Came here on a random Tuesday morning. Looking to try this place for a while, so I made the trek. It's not the easiest place to spot. It's in an industrial park and the signage is light. Looks like a decent sized ranch right beside the warehouses. The ordering system was interesting, they have menu boards but also paper menus in a mailbox next to the doorbell you use to order. The staff were nice, walked my through the menu and specials. I got a banana bread latte, an east willow hog on cheddar everything, and a bag of their day-olds for later. The latte was okay. A little heavy on the sweet do it was very decadent. Couldn't taste the coffee, which is a shame cause they sold the beans outside and I was hoping for the coffee to shine a bit. The sandwich was really good. The pesto was a little too oily, combined with the bagel and sausage made it a tad greasy. The sausage was very solid, needed a little pepper to spice things up a tad. But the rest was very tasty, cooked well and the bagel was nice and soft but crispy on the cut side. It's a very good local bagel spot. A hidden gem for the people of Manchester to get good bites from a truly local shop. I think their prices are a little high but right for the area and the quality justifies the price. Tried out Seed Kitchen & Bagelry for breakfast today. It's in an industrial area with takeout or sit outside options. It was a bit confusing for a first timer on where to go to order(it's on the outside deck) but the staff was friendly went I went inside. I tried their breakfast wrap (spinach wrap, scrambled eggs, hash brown, cheese, tomato and red onion with a pesto aioli) which was amazing! I loved it! I really wanted to try a bagel sandwich but it seemed like the only option was fried egg of which I am not a fan. In all fairness, I didn't ask. I will next time. I also had an iced decaf vanilla latte which I enjoyed. The outdoor seating area is abundant and quite nice. There were a lot of to go orders while I sat there. I am usually in the area once a year, and when I go I love to grab Seed. It is extremely important that you order ahead, as the wait can be upwards of 30 minutes if you order at the window. However, the bagels are worth the wait. I particularly enjoyed a sesame bagel with egg, bacon, arugula, tomato, and avocado, as well as a nice dark roast coffee. Unfortunately this location has nowhere to sit inside, but lots of nice outdoor seating in the warmer months. Would highly recommend! read more

It's a fun place to either pick up, or sit outside and eat. It is not a sit inside kinda place. The staff were extremely friendly and were very pleasant to deal with. The food was SO good, and so worth going for. I live 35 mins away, I went cause this place was highly recommended, and i am so glad we went. The sandwich was EXCELLENT, and moves to the top of my morning breakfast sandwiches! The flavors exploded in my mouth, everything tasted so fresh! The Lattes was very good, i am glad i got the large. Was looking for a great sandwich ordered online and picked up as scheduled. This had to be one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. My coworker ordered a turkey sandwich and was also very pleasantly surprised. We are already planning our next lunch order ! This is such a cute place to grab some good breakfast sandwiches and coffee. I recently stopped by for the first time and ordered the monthly special Be Mine Cold Brew with the Miss Figgy sandwich. Food: The food was fantastic. So much so that we ate in car and went back up to order more once we agreed that it was indeed excellent. Cream cheese is like a fluffy cloud of snow for a newborn deer to lay on (haha). Bagel is pillowy, large, and has a great toast to it (ordered toasted). A girl in line got the Banana French Toast Latte and said it was amazing. Service: Stellar window service with an electronic bell to ring for prompt attention. Well I hope they are hiring because I will need to find this new habit! Always looking for a good breakfast sandwich so I googled placed along my commute and happened upon Seed. It's a quaint take out only kitchen. The order windows is on the deck with plenty of outdoor tables and a few picnic benches. I ordered the East willow hog on a cheddar everything bagel and iced banana French toast latte. The sandwich is sausage egg and provolone cheese with caramelized onions, tomato, sriracha and a house made pesto (no nuts). Insane! The flavors all blend to a deliciously addictive sandwich. A simple answer to a quick nosh in Glastonbury. Located in an unassuming location, Seed is not as busy as some of your other bagel options in town. In a building reminiscent of a log cabin home, this business is located near the Irish American Home in Glastonbury. Ordering and pick ups are done in the back of the building. The front door is for deliveries and employees only. There's plenty of seating located outside that is perfect on days that are better than our visit today. After looking over the menu on the wall, we rang a bell, and an employee greeted us to take our order. A few minutes later, we were called to the pick up area to grab our plain bagel with plain cream cheese. Prices are decent, wait was almost nonexistent. We'll be back for sure. Would say 3.5 stars if I could and probably 4 if they just had decaf coffee and had the full menu on weekends. It's take out (outside) only. And apparently the thing to do is order ahead which I wish I knew about before going there. It's clear that the locals know this and are prepared. We ordered at the window and it took a solid 20 mins to get our 2 bagels, side bacon, a black coffee and juice. In that time sooo many online to go orders came and left so that's definitely the way to go! Especially if you have young children like myself. The bagels though and cream cheese are very good!! My daughter loved the wild berry cream cheese. She said it was amazing. My son ate up his bacon and my husband enjoyed his traditional sandwich. The menu pic on here shows yogurt bowls but apparently they do not do those on the weekend. That was disappointing because my toddler doesn't eat bagels but I had seen the yogurt bowls so that's why we came here. Settled for the side of bacon for him and got him more food elsewhere. I got a dark roast coffee- it was ok, honestly not great but not bad. Kind've expected a better coffee to be honest. They do not have decaf coffee- my husband can't have caffeine so that was a little disappointing. He settled for a chamomile tea. I tried the traditional lox sandwich with an everything bagel. This is my first lox bagel sandwich. It was prepared with whipped cream cheese, capers, smoked lox, greens, thinly sliced red onions and tomatoes. I ate the whole sandwich. I liked how each bite was a bit different. Some bites had more lox, other bites had some caraway seeds from the bagel and some bites got a bit of all the the ingredients. I would return to Seed and try another sandwich. read more

