur of the moment inspiration to all get mani/pedis together. I called ahead to Lux Nails to see if they could accommodate three walk ins. None of us had ever been here before. The front counter lady was a little impatient with us while we tried to figure out their "menu" and filling out the paper with our choices. They fit a lot of stuff on that little paper. One of my friends wanted a dip manicure and asked if she could get that done at the same time she was getting her pedicure. The lady at the front counter told her no and it would take at least an hour so she decided to just do a regular manicure. Lundin & Paige were awesome. We were asking them how long a dip manicure would take. Lundin spoke with the guy doing my friend's pedi and Lundin told my friend it would take 30-45 minutes. That looked better so she decided to go ahead and do the dip manicure. The lavender pedicure was just right. Poor Paige had her work cut out for her with my feet but she was definitely up to the challenge. My friends and I enjoyed our mani/pedis with Lundin and Paige. The complimentary drink was a nice bonus even with the disgruntled front desk lady delivering them. The check out was a bit hectic as my two friends were treating me for my birthday. One was paying for all 3 manis and my other friend was paying for all three pedis. This seemed to seriously confuse the lady at the front counter. I'm not really sure why, it seemed pretty clear cut to us. She's definitely the reason they get 4 instead of 5 stars. read more

Pedicure was amazing. I took my mom and cousin as a treat while I was visiting from Missouri and wish London and Paige are fantastic. They combined four massages: reflexology, Asian tradition, boxing, and pinching. A 10 star would be more appropriate. The facilities were very clean and the entire staff was super.
