We split a peanut butter sandwich cookie, which was absolutely incredible. We went inside. They have large boards with some inspirational words left by guests. They have some games and a few tables for seating. I decided to go with the Just Peachy bowl, this has peach, papaya, dates, banana, strawberry and coconut. My friend got the Tropical Paradise, hers came with açaí, almond milk, banana and blueberry. We waited for around 20 minutes for our bowls to be ready. Mine was a nice yellow color, topped with strawberries, banana and coconut. It looked absolutely delicious. I had my first bite, this tasted like nothing... I went for another spoonful, I couldn't taste the peach at all, or the papaya. All I could taste was a bit of the banana. I took my bowl to the register. There were three high school aged girls. I told them "hi I'm sorry, this isn't good at all. I can't taste the peach." Girl A, asks the other two, "who made it?" One of them raises her hand. "I did" I'm not sure why it matters who made it, the point is it isn't good. All three of them are staring at me. Girl B, says " I'm not sure why you can't taste the peach, we followed the recipe." They didn't do anything for me in regards to the bad tasting bowl. It got pretty awkward when they all stared at me with their arms folded. I sat back down, I was pretty angry. My friend shared her bowl with me, hers was really tasty, rich in blueberry and açaí, just as it should be. I will not be returning to this Liquid Nirvana again. I had about three spoons of my Just Peachy bowl, and my friend had one, just to confirm that it had no taste. The rest was sadly in the trash. UPDATE Since I wrote my review, the owner Rosy, has reached out and offered her sincerest apologies for the way that the situation was handled on my most recent visit to Liquid Nirvana. She said that she could see that some more training of the young people working there was necessary. She refunded my friend's credit card, who purchased our bowls, without me or my friend even asking her to do so. Her efforts to execute me a satisfied customer, were genuine and so much appreciated! I will for sure be revisiting the Glastonbury location and the brand new Farmington location. For the above reasons I am updating my review to 5 stars!

They have a little swing against a wall- with a neon sign that says the name of the establishment. It appeared functional- but I didn't want to break it- if it wasn't so I didn't try it. Lol. Because we were already on an adventure, might as well try one more place as well. Inside has all the decor of an influencer styled place. Fake grass on the wall, lots of bright popping colors and plenty of places to snag the selfie. The menu is laden with sweets of every shape and size. Everything with loud pictures and kinda pricy price tags for just sweets. Their milkshakes were mostly 20 dollars and were towers of candy, donuts, and decadence. We did a small smattering of their truffles and a couple of their other sweets. A Dubai chocolate square and a chocolate ganache layered brownie. The place is very concerned about outward appearances, but what about the flavor? That I can report is actually pretty good. The truffle is a brigadeiro truffle. It's a soft and kinda chewy truffle, like a nougat and mochi hybrid. They were very pretty and flavorful, but not what one would call a truffle in the traditional sense. The Dubai chocolate square was dusted in gold dust and has the expected pistachio crème and phyllo inside. The chocolate was creamy and wonderful in flavor and consistency. The issue was the size, the chocolate shell kinda shattered on the bite and led to a bit of a mess in the car. The brownie was good. The chocolate ganache was delicious and the brownie was a little overdone. But the ganache really helped salvage the dish. It's pricy, is very much a place you go to for pictures of you and your entourage living their best life. But the quality is there and below the glitz and glamour there's a solid sweets shop here. For some, the facade may be a detractor, but they got good sweets so they are worth a try.

Since there's a couple good breakfast spots in the area, I decided I would go to this location and give them a try. Place was decked out with decor and inspirations sayings. I take a quick look at the displays, and I see the herbalife products. To the unintiated, herbalife shops are pretty much these MLM shops. Kinda like lularoe. they use social media to attempt to appear trendy while trying to encourage repeat business while harvesting as much info as they can from you. I don't really care too much about that, I care about the end product and how things taste. After being to a few of these shops, I can say that I'm not really a fan of their proteins. I feel that they use a little too much thickener and are a little gritty. the flavors are muted and they always try to justify the price of the shake by giving you a detox + energy tea to go with it. Their shakes pretty much taste like what I would expect a protein shake to taste like, if I didn't know how to make one myself. The biggest difference between these shops is how they are operated. This place is operated pretty well. The owner was very kind and inquisitive, though they could be a little pushy. This specific location actually has lots of extra items like protein balls and cookies. They also got very decorative with their shakes, layering shake and mix-ins and topping with pictures of shakes to help you make your decisions. I got a shake, a tea for the girlfriend, some protein balls, and because it was customer appreciation day I got a balloon, a valentine protein ball, and a gift certificate. I did enjoy the protein balls, they had a strong peanut butter flavor and a good texture. The protein shake was okay, was this apple pie shake with layers of granola, apple, caramel, and a little apple pie piece on top. The tea had a little bit too much of their fruit punch flavoring, but it was drunk. The difference between this herbalife shop and others is the staff and the hustle, and this place is trying very hard to be just that little bit better than it's competition. I respect this place for trying as hard as they do, but it is not the greatest of shakes. If you want a herbalife protein shake, give this place a try.

Get a shake which comes with a tea. They have all kinds of different flavors too choose and the teas are refreshing. Takes a little bit of time to make it all, but not too long. I'm personally not a big fan of Herbalife and their company. The shakes all had a hint of peanut butter that more masked the intended taste. The tea is good but I think our's might have been mislabeled. Overall, it is good if you're close by and have $30 to spend on two shakes and a tea. The best part is the owner who has a great story on how she went through a weight loss journey and is fun to speak to. I might be back but not sure on that since you can get similar shakes at many other places or at your gym. The highlight was the owner, she was worth the trip not the shakes.
