Prices are the highest I've ever seen for threading and I've lived in several major big cities. This business is definitely overcharging. Seems like this is happening a lot specifically in New Braunfels with most salons/spas. Local businesses think because there's been a influx of wealthy transplant moving to NB that they can increase their prices to a ridiculous amount. This place is charging $23 for eyebrow threading and upper lip $8. This is a very very basic spot with usually only 1 indian lady working so expect a wait time. If you arent familiar with threading prices the most they should be charging for eyebrows is $10-$12 and upper lip should be $5. I wouldn't recommend going and supporting those crazy prices for a service that just takes minutes and the only item they use is cheap thread. read more

I have one eyebrow that is thinner than the other and has a slightly higher arch so I'm super picky with who does my brows because I've had people not pay attention to the difference and then jack my brows up. I just moved here from SD so was really nervous to try a new brow lady but decided to try Sonya since she was closest and had great reviews. I pointed out the differences in my brows and said I wanted them to look as similar as possible. She did amazing. I'm obsessed with my brows. They actually look a lot more similar than they do in the picture because the picture doesn't capture the light hair that she left to grow back in. I will absolutely continue coming back. I love my brows, thank you! Like I said, my eyebrows already have a different arch and one was thinner than the other so don't let that scare you away from coming to get your brows threaded by Sonya. Visited this place on Saturday and overall had a great experience. I didn't make an appointment and walked in around 4:30pm. Waited about 15 minutes, which wasn't bad. It was a little pricey at $16.00 a person, but she did a great job. I was very happy with the reshaping. But my skin was a little irritated on Sunday with a couple a bumps, but gone by Monday. I was nervous with covid, but Sonya took many precautions. Wore gloves, required masks, and had the thread around her neck to avoid contact with her mouth. Overall, happy with the experience and would recommend to others. read more

I've got to say, I'm absolutely obsessed with this place. I've been there 3 times now and have left giddy with excitement every time. My eyebrows look perfect every. single. time. Their consistency is unbelievable and it's what will keep me coming back! I get my eyebrows threaded ($12) and tinted ($15). The tint is specially made by them and is the most natural looking tint I've ever come across. My experience has been that it can last 2-3 weeks as long as you avoid your eyebrows in the shower (which is obviously easier said than done, but if you try, it could help the life of the tint). The first time was a good experience but the last few times were not and my eyebrows were less than wanting to be seen in public with! I have since found a phenomenal place that makes me feel like they care and I'm not a quick 20 bucks. Plus, my eyebrows never looked better after going to this new place as well! Like for real, threaders here just don't have the skills! If you're in a bind I would come here but I would go to the European Wax center if I were you!!!! There they care and actually measure out your eyebrows to make sure they match! It's like this other place actually like's how you look and feel about their work! Sonya does an amazing job. I have always been very happy with the results. Unfortunately she is the only one providing service. The site states you can have anything from full face to eyebrows threaded, but when I go in for a full face she always asks me to wait as various walk ins come in after me for eyebrows. I understand being short staffed but if you cannot provide that service because of time or staff then it should be taken off the menu of services provided. I have since changed to another company that I went to this weekend. They did an amazing job and and I did not have to wait when other customers came. It was first come first serve service which is some thing I wish was offered at Sonyas. read more

I just went to get my eyebrows done here and I love how they turned out. I've never had threading done before and it didn't hurt at all. As far as the other reviewers go I don't think it's fair to leave a bad review when you go there all the time and you go one time and had a bad experience with someone else there. Just leave a tip instead of a review. Also, the other bad review said they paid $24 for their eyebrows. I just paid $12 for both. I guess just make sure Sonya is there to get everything done right. If she takes an appointments maybe just make an appt. then so you won't be surprised with someone else. read more

Both ladies are super sweet, VERY PROFESSIONAL, excellent hospitality and are very talented with their craft. The environment is ALWAYS clean and the sanitation policies and procedures are top notch! I feel very comfortable with going in and still receiving excellent service, even with COVID. The staff wears masks, just like the customers.
