Ordered a bIg kahuna today !! Loved it !! Service was excellent as usual. The ambiance ? It's a fast food restaurant. But it's organized

Vence did a great job with my food I don't do pork and he made sure the entire sandwich cutter was clean of any type of meat he changed his gloves and everything he wiped down everything. The guy making my actual sandwich switched out his gloves as well because he had just made a ham sandwich. I was very appreciative of them not getting an attitude or being rude they were amazing. The sandwich was good as always. I didn't really take a picture of my food cause I was hungry. This review was just to give them some praise.

I come here frequently and I will admit, it can get very busy during lunch hours. There have been times I've waited 45 minutes for mobile orders, so I learned to wait awhile before pickup during the weekday. Let me tell you, some customers are brutal during the long wait times. Extremely rude. Yet, the staff handles it soooo well. I'd be throwing hands! That being said, the employees are always so kind. I asked for a simple bowl with extra lettuce since my stomach has been recovering from some things... look at the cute message an employee wrote! That truly made my night. This location never fails to perfect your order, WITH A SMILE. Great staff, clean store, quality food!

With the chain restaurant four star rule these guys almost hit a 4 1/2 stars. There are times when there's a line and a wait and sometimes they're too busy to clean the small dining area but the food is consistent and just as good as you'd expect from a Jersey Mike's. While I normally go for the Chipotle Cheesesteak (#43) or one of the Chicken Cheesesteak sandwiches they do an awesome job with just fresh-sliced deli meats and the fresh bread with just a few condiments. The #8 Club Sub on their Rosemary Parm bread is pretty outstanding just the way it comes. You can add more or less of anything you like or even get it "Mike's Way" and you won't be disappointed. I've gotten grilled subs from this location as well and the quality is just as good as any other JM's I've been to. Four stars!

My third visit to the new location in Madison CT. Excellent! Friendly employees, clean and efficient. Philly Cheesesteak fantastic. Last visit I had the Roast Beef. Meet was so fresh and tender. Love it!

Turkey just how I like it... now THATS a sandwich!!!

Ok shout out to this Jersey Mike's location. You wont find pandemic portions or inflation insufficiency on these subs. This location is the best!!! The sandwich was PERFECT!!! This was the literal opposite of a new JM location that I just reviewed recently where there was like no meat or toppings on our subs.

Today, I was a Jersey Mike's lunch time first timer and it was an excellent experience! The first thing I noticed was how cordial the staff was while we waited. The second thing was how efficient this Gold 5 Star sub-assembly line was, from slicing fresh meats, cheeses, fresh toppings, sandwich wrapping and register, JM's is a well oiled machine. I have nothing but high praise for their precision, efficiency and dedication to serving and excellent sub and superior customer service. I ordered an Original Italian mini sub with lettuce, tomato, onion, hot pepper relish, oil and vinegar dressing. The bread is excellent and stands up well to an Italian sub and the v&o dressing. The combination of meats and cheeses makes for the perfect combination and a very delicious superior sandwich. JM'S is the real deal; the management and trainers should be acknowledged because that level of professionalism, hospitality and efficiency just doesn't happen by accident

"I walked in, the baker said everything was sold I found out…read moreshe saved me some sweet jelly roll Yes, the baker shop boogie" (Willie Nix) Since we're friends, let me ask you a personal question--so tell me this: what's your official dessert policy? Are you a "dessert is a human right" kind of person who enjoys something sweet every night after dinner? Do you ceremoniously pair your evening coffee with a treat like it's a sacred ritual? Or are you more of a free range snacker who grazes on cookies and pastries whenever the mood strikes? At our place, we've somehow drifted into the habit of having a bakery item most nights. Could be a cookie. Could be a pastry. Could be a slice of something. All this brings me to yesterday's visit to the Hartford Baking Company in South Windsor, where we are now pretty well stocked for a week's worth of upcoming desserts, and maybe a breakfast or two. They have four locations in the Greater Hartford area, all selling the same amazing product line of bread, ciabatta, and rolls. But for the sweet tooth fiends out there, well get psyched for their scones, muffins, Walnut Coffee Cake, Financiers (a French almond cookie), brownies and bars, cookies, biscotti, shortbreads, Danish, Cinnamon buns, Pecan-Walnut Sticky Buns, Brioche Pastries, fruit tarts, and quiches. We were running errands in South Windsor yesterday, popped into Hartford Baking, and walked out with a bounty of wonderful looking goodies- brownies, a croissant, a chocolate banana muffin, a rectangular Financier, and a slice of coffee cake. We should be set for a while in the dessert department. I had the Financier last night, and never having heard of the word before, I consulted the old Google machine for some research and found a very cool origin-story. In the late 1800's there was a pastry shop located near the Paris Stock Exchange. The shop sold very popular small almond cakes that were baked in small rectangular molds resembling gold bars. They were a hit with the busy bankers who frequented his shop. The name "financier" stuck because of both the clientele and the gold bar shape. I have to tell ya, that Financier was amazing. It was dense and delicious and overflowing with almond flavor. I loved it. I also had a teense of the Banana Muffin this morning, and it was excellent as well. Loved that banana flavor and those chocolate chips. OK, so file away "Hartford Bakery" on your short list of "must visit" dessert destinations, because I assure you that you'll walk out a satisfied customer.

