Pastrami on marble rye with potato salad and pickles

Traveling back from West Springfield I opened the Yelp app looking for a Deli and came across this place. Curbside only due to Covid restrictions, so calling in is the only way to order. Lady was very friendly and helpful over the phone as I had never been here before and didn't know the menu. After a 10-15 min wait... I wasn't really timing she came out with my sandwich. It came to 10.20!!! She let me slide for the .20 cents. Got back to work and dived in. Unfortunately I expected more for $10 but wasn't horrible. Sandwich was on the smaller side, potato salad lacked a bit of flavor and it was a mixture of half sour and dill pickle chips. Not sure I would visit again, but she seemed to have a good following, probably locals that help support her small business!

Authentic Reuben. Finest ingredients makes the difference. Exceptional marble rye. Great kosher corned beef. Good sauerkraut and cheese. The best homemade coleslaw side I ever had. Super friendly staff and fast kitchen. The ambiance is very conducive to a sit down lunch rather than to go. Looking forward to working through the menu. Ample parking.

As you can see from my many pictures. Love this place. Founded one day on Groupon. The food is fresh & homemade everyday. The place is so cute. The owner & servers are all so nice. When we happen to be in East Windsor this is our favorite sandwich place for lunch.

Have been wanting to come and try one of their reubens for some time now and today's the day. The sandwich was a disappointment as the corned beef was so tough I had to hold it tight with both hands to keep it from pulling out of the bread every bite. The coleslaw was bland and what seemed to be homemade pickles weren't very good either. My forearms both would stick to the table if I didn't keep napkins under them. The girls running it were very nice and the food came out quickly even though it was lunch time.

Grilled ham & cheese with tomatoes. $7.50

I ate here once and liked it. Small town charm and the lunch was pretty good. The employees were friendly and welcoming.

The old fashioned Reuben is delicious. There is just the right amount of meat on the sandwich and it comes out nice and hot.

My harvest grilled cheese was abdolutely delicious, but more than 8 chips and 1 tiny pickle chip would make for a 5 star rating!

Numerous lunch specials (although Belvedere is not really that much of an "eat there" type of place). Recently bought 8 dozen pierogies (as well as other food) for my Polush BIL, Jozef, who lives in Manhattan. He really enjoys, as do I. I also recently had my first Cubano sandwich for lunch. Why did I wait so long? Thin slices of ham, pulled pork, Swiss, sliced pickles and mustard on an oversized hard roll. Absolutely perfect. Highly recommend. 4.5 overstuffed and oversized stars

Greeted warmly, I placed my order for a Polish plate, consisting of Golobki (stuffed cabbage) a generous serving of kielbasa with sauerkraut, and three pierogi. Rye bread was served on the side. I also got a green tea to wash it all down with. All this was around $15 plus the tip. Let me tell you, the reason why I said it was like going to my mother's house was this place is culture at its finest for the Polish heritage I absolutely loved the Kielbasa and sauerkraut, and the pierogi were out of this world and you could tell they were homemade with love. The Golobki was good. If I said it was better than my mother's, there would be hell to pay! Serving containers of spicy mustard for the kielbasa, sour cream for the pierogi, and a beautiful horseradish sauce was for whatever your pleasure. This had a kick and it was amazing. The restaurant is super clean, and decorated with lots of thought. I loved the menu. I thought the many choices were to be ordered on the future times I frequent this place Now I see all the rave this place has, and this could be a regular stop. Thanks again Belvedere of East Windsor for your gracious service and delicious food. You are well deserving of the five stars. Until next time!

On April 11, I rushed my family off the plane in order to get to these guys to grab a quick-but-tasty dinner before embarking on the remaining two hours of our long day of travel back to Westport. We arrived at 7:30 PM, 30 minutes before closing. Unfortunately, rather than having great pizza, great fried chicken, and an amazing grinder, we were instead served what felt more like the food that comes off of a gas station countertop diner than it did a restaurant that has WOW'd me in the past with they're fantastic food and friendly service. The greeting we received when we walked in; even though it was 30 minutes before closing, was less than enthusiastic to see us... it was clear right off the bat that everybody behind the counter was far more concerned about having their key in the front door at 7:59 then they were delivering great food and service. The grinder was OK. The fried chicken was pliable, but a couple of the pieces we ordered were dried out and shriveled up from sitting too long. The slices of pizza that we ordered, the guy didn't even bother, warming them up. Just pulled them out of the pizza slice case and threw them into a box... either that or if he did attempt to warm them up, they must've already turned the ovens off, and they threw it into a cold oven. A word of advice for the management of this restaurant, if you want to be out the door by 8 PM, close your restaurant at 7 PM so nobody comes in and bothers you all while you're trying to clean. To be fair, if you're thinking about this restaurant as a great stop for lunch, I would still recommend it as the food is ordinarily pretty good (and fresh at that time ) I've eaten here several times and I've never been disappointed.
