This is a wonderful coffee shop in downtown Hartford! Very nice shop owners, with good coffee in a lovely space! Cafe Amore was a respite that I didn't expect, but I was very happy to have found!

The service was amazing and the desserts were such a delightful treat. The matcha was really high quality and tasted very rich and fine. The ambiance felt like it was gentle hug from 1950's with the outstanding music. Would 100% come back!

What a beautiful new gem!! I read about this café in a Hartford Business Journal article and patiently waited for them to open. Congrats to Michelle and Diana for such an achievement! The space is absolutely gorgeous and they have so many outlets, which isn't something I've had much luck with around Hartford tbh. Their menu has lots of options, including a few breakfast items like bagels and baked goods. I opted to try a Sweet Life latte instead of my usual Matcha. The suite life came with a syrup choice so I got pistachio. It was delicious and kept me super warm. I'm looking forward to trying the Matcha soon. They are located on Main Street right across from the Butler McCook house, which is next to the courthouse. Parking is mostly on the street but service is quick and easy.

Cafe Amore recently opened on Main Street across the court house and it's absolutely relaxing inside! They have music playing to create that intimate vibe. There's a few outlets around near the tables if you want to come in and do some work. The WiFi password is on the counter with the paper goods. They have an assortment of coffees, smoothies and teas as well. I ordered a cortado with hazelnut syrup and she brought it over for me at the table. I love this quality service. I am looking forward to this establishments growth!

Pleasant, quaint spot with classics playing over the sound system. A nice place to join friends to catch up, get some work done, or just sit and reflect over a hot or cold beverage.

Stepping into this little café felt like walking into a warm hug. The decor is absolutely beautiful--soft lighting, cozy seating nooks, and charming vintage touches that make you want to stay for hours. There's an effortless elegance to the space, with fresh flowers on the tables and quiet jazzy music floating in the background that creates the perfect, relaxed vibe for reading, catching up with a friend, or simply savoring a quiet moment. The pastry selection is to die for--flaky, buttery, and clearly made with love. I had a chocolate croissant that melted in my mouth, paired with one of the best matcha lattes I've ever had: smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced. You can tell they care about quality in every detail. This place is a hidden gem, and I can't wait to return for another slow morning or peaceful afternoon escape. The service was excellent.

Diana and Michelle are two young immigrants from Ecuador who have just opened their own coffee shop called Cafe Amore. I didn't know today would be their grand opening. I was so warmly welcomed upon waking inside the super busy cafe. They handed me a fresh white carnation with a bow around it. What's more fitting than fresh flowers from a place with Amore in the name? Their exposed brick arch, adds a very charming effect to this adorable coffee shop. The one side is more lively, perfect for social coffee drinkers, and behind the arch one might find it a good spot to bring their computer, while independently enjoying their coffee of choice. I got a Pistachio latte. Upon ordering I told either Michelle or Diana I'd like it "for here". They must have not had a chance to run the dishwasher, since my drink arrived in a to go cup. Also, not a single other person had the ceramic cups. Their coffee is super strong and caffeinated! It was also very tasty, and foamy. Truly, very good coffee! Where I was sitting behind the arch, they had little vases of roses and blue and white carnations. Sadly not a drop of water was in the vases. The roses were completely dry. They must have been so busy, they forgot to give them water. Maybe it's crossing the line, but I threw out the dry flowers and went to the restroom and filled the vases with water. They looked so much better, and that took no time at all. Later a gentleman came to ask how everything was, I told him the coffee was excellent, I also told him about the waterless flowers. He thanked me and said he would pass the word to the owners. Cafe Amore is brand new, with some very minor hiccups. Their space is so beautiful, but most importantly their coffee is delicious!

Absolutely delicious and beautiful inside! Amazing service !!!! 100000/10 not from the area but I would definitely make the trip back

Smoothie (banana/mango and they also have strawberry), drip coffee with oatmilk, decaf latte and bagels.