Quick service, good quality food and coffee…read more Was trying to go to a new place that just opened up. They were not open, so came here for my breakfast. Inside is nice and spacious. Staff was nice but were in the midst of conversation when I approached the register. They quickly took my order then went directly back into conversation. Felt like fast food service, more a number than a guest. Food came out quick. Had to stage my pics a bit but easy enough. The double chocolate latte was chocolaty and creamy. Coffee was strong enough to punch through the sweet and was well balanced as a drink. The sandwich was plentiful on the pulled pork and the egg was cooked well. Bun was soft and buttery but not pillowy. Which is good because you want a breakfast sandwich to be structural enough to hold its shape after each bite. Price was about 20 for the sandwich and latte, which isn't too bad for the quality you get. Much better than your fast food chains, even if you get the same service. A great quick stop location, worth a try but not a trek.

Quality is still good, price and portion are askew…read more We came here as a quick sandwich bite on our way around the state. Service was good, and the ambiance is still lively. The still tastes good, with some exceptions. The frier oil seemed burnt, so the pickle chips we had just had that little bit of carbon taste on them. The pickle chips batter was very thick, and the mayo was the only respite. The sandwich, still tasty, seemed much smaller than normal, the meat still had good flavor, but the portion was lighter in comparison. The prices are also a bit high. The sandwich coming out to about 15 bucks. The bargain is very much gone now, and the portion is okay for a sandwich but pricy because of this shrinkage. Not shown are the overcooked onion rings. We returned those and the server promptly removed them from the bill. So really good customer service. I opted for a brownie for dessert, and the brownie was a disappointment. Too sugary, no flavor, gummy, and disappointingly small and thin. A detractor for sure. As a deli, it feels like it's on the decline. I know things are pricier now, but what you pay vs what you get doesn't match up. I'm hoping they pivot from this path, but right now it's no longer my go-to. It's still tasty, just pricy

It's a painting, an arts and craft, a bakery, and a coffee shop. Great place for friends to get together and spend quality time, with great refreshment. They make their own bread, Cheddar scallion scones, chocolate chip cookies, sandwiches, and many other items. My favorites are the different coffees and teas. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, both with the food service and the arts. What a gem to have on Main Street.

Surprisingly good food in a pottery painting place…read more Been meaning to review this place for a while. Each time I'd go in, see no one around, then left. This last attempt, there was a bunch of staff around so I got the full experience. The staff were very friendly and informative. They explained the pottery painting side of things to anyone painting a piece. They had a wealth of knowledge in that regard, explaining how to get the best results for each medium. I wasn't here for the pottery, I was here for the food. So they sat at a 4 top and let me go up to the cafe to order. The menu is basic, egg sandwiches, avocado toast, French toast, coffees and lattes. Some fresh baked pastries available but mostly simple dishes. I opted for their French toast latte and an egg sandwiches with bacon. Also got a cinnamon roll that was baked that morning. Food came out after a few minutes. Not speedy but not slow. Took some pics and dug in. There's a fundamental rule that I follow when reviewing. "The flavors on the description need to match the flavors of the dish." There's sandwich did this exemplary. The garlic aoli had a strong but slightly acidic bite to it, which helped the arugula's bitterness. The egg was fluffy, the tomato grilled and salted, and the bacon perfectly crispy. The soft home made bread was almost too soft, compressing down to nothing after each bite. If anything, the bread could've been grilled to give it a bit more structure. But besides that gripe, it's one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. The latte, that's what took the star off. The coffee is giv beans, so a good quality product. The problem was it was extremely, overbearingly bitter. With a French toast latte, you'd expect the sweet to counteract the bitter. But nope, the sweet came from the cold foam and the concentrated coffee at the base led to straight sips of cringingly bitter coffee. After mixing the cold foam into the coffee, it became more bearable. But the damage was done by that point, and my pallet was shot. Had to dump most of the coffee. Overall, it's a neat place to go to. It's rare to have activities along with good food, and the staff there make the experience great. Not too much a fan of the specialty coffee, but the food is well worth the price. A solid food choice for Main Street.
