Even though they do not make all of their bakery items from scratch, there is care in the quality of goods provided. They also try to be on trend with what some of the bigger chains offer as far as refreshers, energy drinks, cold foam, etc. so don't feel like you need to shy away because you won't have a creative selection of drinks. I recommend going on a Sunday between 11 and 2, when there is live music from fabulous local artists. I would also suggest looking on their Facebook page to see what the sandwich specials are. It's a nice touch for regular customers. Overall, it was a great experience. The atmosphere was lively, the coffee was good, and it's easy to see why so many locals love this place. today I drove a little bit past the CT/MA border to try Bestea because I was already in the area…read more there's a lot of parking since the place shares the lot with the entire plaza. outside, there's a lot of benches and they actually had a lot of larger sized games like connect 4!! it would be a nice place to hang with friends. after looking over their big menu, I decided on the kumquat green thai tea, which comes with aiyu jelly, with 75% sugar. it was out in maybe 5 minutes. the sweetness was just right and the flavor of the tea was pretty good. I wish the aiyu jelly was a bit thicker though! I would still come back here to maybe try a milk tea.
