I arrived the next day and was greeted by the owner whom was very pleasant and kind. Service was good though she trimmed my toe nails in a manner and rounded and I was not than accustomed. Place was a bit cluttered for me but some people function better in clutter, obviously I do not. Seemed clean. The price ($40) was a bit high, in my opinion, for a basic pedicure. I would say hate is a strong word but I hate this nail salon. the amount of times I have had to go back to get a nail put back on after falling off in two days of having them. I also have so much leftover acrylic on the underside of my nail it's not even funny. all my nails are chipping and the crazy part about all of this is that they have been on for 1 week... AND they were $90!!!! I will never waste my money here again! read more

I am a regular and love this place. They always do my nails exactly how I want them! Best place round the Lake.

I usually go into New Braunfels to get my nails done but I didn't have time to drive 30 mins and spend a couple hours getting them done before my daughter was out of school at 3. So, I went into Tip and Toe and they did a full set of acrylic nails (took my old ones off, the right way - not just lifting them off). One tech started my nails at a table and when they got the base of them done I was moved to the pedicure chair and the other nail tech did my pedicure while one shaped my nails up. They didn't nick me or cut me at all. My only complaint might be that my toe color isn't an exact match but they did their best matching it. It's just slightly different. After my pedicure was finished I went back to a table where the tech finished up my nails. Quick and efficient and they look good too. The price was reasonable. The inside could be updated and made to look a little nicer but overall it was a pleasure. I will go back. 4 out of 5 because my polish isn't the same color as my acrylic powder but they did try to match it, and the decor could be updated. read more

If i could give this place 0 stars I would. Horrible service today. They took forever!! The man doing my nails was so rough. He cut me a few times and I had to tell him how to cut my nails. The lady came over and tried to help. The more I complained the rougher he got. Terrible service. I will never return here. Does this guy Even have a license to do nails?? Tip and Tor Nail Spa in Canyon Lake is clean and friendly. The gentleman, Mike, doing my Deluxe pedicure did a great job. He was thorough but wasn't too rough. Mike offered us wine. My feet feel soft and toes look great! They have 9 pedicure chairs all looking to be in working order. They provide a great selection of colors to choose from. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because my husband paid for an upgraded pedicure for himself which includes all the services as the Deluxe but includes wax. The woman doing his pedi did not use the "cheese grater" and he loves and needs the "cheese grater". Overall, our experience was great! read more

I went in because of the positive reviews for this place, but I was very disappointed. My daughter and I went in to have her nails done, and a mani/pedi for me. There was only one other customer in there at first. There were only two employees, so I was a slight bit concerned that they would not be able to handle everyone. Well, I was absolutely correct, because about 4 or 5 more customers arrived soon after we did, and because of that, the lady doing my toes did an abysmal job. She rushed through my toes, leaving gaps where there was no polish. She also rushed through my manicure, leaving cuticles that were not trimmed. I paid $87.00 for my daughter and for me, and I will NEVER go back to this place. Please HIRE MORE PEOPLE if you want to be able to give the customer what they pay for! read more

Horrible place. Went in with a wedding party group of 6 on a Thursday, and by the weekend they were already peeling off. Today is the next Friday and I took off all of my polish because it was peeling so bad. Mind you I got shellac and they were super thick. They rushed the manicures and pedicures and were understaffed when we made an appointment 6 days in advance. If you're getting married in the hill country do not go here, go into town and find a better place. read more

After going a second time I can say I'm not as happy with the result this time compared to the last time, granted someone else was doing the work. This time I felt like the lady was rushing and not taking her time which resulted in mistakes. On one of my nails the whole nail isn't painted and my nails were so filed down that they look bad. I also got my toes done this time and wanted my toes and nails to match, well when I matched the color I painted my toes to the shellac selection they had, there was one shellac that looked exactly like the toe color I had done. Once it was all said and done the two colors are definitely not at all near the same color. It was as if the color they did have was no longer the one they currently had advertised. Not sure if I will be returning or not, considering I don't feel like I got my $60 worth... I raved about this place to a bunch of people and now they disappointed me. read more

This place is way to under staffed. Only two people and only one can actually do the painting and nails the other just helps with the pedicures. The lady is the only one who can really communicate with customers. They bounced back and forth between 5 people accomplishing nothing. The place it's self needs some work and to be cleaned up. While I was waiting for someone to finish my soak off (for an hour in which in the end I took my own polish off and got charged) they made two different mistakes on other people. I will not be coming back. One star is too much. read more
