I've eaten here several times, and always excellent service with friendly staff. I recommend the loaded avocado . Yum, I've had several drinks and always tasty and on the healthier side. Really nice sitting area for catching up with a few friends, or get some work done while you wait. Limited short parking in front. Will get picks next time if I'm not too hungry.

Really yummy coffee with staff that's very fast and nice! Great study and chill vibes with the music being Lofi--just what I was looking for! + there is WiFi! Menu is also packed so definitely recommend checking this place out and getting something!! And definitelyyyyy staying/chilling for a bit because it's that nice.

This was my first visit to DoNo Cafe. Assuming you can find parking, and I was lucky enough to get parking right out front, the atmosphere at DoNo is great. Both inside and outside. Outside, you have a great view of Dunkin Donuts Park, and the skate park with the cool graffiti art. Inside, there's lots of brick, wood floors and cool ceiling tiles. The Christmas Tree was gorgeous. Service was friendly. I was not a big fan of my Black Ied Coffee though. It was decent going down, but it had a slight aftertaste I didn't love. It was drinkable. Just not my favorite. I didn't fully explore their other offerings, but they did have a plastic case full of donuts, bagels and muffins. They looked fine, but didn't stand out appearance-wise. 3.5 Stars

I've been coming to Dono Cafe for a little while now since I live in the Pennant, and it's time I finally left the review this place deserves! I ordered the Loaded Avocado toast--sourdough with a creamy avocado spread, housemade seasoning, melted mozzarella, bacon bits, and a balsamic fig drizzle. It was the perfect mix of textures and flavors--rich, savory, and just a touch of sweetness that brought it all together. I also grabbed a small Teddy Toast, which is a blend of honey, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and espresso. I chose oat milk, and it was smooth, warm, and cozy--like the coffee version of comfort. The service is always on point. Everyone I've interacted with is friendly, efficient, and clearly takes pride in what they do. Whether I'm in a rush or have time to linger, they always make me feel welcome and taken care of. Dono Cafe has quickly become one of my favorite spots downtown. If you haven't been yet--go. You'll be glad you did.

Stopped in on a coffee tour and I love how vibrant the space is. You can tell that a lot of time went into the interior decor and I particularly love the newspaper wall. It's such a comfortable space. I'll have to check it out and do some work from here one day. The baristas are super friendly and I'm a fan of anyone who has good vibes. They accommodated someone I was with so well and I appreciated that. I got an iced honey lavender latte with oat milk and it was delicious! Sweet but not too sweet and I think the size was perfect. Looking forward to my next visit.

Friendly customer service! I was greeted with a hello when walked into the cafe. The space is bright, spacious, and open. It has that modern feel to it but along with a chill vibe that makes you want to stay and hang out. The music in the background was just perfect for a morning pick up. Not the usual loud obnoxious music blasting. It was subtle. The area is undergoing some construction but safe and would recommend those who are either visiting the area for the local games in town or event, to talk a brisk walk over to this sweet spot for their unique drinks! I had the "beehive" and a strawberry croissant. They do have plain croissants, chocolate croissants, muffins, and three different types of bagels - plain, everything, and cinnamon raisin.

Ok experience here. Was looking for their latte art machine but they didn't have it working for some reason which was a little disappointing. Cool decor and good coffee. They have food items on the menu too and quick service. It's right next to Dunkin park which is convenient too.

Found this coffee shop walking distance from our rental apartment while visiting Hartford. Across the street from Dunkin Park, a spacious yet cozy spot for reading, socializing, working, enjoying one's morning cup of joe. Dasia our barista was super friendly. We ordered a hot cup of coffee and a Cafe con leche. There was a cartoon on the wall mounted TV which Dasia offered to decrease the volume of for us. And then within minutes she opted to switch completely over to some mellow ambient music which we really appreciated. If we lived here, we'd stop by often! Super comfortable couches and loungey chairs available. Super clean bathroom you can use with a key.

This cafe is amazing! Staff and baristas were so friendly and accommodating. The decor is beautiful and the aesthetic is choice! The breakfast wrap is insanely good, they gave me a sinus tea that is helping me get over a cold, 10/10 would recommend!!

