I wanted a regular polish pedicure and big toe design and they started doing gel. I said I wanted just a regular polish which I have always done and they said it has to be gel. I asked is it because of the design I chose or can they pick the design for it. They said all designs because it'll take too long to dry if it gets messed up.. I never experienced this here or any nail place for that matter so I wasn't happy about that. Then I got my nails done gel with a photo to show an example of. She grabbed the color that was supposed to be a brown tan color and she started painting my nail and I asked if I could do more of a brown undertone she gets up and comes back with more of a darker mauve. She was clearly seeing purple in the photo when I was seeing brown so I ask if there's a brown nude color to get her to understand. She ends up getting two nudes and I didn't want to be rude and I just compromised and said that's fine... then in the photo there is a nail design but she kept skipping nails and not doing a base color when I kept saying, doesn't this need polish too and she kept telling me no. I had no idea if she was just waiting for one layer and doing it the second round or what but then realized she was trying to do multiple designs on my fingers that she never did a base on. I said no I just didn't want one design on one finger and she kept trying to correct me.. like hello, it's my hand.. I'm telling you I only want one. There was even another guy working there who clarified with me and was talking to her and she was still getting it wrong. Then there was a glitter nail on each hand and in the photo it was all gold glitter. The glitter she put on was a clear gold and each hand came out differently. One was more coated while the other wasn't. It's just all so off putting to be paying almost $150 for nails you didn't really ask for.