Ever since I started commuting at earlier hours, Seed has been my go to for good breakfast on the go. They have consistently great bagels and unique combinations not found elsewhere. My go to and usual is the road runner! I usually like this as a morning sandwich (even though it's listed as lunch) as it keeps me filled from early commute to when I forget to eat lunch later at work. The cherry peppers give it a nice kick and the chicken is never dry but super crispy. I always get it even if it's a mess. I truly enjoy that I can get on the app and pick any sandwich and any type of bagel. The cheddar bagel is absolutely what I look for in a bagel sandwich While Seed is still takeout only (which happened because of the pandemic), it makes an efficient way to get fast food but support local. Delicious "bagelry" in the area! We placed a large order one Saturday morning (10 breakfast sandwiches total). Everyone loved what they received! We ordered online and the order was ready at the time it said it would be. Further, everything was prepared accurately. The only time we engaged with staff was when we picked up the order, and they were friendly. I couldn't quite give 5 stars for two reasons. First is price. A breakfast sandwich with a meat, egg, and cheese (with a hash brown on the side) seemed to cost around $10-$12 on average for our group. Second is the "takeout only" status. Would be great to have a place to sit in! They had a few outdoor seats but it was too chilly in January to sit outside. Note - despite all of the half bagels in my photos, the sandwiches they serve are all on FULL bagels. We were simply too hungry to wait for photos! read more

Went to Seed for the first time and happy I tried it. So many good menu items to choose from, this time I grabbed an Avo Lox on a plain bagel. My favorite breakfast spot! Seed is located in southern Glastonbury and has an extensive menu of bagel sandwiches, salads, sides, and drinks. Seed is take out only, and you can order either at the counter or through the toast app. I order through the app and the food is always fast and my order is always accurate. Staff is friendly and available for questions and recommendations. The building itself is cute, with a porch and lots of outdoor seating for guests. Seed has excellent bagels with a huge variety of customization options. I also like how they are constantly adding new menu items, such as salads and new sandwiches. The items are fresh, and they use local ingredients. They use in season fruits and vegetables that make the food extra good. A local bagel store in Glastonbury, come here for awesome Bagels and Breakfast Sandwiches, they do also have lunch and Supper options. It was raining this morning so they had only take out. The ordering is by a window you will need to ring a bell if you are ready to order. Ordering is quick they have a variety of bagels and sandwiches. I ordered the sausage waffle sandwich it was tasty but personally it was too sweet for me, goes well with a cup of Joe in the side. The bagels they serve they put a generous amount of your choice of cream cheese of your choice. The prices for bagels are decent but sandwiches are slightly high but they taste good so it may be worth it. Place is decent and is tucked back in an industrial route, away from main roads. But is close to the Freeway. If you are In Glastonbury try coming out for some decent bagels and food. I can see why this has become a go to bagel place east of the river. Although they do all their ordering on line or through take out Seed Bagel shop still produces quality bagels, sandwiches and other delights to quell thay breakfast or. lunch hunger. I had headed there after a recent race ravenous. (Because carbs) I had pre ordered and knew it probably was not yet ready (it wasn't) but who ever was handling the customers noticed my bib and medal and asked if I wanted a Dudes Donut. I was shocked and elated because I had tried to order one in line but was told they were sold out. She brought me out a wonderfully simple and delicious sugary donut that leveled out my blood sugar (HA) while I waited. And it was worth the wait! My sandwich had a nice bite to it and was filled with what I needed to re fuel and revive myself! It's ticked away in Glastonbury but worth the drive. read more

