Place was fine, clean and organized as it should be. But the i guess so manager has an attitude and the proud "gomez family" who owns it might reconsider if this manager seen in my picture is just rude and does not have a customer service, he is at the wrong job and needs to reconsider to apply for another job which entails rudeness. No play area, has a drive thru, has a high chair and ample parking space

The owner of this McDonald's has done a wonderful job landscaping this property, the plants provide a very nice and inviting exterior and somewhat enhances the drive-thru experience. It's obvious the focus on maintaining the grounds has paid dividends, as I sat in my rental waiting to order a quick bite after exiting the airport I was hopeful the food and service would match the atmosphere created outside the restaurant. I have to assume the long wait time is due to the made to order approach, I guess the original fast food concept has evolved into an entirely different experience, the recently increased price points has more of a sit down feel to it and being I'm sitting in my car it seems their plan is working out. I finally make it to the service speaker, the device is high tech, the high definition screen is easy to read and very descriptive. The audio system seems to work effectively although the server on the other end seems to struggle with its operation and is barely audible making it appear that I'm stumbling through my order even though I ordered by number for the most part although I did say coca-cola when asked and I also responded "medium" a few times. As I pulled forward slightly blocking the next customer who was closely tailing my rental from the automated ordering system due to the back up at the pickup window I was afforded more time to admire the landscaping I think this may be by design since its clear the owner had made a significant investment in the esthetics of the property. As I spent the next fifteen minutes creeping forward my anticipation of this award winning food grew exponentially regardless of my time constraints. Finally my time arrived, I arrived at the empty pick-up window, since I'm a reasonable person I would be more than happy to continue to wait while my order was prepared - my serve arrived and greeted me and asked me to confirm my order she acted a little surprised as I repeated it but I sure her was concerned about getting it right so I confirmed it was a 4A (spicy chicken sandwich), fries and a medium coca-cola. As I pulled away and quickly opened the sack I found my on the run lunch complete - unfortunately my fries were inserted into bag upside down distributing my fried potatoes throughout the interior of the brown paper sack. I opened the foil container to access my 4A and found the condiments equally spread across the inside of my container - this McSloppy mess was was very disappointing but hot, the pre-smashed bun was damp meaning it sat awhile and was not made to order. I think the investment here is incorrectly distributed - I don't need bright flowers and green plants in beds of mulch to convince me to visit this restaurant for me it's more about the food and the service but that's just me...

Place is filthy!! I çan only imagine what the kitchen is hiding!! Absolutely horrible!!

This place really sucks. Kiosk does not have coffee you can order, service sucks, manager did not want to take my order, no hello thank you, nothing. Do NOT frequent this place. Just filthy!! Should be zero stars!!

When your waiting at the drive thru window and the other side has passed 4 cars and you speak up and the other side still goes thru another 2 cars. It's such an unorganized location! If you want quick service, go they the drive thru window that is CLOSEST to the building! Otherwise, be prepared to be ignored!

I guess I got yesterday's Quarter Pounder with Cheese. If you like to eat dried out hockey pucks this the McDonald's for you.

I sat at the counter and was greeted immediately. Their menu is loaded with all the typical, popular breakfast eats. I opted for their corned beef hash with scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes. Starting with coffee. The coffee was typical, very good. My eggs I ordered scrambled with cheese and they were made perfectly! I'm a stickler for not having eggs overcooked, I don't want to see, nor taste any brown on them and these came out just right. Their breakfast potatoes are some of the BEST I've had at a place like this. There wasn't as many onion as I would have preferred, but the flavor and texture was perfect! So Very Good!! And finally, the corned beef hash - They use the typical canned style, which I knew and I asked for it to be well-done with jalapeño. The chef did a perfect job with this part of my breakfast!! Wow - So Good!!! Overall - definitely a very nice breakfast here... I'd most definitely return!!

