Got a manicure and polish. By the next day, polish was flaking off. I stopped in and ask if this is what I can expect since it was my first at this studio. The receptionist said no guarantee, know I won't do it again . She explained that when you wash your hands, it washes the polish off. After my last visit two weeks ago, I was very disappointed. They used to do good work, but lately I noticed that they would do less than what is expected. I always get my pedicure and my fill done with shellac on both my hands and feet. The pedicures lack on the massage part but the rest has been o.k. The nails are alright, but they never get the length right. I've tried saying something but the technician will usually get irritated about it. I had asked for a manicure this last time (which I usually don't do but wanted it done this time). I've had these done at other places, so I know what it entails. All she did was rub a scrub on my arms and the top of my hands and then rub in some lotion. That was the WORST "manicure" I have ever had. I still paid but I will not be going there again. read more

I usually have Nancy who does a phenomenal job but I've had Stefanie (amazing and very detailed) then today I had Annie, I changed up the shape and was on a time crunch and they were so slammed.. She did such a great job. They always check with you during the process to make sure you're liking their work. I really wanted to like this place. It's spacious and clean. I walked in and was shown the colors - there were two whole displays of just dip powder, which is what I was getting, and the color options were amazing! I had a hard time choosing a color, but I decided on a pale baby blue. I usually get a baby pink. So I sit down, she starts removing my old dip and all is well, then she pulls out the blue I picked and it's literally green. She tests it on an acrylic nail and it's not even teal, it's straight green. So I happily go pick a different color and now I'm looking at the pinks. She comes with me and she pulls out the bottle of the ones I point to and they're all not the same color. I'm not even joking I picked like 10 different colors - green, pink, blue, it didn't matter. I see a blue that's kind of close, so we go and she puts in on my nail. Right away I ask her to layer it bc I can tell it's not right. It's like bright blue and I try to explain to her that it's too blue and you can tell she's irritated. So after trying to explain that I usually do the light, natural, pastel colors, I say can she just do white. So we do a milky white and that's great and all bc how can you mess up white but like, why are all the colors so different? The girl next to me also got a milky white with chrome, and she showed a handful of inspo pics to her tech, she had all these designs in mind, and the tech put the chrome on one finger to see if the girl liked it, and she said how it was a little silver, so the tech used a different chrome and it was the same deal. The girl tried to explain how it's more silver than pearly, gold, and she showed the inspo pic again, and the tech tried to tell her it was the lighting. I wanted to be like girl you're being gaslit rn. So the girl said ok no chrome, and the tech asked if she still wanted a bow design, and the girl asked the tech for her opinion and the tech was like don't ask me, everything I've done so far you don't like how it looks. !? It just sucks bc we pay a lot of money and we get treated poorly for wanting what we want! I paid $50.99 plus a 20% tip so $60.99 total and it's just plain white powder. I couldn't get any of the other ten colors I would've rather had. So idk it's not a horrible place, just disappointing. read more

I got a set of acrylics put on and the whole time they were making rude faces and nasty little comments, the guy who did mine ( his name was happy) he was filling my nails for a HOUR AND A HALF and when it came to the design he took forever to do it and it didn't even look right. They charged me $100 for some squiggles while my friends costed her $70. I went to this place specifically so they could do the design because the website photos had amazing design detail but unfortunately wasn't the case for me. Brian is truly amazing! I have been getting my nails done for decades and because we are military I have had them done all over the US and overseas. Having said that? Brian is by far the best. His foot massage will make you wish you could have a pedicure done everyday. He is soooo friendly and kind and gives great advice. We just retired and this is my forever nail home. Yesterday was my 2nd time at True Nail Studio. When I walked in I was met with amazing people and a lovely front desk lady. She helped me figure out how to make my nails look exactly like the picture. The lady who did my nails did an amazing job, she was super sweet, gentle with my nails, and was very precise. I really liked her. And like any other nail place I've been to if they've made a mistake and I didn't notice, they usually just kept going and then I noticed later. But she was amazing and when she made a mistake she fixed it even if I thought they looked great. she size to my nails perfect she shaped them perfect. And every once in a while someone would come around and ask me if I needed anything or how I was doing. If I'm being honest the pictures look the exact same. Salon time should be relaxing time but not here. First time here and I won't be back. I was rushed from the second I walked in. They didn't want me to choose certain regular nail polishes for my toes because I wasn't so gel on my hands. They tried over and over to convince me to get gel and not dip. They pressured me to get a high level pedicure. During the pedicure I kept flinching and he kept saying "it tickles?" And I kept saying no it hurts! Strangest "massage" I've ever gotten. No lotion, only some weird oil like liquid. I've gotten pedicures for over 30 yrs and this is in the top 5 worst ones. Never offered a drink of any kind. I don't know if they are different if you get their higher end services but I've never had a salon act this way. It's a beautiful salon to bad the service is so bad. I've now changed my mind, not getting my nails done after all. Too nervous after this awful pedicure. And my nails NEED to be done. But it's just not worth the anxiety and stress of staying. What I assume was a manager came over to ask how it was and I was honest about it and told her that was the reason I wasn't doing a manicure too. She offered nothing but a singular I am sorry. On a side note their selection of nail polish was not good either. But I would never write a review just about that. read more
