I love coming here when I'm in town. Great food and everyone is so friendly. It's so much easier to share the sandwich and get a side item so you don't feel super full.

Po'Boy where the shrimp doesn't fit in the bread cause the bread is filled to the brim with lettuce.

03/22/2026, 10:32AM, Check #160, I normally come to Beyond Bread on a normal basis and they have been fairly consistent. This time it was too many issues to not bring up. My wife's order came out a completely different sandwich. The remake was made very sloppy. The Po' Boy sandwich was stuffed so full of lettuce the shrimp didn't even fit into the bread. The main issue is that I was served a ROTTEN apple. The outside of the apple was obviously soft and squishy and the core had MOLD! Why is the kitchen staff not trained to catch this? Why is the food expo not trained to catch this? When I brought it up to the manager, she didn't really seem to care. She did offer carrots or chips instead of my rotten and moldy apple but that was really it.

Yesterday went so well , we did another sandwich lunch session for different company. This could be a new thing.

Betty's Half with chips

I ordered the Betty's Brie 1/2 sandwich with chips. Service was busy but the food arrived quickly. Still unorganized about the line to order. There are plenty of tables inside and at the covered patio. It's warmer out there but in the fall it should be good. Betty's Brie is my favorite with the roast beef, Brie cheese, mayo and tomatoes. It's sometimes hard to eat because the bread is so hard so I have to deconstruct it. It's noisy when it's full. Plenty of parking.

Granola

I met a friend here as it's a central location for us. Based on the name, you wouldn't expect many gluten-free options. However, they have gluten free wraps for sandwiches, and the granola is gluten-free. As with other Beyond Bread locations, it's counter service. Place your order at the counter and take a card to the table that identifies your order. I selected the house granola with oat milk and a plain latte with oat milk. Both were good and delivered within 5 minutes of ordering. This location is large with plenty of room to chat with a friend or bring a medium-sized group from work. There is interior seating, as well as a screened outdoor area. My friend who can eat gluten gives a shout out to their pretzels.

Betty's Brie and Tomato Soup

Maintaining the same consistently high quality for over 25 years, and my favorite sandwich place in the Tucson area. Not only sandwiches, Beyond Bread is a cafe, which serves sandwiches (both hot and cold), a tasty breakfast menu, salads, soup and heavenly baked goods. Don't miss their Chocolate Bobka or King Cake. Everything I've tried on their menu has been tasty. My fave sandwich is the Betty's Brie: roast beef, Brie cheese, sliced tomatoes and mayo on a tooth breaker baguette. Too Yummy. My usual side is the tomato soup. Thick and creamy. I don't know how many pictures of a Betty's Brie I've posted over the years. And you'll see another Betty's Brie pic posted with this review. Want to eat in, inside and outside seating. A pleasant oasis. There are several good sandwich places in Tucson, and Beyond Bread remains a cut above

Gobble me up salad

I decided to stop here and get lunch to go. It's in the Safeway shopping area on the corner of Ina and Oracle. They have a couple of entrances. I parked in the back and walked through the enclosed patio to the entry where you order. They have a kiosk where you can put in a takeout order and pay there which was convenient. It didn't take too long to get my order. While you wait, you are tempted by the pastry and desserts and I gave in. I had the Gobble me up salad that is sliced turkey, greens, onions, cranberries, gouda cheese, and spiced nuts. It came with ranch dressing, bread and butter. The mix of flavors worked well and it was a large salad-could easily be 2 meals. I also gave in to the carrot cake which was huge. The carrot cake was good not great but enjoyed it.

I always enjoy visiting Beyond bread when I'm in Tucson. I always enjoy the fresh quality taste of their sandwiches. I often end up getting Rex revenge. Which is a Caesar salad sandwich. The gobble me up salad is also a very good option among many of their other menu items.

Staff were friendly. Love the sunroom. The Rueben with a rock-hard crust, and OJ, cost north of $16.00. Kudos for clean washrooms.

So good. So consistent. A Tucson staple! I go every time I'm visiting my family in Oro Valley.

Not overly sweet ....perfect. They are located in La Encantada near the Campbell entrance across from North. It's a walk up but no one seems to mind me pulling up and parking for a minute to grab my drinks. The pastries are delicious...Almond, Pistachio, Nutella, and White Chocolate croissants...worth the carbs and calories. The aesthetics are really cool. They just added a bench and have tables to sit if you want to sit for a while and get some work done. The vibes is fresh and elevated without a hint of pretentiousness. The employees are friendly and helpful. Parking is not an issue. I would highly recommend you check this coffee shop out. I go her almost daily and have only great things to say

I was after something basic, my usual of a cold brew with some variety of flavor and almond milk. Sadly, they did not have any sugar free flavorings beyond matcha, which I was not interested in, so I went for half sweet salted caramel with almond milk. I went with a large cold brew and with the add-ins, it came to around $5, which is a solid price! Sadly, the iced coffee was not good. It was borderline sour, which means it had been hanging out for a bit too long. The flavoring and milk couldn't even mask it and I could only stomach about half of it before calling it a day. Additionally, service was "bleh". Both baristas I encountered were low energy and just odd vibes for a cute local coffee shop. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, as it sounds like their more complex house drinks are a bit more exciting. Now I know, and I wouldn't mind giving them a second go when I find myself back in the area. But until then, solid 2.5 for me.

Teaspoon is one of the best overall restaurants in Tucson…read more I've been here a few times over the last year or so. It has never disappointed in service, quality or taste. (well once in taste, but I'll get to that) They have great in-house made items. Like the Challa bread, the preserves, their pesto. They most certainly know what they're doing. I had unseasoned filet mignon once, I believe it was the omelette. I talked to the manager. Now I wasnt upset, didn't send it back, I just told them what I experienced and mused that I found it odd the cook forgot a simple thing like salt. The manager acknowledged my complaint and that was all; or at least I was fine. Nope, she came back with a to-go box of croissants topped with cream and berries as an apology. They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. They have outdoor seating, which early in the morning is fine, but id avoid in the summer, which will likely mean you'll be waiting, depending on the time. Oh! I forgot to mention, they have very good drinks. They really are intentional about the blend of flavors, they have a little something for everyone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. It's been a shining star amongst Tucson restaurants and I am grateful they exist. Even to how they organize their menu partly by flavor profiles shows they genuinely LOVE food. I love food too, and I love here. Try this place. Today.

As a whole, I feel like the side pairing of challah toast with jam and butter is an odd choice. I also ordered the iced Thai tea, which was quite weak. Overall--I wasn't really feeling it. When you go to Teaspoon, you're really paying for ambience over quality. There's no issue with the service here, from hosts to wait staff. The food is simply underwhelming, and thus so is the experience. I wouldn't be mad to return, but I don't know if this would ever be my suggestion.