This man makes a MEAN latte, 10/10, I tried to take a photo but I chugged half of the coffee before I even got out of the parking lot! They have plenty of seating, some upholstered furniture and we saw a few Friday morning telecommuters working on their laptops and sipping their coffees. Our order was a Chai Latte and a Cold Brew - each was $5. The pours were very large, and I swear that my cold brew was the very best I've ever had. I love coffee, drinking it hot or cold, and what I had here is in my all-time Top Five Percent. It was that good. I had a sip of my wife's Chai Latte and thought it was excellent as well. What really impressed me were the flavors of both drinks- not overpowering, but strong enough to appreciate them. The Coffee Guy has it all - specialty coffees, matcha, chai, espresso drinks, and pastries and sweet treats to pair with your coffee cup. We couldn't resist grabbing a few on our way out, and we took home a box with a Spinach croissant, iced blueberry scone, and a cruffin (croissant/muffin hybrid). We loved our visit to the Coffee Guy, and I was so impressed by the total experience, I just subscribed to their newsletter. So the next time we're looking for a midday break or afternoon pick-me-up..... I know a guy!

I went to their downtown Hartford location. The space itself was comfortable, and the service was warm and welcoming. They don't offer as many specialty drinks or flavors as other places, but that's okay. Just keep that in mind. I ordered the honey mint cold brew. It was extremely straight forward, but also extremely tasty. The coffee was strong and had great depth of flavors. Very good quality coffee. The mint and honey complimented and highlighted it, playing only supporting roles. So that was all great. Unfortunately, the parking and traffic challenges that come with the downtown location will keep me from returning as often as I would like to. But if I were in the area, I'd happily make the stop! I have heard equally wonderful things about their Glastonbury location, though, so I'm excited to give that one a try too. If you're in the area, or just up to the Hartford traffic and parking, I would highly recommend Victus.

My honey latte was absolutely delicious, smooth, perfectly sweet, and beautifully made. There's also a cute outdoor seating area, great for relaxing with coffee on a nice day. Parking is on the street around the corner, since the street the shop is on is closed to cars and open to pedestrians only, which adds to the charm of the area. You order at the counter, get a number, and they bring your food right to your table. When you're finished, you clear your own dishes to the bin, which keeps the place tidy. I also noticed the staff going around regularly wiping tables and keeping everything clean and welcoming. Overall, Bloom Bake Shop has a great vibe, tasty food, and friendly service. Definitely worth checking out!

I can't believe some of the reviews. The coffee is roasted in house, the syrups are from scratch. If they could fit a cow in their (way too small) parking lot they'd probably have fresh milk and cream, too! Went in yesterday for a work meeting and the service was even better than usual. The vibe and atmosphere here is great for meetings, business or casual. My associate and I split a Siphon Pot to start. If you have the time, this is the very best way to enjoy your coffee. It really pulls the flavor out of the beans, on par with a pour over or aeropress, but it's also perfect for sharing. Afterwards, we both got Cortados, which were excellent, and I brought ice coffee back to the office for the man we left behind to run things. He sighed happily after sipping it, commenting that he could tell it was from J René. Why not 5 stars? The food is ok but I'm not a big fan of the pastries I've tried here. They're "fine". Normally my wife will get one and I'll try a bite or two. She's really into croissants and won't get them from here, saying they're a waste of money. The prices can feel a little steep here, especially compared to other good, local spots. Lastly, the parking lot is so tiny and during busy times of day the road can get crowded as well.

And apparently the only cold foam option was flavored, which wasn't really what I was looking for. The staff I interacted with were very nice, which I appreciated. I did notice that right after taking my order, one of the employees was checking her cell phone. Maybe it's allowed, but seeing phones being used out front where customers are standing was a little surprising to me. And one other thing that caught my eye... there was a Dunkin' Donuts bag sitting on the back bar behind the barista. Not exactly the impression I'd want to see at a specialty coffee shop! Overall, Rebel Dog has a lot going for it--the atmosphere, patio, parking, and location are all great. It definitely got busy while I was there, so clearly people are enjoying it.
