It can't get any fresher when the cows are right there in sight when you walk in the door. Pasteurized, delicious and fresh.

I love to support local farms and products and these are cows that I drive by everyday. It's a cute little store not much bigger than the smallest of your guest rooms. There are about 3 fridges, 2 with different size milk bottles, and one with meat. Cookies on the counter were for sale and that's about it. This is where you go to buy milk. I picked up regular milk and chocolate milk. Both are delicious. Impeccably fresh. You do pay a deposit on the bottles to encourage their return. They offer a delivery service to the surrounding nearby towns. But I honestly enjoyed stopping by and seeing all the cows in person.

Large bottle of their chocolate milk, and 2 bottles of their coffee milk, so yummy!

I have been a huge fan of Trinity Farm for years now, I always do business with them at my local farmers market. Trinity Farm has the best chocolate milk and coffee milk I have ever tasted. Their seasonal egg nog is also exceptional. I've tried their yogurt as well and enjoy getting it from time to time. But my forever staple will be their chocolate & coffee milk. In addition to having a great product, their service is always notable, I thoroughly enjoy doing business with Trinity Farm at the Forest Park farmers market because both the husband and wife are the sweetest people. I love seeing them because they actually remember who you are and care enough to ask how you're doing. I will continue to do business with them for as long as they continue to go to the farmers market. Highly recommend!

This is one of our favorite places to visit for some quick entertainment for the kids and some great milk and yogurt. The little store sells regular milk, flavored milk, kefir, and yogurt. I believe they also sell creamer or half and half. They also carry local eggs and beef from other farms. But what makes Smyth Trinity Farm so awesome is that they have their cows right next to the store. They will come right up to the gate to visit with you. My toddler loves watching them and petting them (when he feels brave enough). The staff is so friendly and is always there to answer questions. They do have a minimum for purchases made with a card, like $7/8 which is not bad at all for a small business. The chocolate milk and yogurt (all flavors) are our favorite!!

    The cows!

Enfield Farmer's Market operated for several years on Wednesdays and its late afternoon and evening…read morehours may have worked for some, but it was dwindling. Now. it's back on Sundays from 10am-1pm, and the town seems to have provided tables, tents and a lot more space, no longer at the Pond, but now on the Town Green, at N Main and Rte. 5. The vendors are invited to sell their goods with no spot cost, and admission for shoppers is free, family friendly and a fun activity. But, the best part is getting to know the local vendors, who have businesses in town or close by, and who are friendly and helpful, offering many more things than the old one. There is a lack of produce there, but what is there is beautiful and affordable. We got curly kale for $2, and zucchini, eggplant, and yellow squash for $3 each. We recommend these two vendors get cards made so we can review them and bring them more business. There's jewelry, crafts, bath products, masks, beef, soup mix, ice cream, produce (we need more), and freshly baked pizza. And more. We bought a raspberry-chocolate jam at another spot, and tasted it last night--absolutely fresh, home-made and delicious. We will buy some beef next time from Collins Powder Hill Farms, and maybe even go out to the farm in Enfield for other products. These also sell/deliver compost and soil. Wow. We loved Barb Gibson at Super Soups, and had a lovely chat with her about her ingredients. She was researching oils, so we told her to nix Canola and get to know Sustain, the non-GMO sunflower oil. She was friendly, receptive and caring, and that will make us loyal customers. Her 30 minute soup mixes look awesome. Welcome back vendors. We will be there every Sunday till you close September 27, and now that we know you, we will also visit your businesses. Shop local! And thank you to Enfield Town. You did this one right.

"When are you gonna come down? When are you going to land?…read moreI should have stayed on the farm I should have listened to my old man" (Elton John) Bielonko Farms is a cute modestly sized farmstand in scenic Suffield, CT -more or less halfway between Bradley Airport and the Massachusetts border. They sell gorgeous locally farmed produce like corn, tomatoes, squash, peppers, cucumbers and beans. Being close to Halloween, we saw scores of pumpkins of every size and description everywhere. Flowers were also well represented with overflowing flowerpots and baskets bursting with color in every direction. They feature two big signs that will catch your attention. One says, "Thanks to All Vets" and another says, "If You Can't Stop, Smile as you Go By". We were on a mission to pick up some cornstalks to decorate the light pole on the front lawn, and we did take home a nice bundle of stalks for $10. It was brimming with humongous ears of corn, which we detached and tossed into the woods, so as to discourage the bears from loitering by our front door. PRO TIP The website on their Yelp page is a broken link. Apparently, they have replaced their website with a Facebook page, which seems to be an increasingly popular trend among businesses.

My favorite were the sunflowers! We filled our trunk up, I will definitely be back next year for my fall decor.
