recently moved to this area and thought i had found my new nail salon but seems like my nail was not sealed correctly after applying builder gel, water was going into my nails and when i went to another salon to fix, my nail was green under as well as my thumb. i've been doing my nails for years and this has never happened to me. i won't be coming back. update: i now have 2 other nails that look like this too. this is very upsetting especially that the price for service wasn't cheap. would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Girl who did my fingernails was inattentive and did a mediocre job at best. I can see my nails under the color and the polish did not go to the end of my nail beds or completely on the sides. Additional, I paid for a manicure and really only got a polish. No lotion and arm massage like every other place I've been to in the past 30 years. It felt like a very rushed and half-a**ed job. Call me old fashioned but a pedicure is supposed to be relaxing. Can you tell me what's relaxing about 2 ladies loudly laughing and chatting with each other while they rush your pedi and ignore your requests? When you pay what is costs for these services and they not only rush through it but make you feel so uncomfortable - you become even less relaxed. Be professional. You're at work and you're in the service industry. This isn't Tuesday night happy hour with the girls. read more

So I just left and will not be returning to this establishment. I just paid $95 for a European facial, which basically turned out to just be a facial massage. I had no steam I had no extractions. I had no anything. It was literally just a facial massage. I don't know how this establishment could advertise facials if they are not trained and giving a facial in my 25+ years of receiving facials. This is the worst one I have ever received. Let me preface by saying that I love their Cibolo location, they are consistent in their service and quality. I have recommended them to my SIL, aunt and other family/ friends. I'm not the only one that would make the drive for a good mani/pedi. With that said I was excited to hear about their new location here in town. TLDR: Pedi experience with lady not so great hence the minus one star. Second time back for mani with Mike 5 stars. Mike is the highlight of my experience there! The first time I had visited New Schibolo with my sisters was for a pedi, the experience was not what I hoped for in comparison to the one in Cibolo. First reason, the deluxe pedicure with gel was VERY rushed. The sea salt scrub and relaxing massage was done in about 5 minutes which should be 12 according to their description. They were told that one person in our party needed to be done quickly since she also had her mani but that was not my case as we drove separate and only needed a pedi which they knew. Second reason I found it lacking in quality, the woman had shaped my toe nails in the oddest shape... my sister and I laughed that she tried to make my big toe look like a thumb. I'm grateful for the moment of humor tho. I'm still hopeful in the pedi department and willing to give them a redemptive chance at this location. Now let me rave about Mike for my acrylic set he did just last week. I never knew what kids these days meant when they say "ate and left no crumbs" until Mike did my nails. He knew exactly what I wanted when shaping and was checking throughout the process that I was satisfied thus far. He takes concerns very well as I was initially concerned early in the process that 2 of the tips were glued on crooked. He removed and replaced them to straighten it out. Mike took his time to pay attention to the details- the shape, the evenness, the cleanliness around the nail, etc. Many times nail technicians can be kind of rude and alienate customers... NOT Mike!! He makes great conversation and is so well cultured so it was like talking to a friend! He has absolutely restored my faith in this location. I had these nails done for my husband's company Christmas party and all the wives noticed and complemented them. I told them to make sure and go with Mike. My husband laughed and joked that every fave nail shop I've had in the cities we lived in had a Mike that I thought was the best. Mike is now our guy and this one is THE BEST read more

Made appointment online and requested a specific technician. This is the second time I've made a reservation only to find out the technician had quit or they assigned someone else. I got a $60 pedicure and the nail polish didn't even cover my entire toe. I complained and they added some polish, but it's not the same as having it completed with the topcoat, etc. This is the also the 2nd time I've chosen a color for my hands and the color is totally different from their example. I went there once and had great service so I was looking forward to going back, but today was not great at all! I got a pedicure done by Hanah. From the start, she was very rough. I kept saying ouch as she was poking and hurting me and she acted like I was annoying her. She ended up cutting my cuticle and making it bleed and then gouging a small hole on the top of my big toe nail that also bleed a little. She put a product on that was burning the wound she made and I asked her to take it off, but she did not understand what I was saying. Two other employees came over, but they not able to understand. Finally the manager came over and explained to her what I was saying. At that point, I said I am done and do not want her to finish my pedicure and that I am leaving. Even though Hanah had injured me twice and made me bleed, the manager insisted I pay for a partial pedicure I definitely will not be going back. HORRIBLE I asked for my dip to be removed and just a manicure and gel polished as I'm talking the nail tech has started to file my nails I'm thinking Hmmmm So I repeat I'm going out of town next week I just want a manicure and gel polish. He says "no you get now and then" and continues to mix powder. I say I really want a manicure He pulls out menu and says, 35 now and 45 then you might as well get 45 now" Now I'm exhausted and just gave in When he finishes I asked another nail tech why didn't he do my cuticle or massage my hands? Oh that's extra!!!!!! So for $45 I got a fill one coat of clear over two broke nails!!!! We won't be back New resident to Texas!!! read more

I had gone myself previously and decided to take my mother-in-law this last time that she was in town. We enjoyed ourselves so much in this beautiful nail salon, and our nail technicians were so attentive and pleasant. I feel like I've been to all of the places in new Braunfels and this one is by far my favorite. Not only is it a brand new establishment. It is also incredibly well kept and adorably decorated for the seasons. I got an infection on my toe after receiving a $76 pedicure from this place. I also got charged extra for a "customized" (uneven) French tip on my acrylics. Beware of extra charges they add on without telling you. When I asked for a breakdown in pricing the lady got frustrated with me. Also, pretty sure their nail products aren't safe. After acrylic application multiple nails started to burn. She had to spray alcohol on my nails to prevent over heating every so often. read more

I was wary about going to these asian nail salons as they usually do a bad poor quality job. I guess i shouldve listen to my gut because it was pretty bad. Lets start off with the good; they weren't too busy when I arrived so I didn't have to wait. Place is new and clean overall. They offer free drinks. Now the cons...They don't have regular nail polish from well known brands. It's cheapy asian polish. They try to upsell you on everything. The expensive deluxe pedi is just a regular pedicure anywhere else and it was awful. One of the worst pedicures I've had and "the worst paint job" I've ever received. Avoid this company. Overpriced and poor quality pedicure. From their high price services to their extended massage to their customer service....everything was bad. I paid extra for their Deluxe pedicure and it was truly not worth it. Stay away from this company! read more

Is there less than one star? I stoped in because it's close to home. I bring my own nude polish and have for 25 years. It is a regular manicure. They wanted to charge me for an expensive gel manicure and told me if I brought my own polish, I could just do them myself at home. As you can imagine, I was not happy. After a week my dip nails cracked and pieces were falling off, went back within the week for them to fix it only for it to be cracked and falling off in two days.
