Their modern and very comfortable store interiors have the feel of an upscale bakery or café, so it's a great place to sit and unwind with homemade bagels, muffins, wraps, salads, lattes, frozen drinks, and more. The bagel choices have all your favorites (and a few more) like Blueberry, Cinnamon Raisin, Egg, Everything, Onion, Plain, Poppy, Pumpernickel, Sesame, Whole Wheat, etc. The bagels are pretty big -the one we had with cream cheese and smoked salmon last night was five inches across, so a half was enough. Had a delicious egg sandwich made fresh. Still hot as I ate it. The prices are crazy high however. I do know I can get the same order for $4 - $5 less at another bagel shop. I did enjoy the piped in holiday tunes. I will stop in again soon to try a signature sandwich and soup. read more

I'm a bit of a bagel snob, but these were great. The staff behind the counter were nice and even jokes with me when I saw a giant Reese's PB cookie and had to have it. Location was clean and I liked the mural on the wall (admittedly I forgot Mark Twain had lived nearby). Went in to Between Rounds SW/Manchester around 8:15AM this morning. Saw nobody was in line and only one person waiting at the pickup window. I put in an order for a toasted bagel and then proceeded to wait a good 10 minutes for my bagel as person after person came in to pick up their online orders. I finally looked over the counter to see if my bagel had been forgotten. The girl behind the counter asked if I was waiting on a bagel, to which I replied yes. She then grabbed a bagel from the rack, cut and put in the toaster (this was probably 12 minutes after I ordered). I finally received my bagel about 15 minutes after I ordered. I'll be going to Dunkin next time for prompt service as I do not order food online. Perhaps you should put a sign at the door stating your online order preference policy so people like myself aren't getting the false impression that they will be in and out quickly with no one in line in front of them. read more

My first time here and I enjoyed the egg and cheese on a bagel. The bagel was fresh and it was a good sandwich. They have a good spread of bagels, muffins, scones and also flavors of coffee. I haven't tried their drinks, but their baggels and sandwiches are good. Friendly, chatty attendant, happy to just rush your order, or discuss your options for five minutes, depending on your preference. They have a reasonably sized menu board, although I will say that when looking for sandwitch options, I felt like there wasn't a lot of room for creativity. Came to this location for breakfast because I've always wondered what it was like but never had the motivation to go out of my way to try it out. On the way to work, stopped in to get a breakfast wrap (the Jenkins). Location: The location is overall well kept and maintained. The interior is clean and welcoming. Getting to the location from the opposite end is difficult as you would have to go far to do a u turn. Food: the wrap was well prepared and not messy. It was not too hot yet not cold. I've been meaning to give them a try since a friend raved about the banana hazelnut coffee! The morning I went in there was a choice of about 20 different coffee flavors (self serve). I tried a swig of banana hazelnut, but it want for me, so went with Jamaican Me Crazy which was quite tasty. I prefer flavored beans to syrups, so this gif the spot. I went with a cheddar bagel and it was very good. Crisp exterior, chewy interior, and a good amount of cheese. I try not to eat too many carbs, so when I indulge it has to be worth it! Chapter 1: Breakfast After hearing about Between Rounds during commercials for the last five years, I decided to give it a try. I had just left Cardio Express, and I wanted food, and a bagel was the perfect option. At first I thought I was just going to walk in to a world of bagels, dangling about from the ceiling, employees already in song and dance and I'd walk up, order a delicious breakfast sandwich and be on my way, but what I was in for was something completely different. Chapter 2: Sandwiches I walked in to boards upon boards of food and soups and lunch items and chips and a deli quick pick area, I was overwhelmed. What a wonderful little delicatessen I told myself. I also immediately realized that I wished there were other Between Rounds, and more of them, scattered about CT, this is only one of two locations that I've seen, but I don't often travel this way. I love their fresh and delicious bagels and cream cheese. Bought a Dozen Bagels to bring home to the family. My favorites are the Cheddar Cheese and the Everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. I simply cannot understand the three-star reviews here. Between Rounds is the greatest bagel place on the planet, hands down. Boar's Head deli meat for lunch sandwiches, freshly-cooked egg for the breakfast sandwiches, bagels are consistently delicious, lots of variety and plenty of options. The drive-thru is convenient and they have free wifi for guests. They even have a large back room where you can meet a large group or hunker down with your computer to get some work done. I eat here at least three times a week. Service is fast and efficient, the quality of the food is superb. The bagels are top-notch and the sandwiches are large and in charge. There's nothing better within 50 miles. Everywhere we go, we compare the quality to Between Rounds. They have set the standard and it is high. read more

Stop here every other Friday or so for a bagel and a coffee. The bagels are fresh and I particularly like their scallion and vegetable cream cheeses. When they toast the bagels, the cream cheese still stays thick, so you don't have to worry too much about spillage if you are grabbing it to go on your commute. They have a good selection of coffee, flavored and non. The service is decent - more efficient than overly friendly, but that's what I'd want in a morning bagel stop. I've been coming to this shop ever since I was a little kid, and it's always been very good. Bagels are always fresh, the hot drinks are good (even their hot chocolate, which is kind of surprising, since most other places do not do it justice), and their pastries are also very tasty. I always get their breakfast sandwiches, or for lunch, the All-American Heavyweight (bagel piled very high with three different kinds of meat, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and with chips and a pickle). All very tasty, and all very New England-y; out of towners would do well to stop here and try a really good bagel. ;) Only one star knocked off for customer service-it's hit or miss. I am disgusted!!! Completely unprofessional!!! I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese and when I went to eat it I found a hair in the cheese!! I recently was recommended to give this place a try. I was craving egg salad for lunch (Yummmy) and said sure...why not!!! This place is amazing. The options are endless. I had an egg salad on a wheat wrap with a pickle and a bag of chips (all sandwiches come with chips and a pickle). This place also has bakery items for any sweet tooth cravings. After I'd been out this morning to pick up my normal coffee, on the way to dropping my lovely son off to school, we passed this place. He remined me that had promised we'd check it out. It was early so why not. 1 its a nice place for breakfast and they have a decent menu, the bagles seem fresh at first glance. 2. they have lox spread as an option,but nope they don't carry that anymore(strike 1) 3. the bagles are fresh but, but when asked did I want the bagle toasted on the first order I told the counter person no, but she didn;t ask me for my second order which was a cheader bagle with butter ( i wanted that one toasted, cold butter on a cold bagle not so good)guess I should have spoke up. 4. they have a nice spread for the different coffees they offer but no napkins out and iIhad spilled alittle, the counter person seemed kinda aggitated that I asked for a napkin??? 5.I checked out the lunch items they had out already which were a few salads, they offer soup too but they were not ready yet. I only got a latte here, but I cannot wait to come and try the bakery next cheat day. The place is really aesthetically pleasing, both inside and out. The food looks fresh and delicious and they even sell their own cream cheese there. They also carry many flavors of Stewart's soda, which is always great. The staff are friendly and my latte is very good. One thing to be cautious about is the temperature of your drink.
