As someone who treks a lot around the state, I find that there are many bakeries that do similar if not better items for comparable if not lower prices. But to ask someone to drive 30-60 minutes just to get something a couple bucks cheaper that's tastes about the same? It's a hard sale. I will say that Luanne's is the best in that area of the state, not including the small boutique places that are well off the beaten path. My biscuit was wonderful, savory, flavorful, soft and fresh! My wife's Orange Scone was great with a nice orange flavor. Both versions of the drip coffee were flavorful and satisfying.