The decor is all 50's from the chairs, walls, food, etc. Here's their story: "September 11th 2001 changed my life forever. After 19 years as a flight attendant, I decided it was time for a change. Thanks to my dearest mentor and friend, my dreams have come true. Actually, this all dates back to the year of 1952. My friend had a wish, too! Naif Makol, Jr. loved to eat his burgers when he was only knee high to a grasshopper, at which time, he asked his daddy if he would buy him a hamburger store. "Bah" astonishingly honored his son's request, and the family was in Burger Business. We dedicate the vision behind our concept to an exceptional man, Naif George Makol, Sr., without whose foresight and extraordinary business sense this could have not been possible. Our country was a great place to live in back in the 1950's American families enjoyed simple pleasures like drive-in movies, cruise nights, and car hops. Much has changed today except the memories of a time gone by. Naif Jr. has never let those joyous memories fade so in saying that here we are today. Naif and I wanted to create a place representative of a time when families gathered together listening to Dion or little Richard on the radio or cruising into their favorite soda shop for burgers or dogs. Skooter's took on a life of its own once we collaborated about the open kitchen concept and sit-down counter service. We've created a warm, family atmosphere which we hope you will enjoy. Our goal as proprietors is to provide you quick in-and-out service in an upbeat, happy environment at an affordable price. We want to be your home away from home. With Jonathan Karas as a key part of our family and the central force of our operations, I'm sure you will enjoy what he has to bring to the table (pun intended). We hope you delight in the simplicity and of course the great tasting yummy food." For my drink, I'm having a black coffee. It's my first caffeinated drink in a long time (no decaf available). I'd have a milkshake, but they're extremely heavy. Ah! REAL coffee! For my soup, it's Sausage, Pepper and Onion. Rice too I see. It's very good! An unusual soup, I'm also trying the chili. This is good! I got the last of it! Peppers is an odd ingredient. I can't leave here without trying a hot dog (Frankfurter) with sauerkraut. This is good! I liked the buttered bun. No shortage of sauerkraut. For my entree, I'm having a Grilled Lemon Chicken sandwich. This is really good! Notice the square lettuce leaves. For dessert, I'm having a slice of blueberry pie. This is a HUGE piece of pie! It's nice and chilled. I haven't had this in decades! It's delicious! What a great meal here! Those onion rings are freshly battered and are huge! One of them was 4 inches across! Oh yeah! This is great!

I'm not sure if it was a shift change or just timing, but even though the restaurant wasn't very busy, it felt like we were left a bit on the side for a while. Nothing major, just something noticeable. Also, while the food is creative and well made, some items felt a bit pricey for the portion size (for example, a meatball serving), so value may depend on what you order. That said, it definitely wouldn't stop me from coming back. Good food, good beer selection, and overall a solid spot.

I would bring everyone there. When they opened the new location in Windsor , it was still great. It was a birthday outing type of thing. I went again last week, which was likely my final time. For the past few years, I've been giving it a pass... growing pains, maybe? But the food is not what it was. The succulent, juicy brisket that I used to dream of has been dry and cold for the last year or so (probably 3 or 4 visits). The burnt ends, which used to be as addictive, are now no longer made from brisket...but what seems to be cubed chuck...again, dry. Texas sausage and pulled pork are still ok, as are the sides. On top of that, they are always short staffed, and the staff that they do have is not helpful...not friendly.. Just a big NOT anymore. I haven't been to the Hartford or New Haven locations recently, but as far as Windsor is concerned, it will not be going back anytime soon. I don't mind paying the premium prices for quality food and service, but you are no longer premium. Please figure this out. My favorite place no longer exists.. and I really want it to return to the quality of the past.

Perhaps their other food is better than what I ordered, which was a combination grinder, but I have to say compared to others that I've had in the area, this seemed more like a 7-Eleven convenience store hoagie with its limited amounts of meat and cheese. The other thing that I'll mention )just because it seems to be a theme at every restaurant that I've been to around 8 PM in this town), everybody seems to be far more concerned about walking out the door two minutes before they're supposed to close is the impression they leave on guests now walk in 20 or 30 minutes before closing time. This will be the third time I've been to some quick family dining establishment in the area that I've had this experience-- I'm gonna offer management the same advice that I've offered to other establishments nearby: If there is a time of day that you want to leave work, you should close your business in whatever time it takes for you to clean in order to make that happen as opposed to risking guest walking in and being made to feel as if their inconveniencing everybody who works there for making the decision to go to your establishment to spend our money.

Mon to Sat they open at 5am. I was only 10 minutes away from 6 but I figured they look like a place I'd want to eat at anyway and fate brought me to this awesome establishment. Upon entering it's not too bright and not too dark especially for this hour. The place looks immaculately clean. It's your typical diner feel just a little more modernish with the color scheme inside. Two breakfast bars and the rest booths and tables. Round stools at the bar for seating. The waitress greeted me and I just sat at the breakfast bar. I got a a coffee to start, nice med - dark roast. Not burnt and tasted freshly made, good quality Java to wake you up. Better than Dunkin could offer lol. For my breakfast I decided on the Crazy Good Hash and a side of sausage (they offer links or patties, I love my patties so that's what I chose). First bite was just amazing. I wasn't sure what to expect .. I low key was just thinking it would be the stuff from a can like other diners use but no.. you will not get that here. It was legit fresh corned beef... griddled with hashed potatoes .. it was light and flavorful, crispy crust and soft interior. Not drowning in sodium like the can stuff. The corned beef really just melted in your mouth, so juicy and tender just like a properly cooked corned beef should taste. It was just amazing and I was completely blown away. Paired together with high quality eggs and perfectly toasted with butter toast, there was not one bite left. I couldn't stop eating it. I was almost sad with my last bite .. but I was about to explode anyway since it was a very generous portion. I'm just a glutton when it comes to good savory foods. The sausage patties were great too .. nice crispy and juicy, good flavor profile, not herby like some .. I don't like those but these were great. Please come give this place a try and go for the Crazy Good Hash and Eggs. You won't regret it.
