My friend brought me a gluten free bagel from here earlier this week and it was pretty good. I came back today to try something else. I got a sausage breakfast burrito for my partner and a lox on gluten free bagel for me. There are pastries and desserts available here as well. Non of which are gluten free but there is a good variety, and they seem to have a substantial caffeine menu. The service today is a bit slow even though I called to pick up but they were apologetic and it could have just been an off day. Pretty quiet if you want to get some work done but that's if you have a table like in any coffee shop. There is lots of parking which is also a plus!

Good coffee, cozy atmosphere, very green staff Randomly searching for a new place to try, saw that the baker and brew swapped to this location. So I swung in to give them a new try. Decoration wise, it's a much more open and lighted experience. It's no longer trying to copy a Starbucks but instead a much more home-y vibe. Displays are well lit, clean but also open and inviting. There's no traffic flow, so people weave around the dining area to queue up. The staff is very friendly, but they are a little disorganized and unfamiliar with the items on their menu. I got an afrolatte, a combo of a latte with ice cream. Along with an apple crisp açaí bowl, a chocolate chip cookie, and a "pregel" a pretzel bagel. Food came out in a strange order. I got the cookie and bagel delivered to me on separate plates, with a fork and knife with the bagel. I got my drink announced so I had to go pick it up, then the açaí bowl was delivered last in a to-go container with honey residue all over the bottom and no spoon. The afrolatte was not bad. It was more like a milkshake than your traditional latte. The coffee was strong enough to not get lost in the cavalcade of chocolate ice cream, but it was very rich. Had to throw away half of it. The "pragel", it was sound in concept but lacking in execution. It was made relatively recently, but was still dethawing. it was lacking the buttery outside and salt one would anticipate from a pretzel. Even a plain pretzel would have a chewy exterior with a soft interior, and this one was more akin to bread than bagel. The açaí bowl was overly sweet. They went a little too heavy on the honey and delivered a sugar laden fruit bowl. It's clear they have not made many of these bowls, and it shows in spades. The biggest issue not being the mess of honey and lack of utinsels, but the açaí being not fully blended. It was closer to sorbet, icy and gritty. The chocolate chip cookie was good, made relatively recently and a good size for the price. Was a dollar more than the pregel, but much better in quality. My experience here was lackluster, but a lot of what I experienced is fixable. The coffee is good, but the coffee menu is way too small. Puts emphasis on items the staff can't prep, and leads to a hunt to find Items to order. Get rid of the açaí bowls, add the afrolatte and afroletto to the coffee menu, leave ice cream to bowl sizes and to a single column. Remove bakery items from menu, label and price them by each item in the cases. Emphasize coffee drinks and food, pictures of featured items are great, and generic pricing for standard cafe drinks. If you want to go very fancy, switch the menu between breakfast and lunch to focus more on food after 11am. Organize the staff, get them familiar with the menu and items. Get a set delivery process and stick with it. Given the business, numbered placards might be handy. If they can do all that, I would imagine the experience being top notch and this place being a very solid option from your normal chain cafe place. It needs that polish though to truly shine It's okay for coffee, but they very much are still figuring out how to run. Stick with the basics and you should be okay.

Greeted warmly, I placed my order for a Polish plate, consisting of Golobki (stuffed cabbage) a generous serving of kielbasa with sauerkraut, and three pierogi. Rye bread was served on the side. I also got a green tea to wash it all down with. All this was around $15 plus the tip. Let me tell you, the reason why I said it was like going to my mother's house was this place is culture at its finest for the Polish heritage I absolutely loved the Kielbasa and sauerkraut, and the pierogi were out of this world and you could tell they were homemade with love. The Golobki was good. If I said it was better than my mother's, there would be hell to pay! Serving containers of spicy mustard for the kielbasa, sour cream for the pierogi, and a beautiful horseradish sauce was for whatever your pleasure. This had a kick and it was amazing. The restaurant is super clean, and decorated with lots of thought. I loved the menu. I thought the many choices were to be ordered on the future times I frequent this place Now I see all the rave this place has, and this could be a regular stop. Thanks again Belvedere of East Windsor for your gracious service and delicious food. You are well deserving of the five stars. Until next time!

