I recently visited Milano Nail Spa and had a mixed experience. The salon itself was beautiful and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, I was disappointed with the overall value and communication regarding services. I received a lavender pedicure and a dip manicure on my natural nails and asked for an almond shape, but my nails came out uneven and more oblong with inconsistent shaping. I received a lavender manicure and the massage was way too rough with the exfoliating scrub. I was also told something would be applied to make the nail color brighter, but was not informed this would be an additional charge until checkout. "Chrome" was added and I had no clue as I just started doing my nails after more than 5yrs of not going to a nail salon. During the manicure my cuticles were cut very aggressively and I went home with bleeding and soreness. For the total price of $200, I expected better quality, gentler technique, and clearer communication about add-on costs. I did tip, but not as well as I normally would. I believe the technician did her best, but it wasn't up to par with the pricing. read more

Norma is my go to girl for nails and Wendy is the IT girl for toes. The salon is too cute. It is spacious, clean and inviting. David is at the front desk and he sweet as pie, he answered all the questions I had and gave recommendations on services. My natural nails are long and I wanted to maintain the length and health of my nails, I opted for the acrylic overlay and haven't been disappointed . I am extremely picky with my nails and I inspect every single nail and Norma was so patient and she made corrections to any nail I didn't like. read more

Y'all - this is a gem of a place! I was in the area and decided to get a couple of items at target. Well, I was almost due for another mani pedi so I decided to try Milano. First of all, the check in process was great, they have a great selection of nail colors and brands, an extensive bar menu, and great service. I had Tammy for a pedicure and Tiny for a manicure and could not be happier with the services provided. Good customer service, but sloppy work. Do not recommend. I got a mani pedi with gel removal. My natural nails were all shaped sloped. I needed gel removal and there are strips of old gel still on my nails. Polish work was sloppy, parts of the nail not covered. I was left with hangnails and rough skin on my feet. read more

I really wanted to like this place. It's beautiful when you walk in and well laid out. Great employees. I had a mani /pedi (shellac) just a day before I left on vacation. The polish on two of my toes didn't make the trip home from Salon and then second day of my trip the polish on my nails began peeling off,by third day no evidence of manicure remained. The salon is beautiful, very clean, and has such a relaxing vibe. I loved that they offered complimentary drinks, and everyone there was super nice and welcoming! The only downside was the polish quality. I got my nails done Friday night, and by Saturday afternoon, the polish was already chipping off. I called to ask if there was a guarantee or how long the polish usually lasts, but didn't really get an answer. It's disappointing because I really liked everything else about the place. I'd love to come back, but I just hope the polish quality improves next time. read more

I can't even believe that i walked out of a nail salon without tipping. In my 34 years on earth, i have NEVER left a nail salon or hair salon (even if i wasn't satisfied) without tipping. I want to start off by saying that this is my second time coming to this salon. The first time, we got the 20% off discount & the price seemed fair after the discount, so i didn't write a review... plus, Quinny did a PHENOMENAL job on my design.. so i didn't want to write a review complaining, bc she really did great & took her time/asked me for my input & worked with me.. but unfortunately my nails started breaking within days & many of them were broken off by week 1.. anyway, i figured it was a one off & i work a lot with my hands so i wasn't even upset about it, really. This time?! Completely different experience. I kept asking the difference between the 45/55/65 pedicures bc it doesn't really specify on the menu... they kept just saying "yeah, that one" & pointing to the $65 one... i was like "no, I'm asking you what the difference is..." response: "yeah, that one" to the $65 one, so i was like whatever I'll go middle of the road & went with the $55 under the sea... big mistake, should have gone for the base one with the paraffin bc i paid extra for a painful massage that didn't seem intentional at all... more like a rushed (albeit timed-- I'll admit he went the full 28 mins) random conglomerate of movements... it sure as hell didn't feel good; or relaxing in the slightest... and I LOVE foot massages, so in my mind I'm like wtf how am I hating this rn... Now, onto my nails... bruh.. I'll just leave photos of those for you guys to judge.. $45 down the drain in my humble opinion bc they look like complete crap to me. My daughter got a full set. They charged $100 for this set, no take off, nothing extra but the design... again...I'll let you be the judge if that's a fair price, but I'll say in my mind, it isn't. Especially bc it wasn't even well done. Idk if it's just bc it's been ages since I got designs on my nails so the prices have changed so drastically or what... but $100 for this design to me, even if it WAS well done, (personally) seems... steep. I won't be coming back here... specifically bc this place seems waaay more concerned with making $$$ than giving the customer a positive experience... and that results in over charging for services that aren't worth the extra cost.. all in all, this is not the place for me. $230 later... and neither one of us are happy with the outcome.. But who knows, maybe you'll have a better experience ‍ read more

I went for the grand opening. They had an amazing opening with give aways games and prizes for all the customers. Love the special discount for the first few months that way it gives everyone a chance to try the salon out. I got a pedicure and tried this new top coat feature with my jeweled nails. One of my nails polish came completely off after a few days but they fixed me up right away with no charge. I was pleased. They gave me no hassle. I will be returning. read more

I've been here twice so far. The first time was good but the second time felt very rushed and not very attentive. I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Signature Nail is way better. I do not recommend going to Milano as it is overpriced and the nail techs do not do a very good job.

The place and environment is nice, however the quality of the work on my nails is horrible. For a service that has lasted me over a month (builder gel) from other places has only lasted me 2 weeks from here. One nail is super crooked, one nail you can see through it compared to the other nails that clearly have more product on it, and now that nail is breaking. Another nail has already broken. My nails feel like they can easily bend. A co- worker of mine came a day after me and she is disappointed as well, she got the same service. I came today to get them fixed hoping they would want to do good by their customers, especially being newly opened. And was told that I would have to pay for them to fix my nails. Did not get an apology for the obvious bad service. being apologetic and trying to make it right would have made it a little more easier for me to give them another try to spend more money there. read more
