First time here. Overall loved it there. The inside is comfy and not loud. We were seated right away. When you walk in, you are greeted by not only the staff but a bakery window of delicious looking desserts. The food was delicious. I had the Strawberry Ricotta French Toast and my friend had the Irish Benedict. The staff were super friendly. We plan to try their after hours menu soon.

I've reviewed Woke before on their breakfast menu. They just added lunch M-F starting at 11:00am. I decided to give it a try but ordering takeout rather than eating in. I ordered at the counter and service was fast and polite. I ordered a chorizo burrito. It was substantial and served with some tortilla chips with salsa on the side. The burrito was flavorful. I love chorizo but it is messy so be forewarned if wearing white. The burrito includes rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato and avocado as well as a protein. I highly recommend. The only thing that would make it even more delicious is if I could add an egg to make it a breakfast burrito! Hint hint....

I am always on the lookout for breakfast places. Driving down Main Street in Coventry Sunday, we noticed a newly opened place - Woke. Decided to come back Monday morning to try it. Wow - what a cute, clean, upscale looking place this is. It is small though - just 5 - 4 person booths & 3 or 4- 2 person tables. It was Monday morning, so we got seated right away. I tried the huevos rancheros (1st time), served with rice & beans. Had the spicy green sauce on the side. My husband had an omelette/home fries/toast. Both really good. Coffee was wonderful - bit strong which is how I like it. So, I'm coming back. Since I'm retired, I can go on a weekday ( guessing will be too crowded on a weekend). And, next time I'll get the churro crepes.

excellent very excellent food. Their crêpes are out of this world. Their service is out of this world too bad I couldn't picture put pictures up here of all the night staff. Well worth going for. Absolutely beautiful inside and outside.

My partner and I came for brunch before the farmer's market. It was definitely busy, but they got us in super quickly. The place is incredibly clean and tables are well distanced! Our server was super kind and patient as we looked over the menu. I ordered the WOKE benedict which comes with chorizo instead of the regular Canadian bacon. WOW was this delicious! The Hollandaise was super creamy and well made. My partner ordered an omelet and devoured that in seconds. We decided to split the peaches and cream pancakes. They were honestly my highlight. The pancakes are super fluffy. Overall, I really enjoyed visiting WOKE! I cannot wait to come back

Food was good, a bit overpriced. Especially juice I think it was like 3.50 for a glass of orange juice.

I prefer it to be made from Single Origin beans, from places like Africa that have bright flavor profiles. And I prefer a medium light roast that highlights the quality of the bean. Most places make their iced coffee from blends and medium dark or dark roast levels. Grounded Coffee Co is the rare CT coffee shop that made my iced coffee with an Ethiopian Single Origin roasted by Ilse. Ilse, a North Canaan, CT, was not on my radar. They are now. This was one of the best iced coffees I've had from a shop all year. And it matched my preferences. Grounded is small, but the shop was cute, had some inside seating, and seemed to have an outside seating area, although I did not go out back to see it. Service was friendly and helpful. Very impressed with this visit experience. Five Stars.

They are located in what appears to be a little house. There's parking in the front for around four vehicles, on my way out I realized they have a substantial parking lot in the rear. The inside is super cute with hardwood floors, wooden furniture and comfy seating. It's not super spacious, but comfortable for a date or a solo adventure. At Radial they roast their own coffee beans. They had some pastries, but not many, probably because it was after 2:00 o'clock. For my coffee I got the Honey Maple Latte. The barista said I could take a seat, she would bring it to me. Well, it's a good thing she brought it over, because I would have spilled it. The presentation was lovely. It came in a navy ceramic cup with a saucer, with a design on top. This was one of the smoothest and creamiest coffees I've had in a while. From the texture of the latte its self, to the flavor, it is very smooth, in a way lux. The flavor was there but in a very organic way, nothing is too sugary. This was a very pleasant experience at Radial.

"I love the flower girl Oh, I don't know just why…read moreShe simply caught my eye I love the flower girl she seemed so sweet and kind. She crept into my mind." (The Cowsills) Visiting the Flour Girl Café and Bakery will put you squarely in the middle of a Flour Girl Village with four distinct components. Within the village is the Flour Girl Café at 16 Main, the Flour Girl Bakery at 14 Main, the Flour Girl Country Store at 12 Main, and the Door Yard in a rear courtyard for dining and hosting events between the bakery and country store. Today we had breakfast at the Café and followed it up with a visit to the bakery. A common thread at both stops was the wonderful personality and friendliness of the staff we interacted with. The counterperson at the Café could not have been nicer and her personality radiated throughout the room like a beam of sunshine. She welcomed every new customer as though they were long lost relatives, exchanged some pleasant small talk and then diligently repeated the orders before ringing them up. She was fantastic. The café keeps things humming all week long--open Monday through Friday from 6:30 to 4:00, Saturdays from 7:30 to 4:00, and Sundays from 7:30 to 3:00. Flour Girl Café covers you from breakfast through lunch. Mornings bring all the good stuff: coffees and lattes, smoothies, egg sandwiches, bagels, wraps, waffles, toasts--you get the idea. Swing by at lunchtime and you'll find sandwiches, paninis, salads, burgers and soups waiting for you. Oh, and as a bonus perk, the bread for sandwiches and burgers is made at the bakery next door, so freshness is something the Flour Girl takes seriously. For breakfast, we had a Bacon, Egg, Lettuce, Tomato, and Cheese Bagel ($7.99) and an Avocado Toast (2 pieces) with Feta and tomato ($9.99), Two 16-ounce drip coffees were $3.50 apiece. The portions were large, and my avocado toast on sourdough was fantastic. We sat in the first-floor dining room and took in the pretty interior design of pinks, pastels, and floral color theme. Now, on to the bakery! The Flour Girl Bakery may be best known for its sourdough breads, but the fun doesn't stop there. You'll also find muffins, cookies, scones, their award winning cinnamon rolls, and a rotating lineup of fresh baked breads. And those cinnamon rolls? They spark a full on weekend rush--people happily line up just to snag one before they disappear. We picked up a box of mixed goods, muffins, cake squares, and a big hunk of jalapeno cornbread that will go perfectly with a homemade batch of lentil chili sitting in my fridge. We saw an adorable feature at the bakery, where plastic eggs were hidden within the store for the kiddies to find and cash in for a cookie. It's the little customer service features we saw at the Flour Girl's Café, Bakery, and Country Store that made today's visit so pleasant.

I think there may be a small sign but i heard it several times during my visit - people asking for breakfast! Might be something to reconsider or place a visible sign underlining breakfast stops at 11:30 AM. Anyhow, pivoted to the lunch menu - pesto chicken sandwich was delicious. Did not love the pasta salad, wish there was the option for fry's. Really wanted the thanksgiving wrap but was out of stuck - next time hopefully! I will say - while there are many options for seating, especially with the new accommodation, it's tight. Chairs back into aisles and the table legs don't allow chairs to be pushed in that well. Entrance area can feel a bit overwhelming if it's busy. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable, will continue to come back.