On April 11, I rushed my family off the plane in order to get to these guys to grab a quick-but-tasty dinner before embarking on the remaining two hours of our long day of travel back to Westport. We arrived at 7:30 PM, 30 minutes before closing. Unfortunately, rather than having great pizza, great fried chicken, and an amazing grinder, we were instead served what felt more like the food that comes off of a gas station countertop diner than it did a restaurant that has WOW'd me in the past with they're fantastic food and friendly service. The greeting we received when we walked in; even though it was 30 minutes before closing, was less than enthusiastic to see us... it was clear right off the bat that everybody behind the counter was far more concerned about having their key in the front door at 7:59 then they were delivering great food and service. The grinder was OK. The fried chicken was pliable, but a couple of the pieces we ordered were dried out and shriveled up from sitting too long. The slices of pizza that we ordered, the guy didn't even bother, warming them up. Just pulled them out of the pizza slice case and threw them into a box... either that or if he did attempt to warm them up, they must've already turned the ovens off, and they threw it into a cold oven. A word of advice for the management of this restaurant, if you want to be out the door by 8 PM, close your restaurant at 7 PM so nobody comes in and bothers you all while you're trying to clean. To be fair, if you're thinking about this restaurant as a great stop for lunch, I would still recommend it as the food is ordinarily pretty good (and fresh at that time ) I've eaten here several times and I've never been disappointed.

Found H & M on a whim while staying at a hotel down the street, and stopped in with the hope of ordering a delicious grinder for my wife and I to enjoy for dinner. What I ended up getting was a massive feast for a family that lasted us the night, then the morning after, and the long haul flight that following afternoon. The best part? The ingredients are so fresh, the grinder stayed just as flavorful when eating it on the plane the next day! I couldn't even tell that I put it in the fridge overnight. Try that with a chain sandwich and it's risky business. My recommendation? Order the Italian Combo (cold grinder) and make sure you have about 3 friends handy to devour the thing in one sitting. Or it can be divided into meal prep for a few days! Thanks for the awesome service and delicious grinder, H & M!

I ordered a 1/2 Reuben sub, 10 wings, and an order of fries--total came to $34+ before tip (I tipped 20%). Waited over 45 minutes, which was already frustrating. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for it. The wings were overcooked--dry, tough, and lacked flavor. The Reuben was even more disappointing. The corned beef tasted bland and processed, almost like it had been frozen for too long and reheated. There was an overwhelming amount of meat but barely any sauerkraut or Swiss cheese, making the sandwich very unbalanced and not enjoyable. I grew up working in my family's restaurant, and one thing my dad always emphasized: it takes a long time to earn a customer, but only a second to lose one. I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve.

Made the trek to this little diner to give them a try. The space is small but spacious. Lots of two seat tables and a small bench. Place is cash only, so make sure to hit up an atm before going. Servers were very attentive and friendly. Made multiple coffee refill runs. The coffee is diner coffee, functional but not great. I opted for their French toast bake special, cause I'm a sucker for a good lost bread. No ice cream, so had to do with whipped cream. Had real maple syrup at an upcharge, but could get a half sized version for cheaper. Food came out quickly, took pics and dug in. The bacon was crispy, only a couple lighter spots towards the ends. Whipped cream was from a can, functional. The actual French toast was very well done. Custardy, not very sweet but consistency was on point. Berries were good, but not very noticeable in a full bite. The syrup really helped in getting that true French toast bite of savory, sweet, and warm custardy tastiness. Needed a little more cinnamon and nutmeg in the egg soak to give it flavor throughout, and coated the fruit in sugar or lemon juice to amplify the fruit sweetness. Price wise, was pretty affordable. Everything came out to about 17 bucks which was a good price for the quality offered. As a meal, it was a rather tasty dish for the price. It knows it's a diner style place and they take the same corner cuts that diners usually take. But this makes them a very good choice for locals to get a good breakfast. So I don't trek here for their offerings, but for the area they are a great choice.