Ok, so I just have to say that EVERY time I've come here has been such a pleasant experience. The staff is awesome and so friendly! The bagels are amazing too. Though it's located in a commerce area that's a bit out of the way, it's worth hunting them down! It's only take-out, but there is a beautiful fenced in grassy area off the deck with plenty of seating. As you sit there on a sunny day listening to the birds chirping, you almost forget you're in a commerce park. So relaxing!! read more

I picked up a Vegan Bagel Sandwich on Cheddar Everything, a sesame bagel and veggie cream cheese this week. My wife has heard me say dozens of times over the years, that I love a sandwich with sprouts. You don't see sprouts as an option very often, but they provide a fresh taste and a layered, fibrous texture. The description of the Vegan sandwich on the Seed online ordering platform does not list sprouts as an ingredient. The problem is that the picture next to the Vegan Bagel Sandwich is about 60% sprouts. I paid more attention to the picture than the description, which listed arugula, avocado, red pepper hummus, cucumbers and pickled carrots. So I was excited about sprouts. I suspect I would have given the sprout version of the Vegan Bagel Sandwich 5 Stars. I wouldn't have ordered the arugula version of the Vegan Bagel Sandwich had I realized. But I got it, and now I have to rate it 4 Stars because (1) I don't love arugula unless there is a significant sweet and/or sour counter to the bitter arugula flavor and this sandwich didn't have enough of those flavors; and (2) the arugula seemed a bit past prime. The bagel and veggie cream cheese are always very good, but I've already rated them. I'll be back to try a different sandwich and/or for another bagel with cream cheese. read more

So glad we finally tried Seed Bagel! It's been on my list for quite some time. On a Friday off from work, I decided it was the perfect time to visit. We ordered online and when we arrived for pickup, I was pleasantly surprised to see the setup. All the online orders are left outside under a heatlamp which I thought was a nice touch. They even have "yesterday's bagels" for $3 and you leave cash in a jar for it - very cool! There was also a deck with cozy outdoor seating where you can pickup your order and enjoy onsite. No indoor seating or in-person ordering at this time, but I'm sure that will be changing soon. I enjoyed the Bacon 'N Hash Brown which I ordered on a bacon habenaro bagel (because of course you need MORE bacon). It was PHENOMENAL. It had fried egg, bacon, chive cream cheese, and a hash brown. The bagel was soft and chewy and the flavor was exceptional. The hash brown stayed perfectly crispy, it was the perfect touch. I also enjoyed how they used cream cheese instead of a sauce. Definitely a fan!! The husband got the Sausage 'N Waffle which was odd because I'm usually the sweet & salty gal ;) but he LOVED it. The blueberry cream cheese compliments the savory sausage for that sweet and salty perfection! The only downside is the price, but being in Glastonbury...that's to be expected. It came to $35 for our two sandwiches and coffees, plus tip. Kind of crazy when it's breakfast and just bagel sandwiches. But, you're paying for an artisanal bagel here. If you want something quick and cheap, head over to your local fast food joint. This might not be our everyday breakfast stop, but they sure are good and worth it for a treat! read more

These are legit bagels. That's probably the best and most important thing to know. Really enjoyed my everything bagel which had a great outer crust, tender inside, and a good size to hold a nice sandwich. The breakfast sandwich had Gruyère cheese, a huge hit. And the bacon was crispy and delish. They get dinged a half a star for overcooked scrambled eggs. A little browned for my taste. But not much else to complain about. They are takeout only and leave the food on a table outside. I look forward to coming back. read more

I really do love the bagels here and the variety and quality of the sandwiches is quite high. The outside area is lovely and inviting. However, I do believe that a bagel with spread and a cup of coffee should not cost over $12. I was aware of their high prices before I came here, and so that part was not unexpected. What was unexpected was that when I paid thus outrageous price and she asked if I would like to leave a gratuity and I said they could add a dollar she looked disgruntled at me and did not even thank me although I did hear her friendly thanks to some other customers who gave larger tips for larger orders. In addition, it took 35 minutes for them to bring my bagel and coffee to me. As such while I give high grades for the food, everything else is a poor experience, and I cannot recommend Seed over other choices. read more
