The still tastes good, with some exceptions. The frier oil seemed burnt, so the pickle chips we had just had that little bit of carbon taste on them. The pickle chips batter was very thick, and the mayo was the only respite. The sandwich, still tasty, seemed much smaller than normal, the meat still had good flavor, but the portion was lighter in comparison. The prices are also a bit high. The sandwich coming out to about 15 bucks. The bargain is very much gone now, and the portion is okay for a sandwich but pricy because of this shrinkage. Not shown are the overcooked onion rings. We returned those and the server promptly removed them from the bill. So really good customer service. I opted for a brownie for dessert, and the brownie was a disappointment. Too sugary, no flavor, gummy, and disappointingly small and thin. A detractor for sure. As a deli, it feels like it's on the decline. Inside, the tables were clean, and the restaurant looked well maintained. The line was quite long, but it moved quickly, and we had our order within 10 minutes. Right before we got served, a worker announced they were out of lettuce, guacamole and hot sauce. That didn't matter to use because my son doesn't get those, but the person behind us complained and asked why are they always running out of lettuce. He said they need to order more. Once we placed our order, it was made quickly and correctly and was hot and fresh. Some reviews for this location say service is slow, but even with the long line, the wait wasn't long. I know one thing that can make some restaurants seem slow is the large amount of app orders that get placed. Not only are they making food for everyone in the restaurant, they're also making orders for dozens of "invisible" people, who have placed their order with the app. I would have rated our experience 4 or 5, but because it seems they have an issue with food control, I'm giving it a 3. The straws were nicely fried but not crispy by the time they reached the table but added a good dimension to the burger. It was good to leave the tomato and lettuce off as the height of the burger made it tough to bite into. The fries were disappointing. They had the right color for being fried and crispy but they were limp and soft. They are clearly are fresh cut from large potatoes but really need to be fried longer to get that crispy crunch you'd expect. Told the server that and was told to ask for the fries extra crispy. Overall not a bad first trip. We'll go back and try some other things on the menu and see what extra crispy fries are like.

I tried them again recently, and the quality looks like it's slipping. The waffle was not fresh, felt like a prepackaged waffle warmed up. The chicken wasn't breaded to be crispy, and the corn fritters were actually pretty tasty. The chicken was cooked well, and the portions were very large, but the quality was lacking. It's not bad chicken and waffles, but it is not as great as I once remembered. I am hoping my recent experience was a flub, but it's good enough for that area if you need your chicken and waffles fix.
