Need a new nail place. After a powder refill, my nails 2 day later were chipping. To make the investment in the time, money, etc and to have to return for a repair and then again nails jagged and splitting AGAIN is annoying. They said the powder was way to thin. I've been going to this place for years. Bring my kids here and myself, regularly. I booked an appointment online like I always do and I was told that who I booked (who I always go to), wasn't available. That I booked "salon" for my tech. I did go back and forth about that issue given I book online all of the time and always see the same person. Once I finally said ok, who will see me then, I was told they didn't have availability. TEN MINUTES BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT TIME! The lady in charge is not who is usually in charge. Mistake for the salon because her customer service is poor. Telling a customer she is wrong AFTER my appointment was confirmed via text message as proof and then saying she didn't have time for me at my appointment time. ASININE. read more

I usually have a good experience here and good product, but today just wasn't it. The nail tech really really rushed doing my nails, which in turn made them very uneven, not completely covered on the sides with the acrylic, and didn't fully take off the shellac polish I had on my nails so I can see the black polish on some of the nails. when asked what pedicure i wanted i said basic because it was only like 30 dollars then i was asked if i wanted gel i said yes because i was never informed it was a $20 extra charge so my basic pedicure came out being $52 and it's just simple white and then I asked for my nails to be done. I was going to get designed, but I wasn't given a price on what it would be. I showed a picture and what length I would be doing and they couldn't give me a full price. They said it would range between somewhere at $50 between 90 so I got basic nails with no color no design nothing and it still cost me $62 so in total it costed me $115 when i expect it to at most cost $80 all im saying is they should tell you the price upfront and top with the hiden fees because my length was apparently an extra charge when i got short nails as well read more

this place is amazing, I've struggled to find good nail salons that can do a good pedicure in New Braunfels. This is by far the best pedicure I've received in a long time and my nails look amazing. I wasn't able to catch the guys name but he did exactly what I asked for which is a very simple cut and straight file... For some reason other nail salons, struggle with that but he nailed it. Was disappointed with the manicure and pedicure! Girl barely scrubbed my heels and were still slightly rough afterwards. The polish on several of my nails chipped by the next morning (had manicure done at 3pm). Granted, I did not do shellac but polish did not even last 24 hours. After 48 hours, 7 of my nails had all chipped and started to peel on the edges. I feel like she rushed through everything as well. She was finished with my manicure AND pedicure before the lady next to me was finished with a pedicure and I sat down after she did. Also, I saw online that a manicure and pedicure was $37 but when I went to pay she told me I owed $43. Floor was dirty, no drinks offered even though there was a margarita machine,etc. read more

I've tried this salon a few times and at first they were pretty good. The last two times I went, it smelled like lingering cigarette smoke inside. The cleanliness is not up to par at all...everything looks like it needs a major cleaning including chairs, equipment, floors, tables, etc.. That alone is enough to keep me away. I have been coming to this salon for a while. In the beginning it was great, but the last couple of times I've been there (most recent just last week), I have noticed the cleanliness seems to be lacking. Last week I observed dirty towels left lying around, nail polish bottles not put away, dirty margarita glass and food left on a manicure station and general clutter. This is a huge pet peeve for me, especially considering the salon was not at all busy when I arrived. If you cannot take the time to clean up these things (especially when the salon is not busy with customers), then I have serious doubts about how well you clean your manicure/pedicure equipment. This may seem like a small thing to some people, but it's a big thing to me. I'll be looking for another nail salon. read more