DoNo Cafe is a beautiful addition to the downtown area. This space has such a warm, welcoming and cozy atmosphere. There are comfy couches and matching rugs, making it look like home. The tables are chests with little succulents and candles on top. The large windows provide plenty of natural sunlight. Whoever came up with the design idea, knew what they were doing. The parking situation isn't ideal. You can park on the street for a small fee. Lucky for me, I found a spot right in front of DoNo Cafe. I came here with my mom and my brother. I got their Almond Joy Latte, my mom got the capuccino and my brother got the hot chocolate. I was super let down by my latte. First, as beautiful as this place is, I thought it would only be fitting if my latte came in a proper ceramic cup, instead of the paper nonsense. Next, this was not at all a latte. It was some very weak coffee, with some syrups added. There wasn't any foam like you would typically find in a latte. The almond joy flavor was ok. My mom's cappuccino looked like a cappuccino, however, it had no taste of coffee at all, as if it had been made out of just milk. My brother seemed happy with his hot chocolate. DoNo Cafe is dog friendly. There was a beautiful dog, who got everyone's attention with her charm. DoNo Cafe is a beautiful coffee shop, that I hope could improve their coffee craft.

Love this cute coffee spot. It's about time we have a place like this in the metro area. I love the way this place feels warm and cozy and there is plenty of space. The sofa corners are great to have a group of friends to enjoy some chats and coffee. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The coffee was good and it's reasonably priced. I will be coming here for a morning pick me up.

The cafe is located across Dunkin Park. There are three to six 2-hr parking spaces paid by meter and one 15-minute space for quick pick-ups. I circled 3 times to verify before actually parking. It's absolutely cute, clean and nicely decorated. I am a little bummed all the plants are fake. It provides nice aesthetics although I would've loved to see real plants. There are plenty of couches to lounge on. Anyone working remotely can definitely use this as a work area for a change of scenery. My friend said so herself and considers coming in the future for that purpose. The staff are very pleasant and brought my beverage to my seat. I didn't get the chance to verify if they ever serve with mugs. That would be a nice option. They have some baked goods that I didn't get to try too. I wanted to try a different beverage so I got the Strawberry Beso. It wasn't bad, it was more so not my taste. Looking forward to coming back again and trying something else.

They have plenty of seating, some upholstered furniture and we saw a few Friday morning telecommuters working on their laptops and sipping their coffees. Our order was a Chai Latte and a Cold Brew - each was $5. The pours were very large, and I swear that my cold brew was the very best I've ever had. I love coffee, drinking it hot or cold, and what I had here is in my all-time Top Five Percent. It was that good. I had a sip of my wife's Chai Latte and thought it was excellent as well. What really impressed me were the flavors of both drinks- not overpowering, but strong enough to appreciate them. The Coffee Guy has it all - specialty coffees, matcha, chai, espresso drinks, and pastries and sweet treats to pair with your coffee cup. We couldn't resist grabbing a few on our way out, and we took home a box with a Spinach croissant, iced blueberry scone, and a cruffin (croissant/muffin hybrid). We loved our visit to the Coffee Guy, and I was so impressed by the total experience, I just subscribed to their newsletter. So the next time we're looking for a midday break or afternoon pick-me-up..... I know a guy!

I went to their downtown Hartford location. The space itself was comfortable, and the service was warm and welcoming. They don't offer as many specialty drinks or flavors as other places, but that's okay. Just keep that in mind. I ordered the honey mint cold brew. It was extremely straight forward, but also extremely tasty. The coffee was strong and had great depth of flavors. Very good quality coffee. The mint and honey complimented and highlighted it, playing only supporting roles. So that was all great. Unfortunately, the parking and traffic challenges that come with the downtown location will keep me from returning as often as I would like to. But if I were in the area, I'd happily make the stop! I have heard equally wonderful things about their Glastonbury location, though, so I'm excited to give that one a try too. If you're in the area, or just up to the Hartford traffic and parking, I would highly recommend Victus.

My honey latte was absolutely delicious, smooth, perfectly sweet, and beautifully made. There's also a cute outdoor seating area, great for relaxing with coffee on a nice day. Parking is on the street around the corner, since the street the shop is on is closed to cars and open to pedestrians only, which adds to the charm of the area. I can't believe some of the reviews. The coffee is roasted in house, the syrups are from scratch. If they could fit a cow in their (way too small) parking lot they'd probably have fresh milk and cream, too! Went in yesterday for a work meeting and the service was even better than usual. The vibe and atmosphere here is great for meetings, business or casual. My associate and I split a Siphon Pot to start. If you have the time, this is the very best way to enjoy your coffee. It really pulls the flavor out of the beans, on par with a pour over or aeropress, but it's also perfect for sharing. Afterwards, we both got Cortados, which were excellent, and I brought ice coffee back to the office for the man we left behind to run things. He sighed happily after sipping it, commenting that he could tell it was from J René. Why not 5 stars? The food is ok but I'm not a big fan of the pastries I've tried here. They're "fine". Normally my wife will get one and I'll try a bite or two. She's really into croissants and won't get them from here, saying they're a waste of money. The prices can feel a little steep here, especially compared to other good, local spots. Lastly, the parking lot is so tiny and during busy times of day the road can get crowded as well.
