On a quick road trip to upstate NY, my friend and I needed to find a coffee shop with Wifi to get some work done, midway. Upon driving around and looking up reviews, we landed on this great coffee shop. Upon entering we were greeted and quickly found a great table with outlets to get set up before we placed our orders. It was a chilly Tuesday morning so we placed an order for a cup of hot chocolate, cup of peppermint tea and some banana bread. All were delicious and served in great large mugs with saucers. They have free Wifi and once afternoon hit, it got really busy, noisy and buzzing with students and people needing an afternoon pick me up. The only bummer is that they do not serve any lunch/food items. Only pastries and both hot and cold beverages. If I'm ever in the area again, I would def stop in. read more

I love this place. I live very close to this coffee shop and overall I love it. The lattes are really good but my favourite is the maple iced matcha latte with oat milk. Normally when ordering a matcha I expect it to not be light green with a little bit of matcha but Circuit does NOT disappoint. The matcha is vibrant green with a very smooth taste. Great little place out in western MA. I travel from RI to Albany somewhat frequently for work. While on the road I'm always on the lookout for some good coffee while driving and this place has definitely made it on my go-to list. Located in a nice town center not too far off the highway, definitely worth the small detour. I've dropped in twice now, once this past winter. I grabbed a hot browned butter latte, a cup of oats, and a coffee cake pastry. The food was great, the coffee cake was huge, and the latte was awesome. Good espresso with a savory filling flavor that you can tell is real. More recently (today) I dropped in on a warm morning and was pleasantly surprised to see espresso tonic on the menu. It's my go-to warm weather espresso drink and when made right it just slaps. Suffice to say, at Circuit Coffee it's made right. Espresso is shaken with ice and blueberry syrup, then tonic is slowly poured over a spoon ensuring you're not handed a flat beverage (the worst). I've really enjoyed both trips here so far, and it's a lot coming from a self-confessed third wave coffee snob. read more

Cute spot- can't go wrong with great fresh coffee/lattes and fresh baked goods. Atmosphere is quaint. Plenty of seating. Only down fall for not 5 stars it was not as clean as I expected. It's not bad but the floors could be swept more and maybe mopped to clean up during snowfalls. The kind women at the register was soft spoken. I was hoping to have a larger size latte- and I didn't understand if I could. Also for a 12oz it was almost $7. Creative cute names for coffees but I wish she could have been more clear and the price a tiny bit lower. But I understand the increase in costs as well. I left a a good tip too. I've tried coming on multiple occasions but the drinks are just not drinkable to me. I usually judge a place based on their latte without anything added and that can tell you a lot about a place. I love the concept of Circuit Coffee. Their coffee is actually quite delicious for a start up company. They only have one size, and if you want some specialty mix to your drink, it is a little pricey for the size you get. That being said, the inside atmosphere is a little more comfy than Starbucks if you're looking for a nice place to sit. You're right on the green which makes it really nice to go to the bookstore or the library and come back with something to read. There's a little area to sit outside, which none of these other coffee places have which is nice if you have a dog, like I do. You will always see people walking by or going in and checking out the menu. I think the only reason why people don't go in and order is because they don't have a bigger selection of other types of drinks at this time, and they don't have anything to serve for food but toast or a couple of other expensive baked goods. I had a small cinnamon roll for ap. five dollars, which was tasty, but I wouldn't have spent that normally except to support this business. As for support, this business was recently started by some college kids with a dream, and it is so far a very good start. This building had been empty for quite some time, so it is nice to see this space used again. I hope to see a few more food selections in the future, and will continue to support this delicious coffee shop. P.s., my dog loves the toast. read more

I was visiting from Boston (took a short day trip out) and specifically sought this place out after seeing reviews on yelp. The cafe is absolutely cutesies and the owners are great (congrats on baby barista!). I was thrilled to find they carried oat milk - tried their maple oat milk latte and it was perfect. Seating is spacious! Got a lot of work done. I also really appreciated that they were doing a "Christmas in July" theme - loved their Christmas playlist and subtle Christmas decorations! To really note: I had the pleasure of sitting for 5 hours straight and noticed how Ted, the owner, greeted everyone as they walked in. He knew them by name. Love love love. Well, I have to admit that Circuit not only met my standards but EXCEEDED them! This place set a new bar in my mind when it comes to a local coffee shop. Where do I start? Let's start with ambience. This place has the type of look and feel that immediately makes you want to say "I think I'll stay here to drink my coffee". The windows, the succulents, the furniture, the colors, the overall design, everything has a unique way of coming together and making it stand in a league of its own. Some how Circuit has managed to set itself apart, despite the plethora of already existing "rustic" and "vintage" coffee shops. Lastly, the drinks themselves were reason alone to come back for. My wife had the Coconut Lemonade. Yup, you read that correctly....Coconut AND Lemonade! Why have I never had this before ⁉How creativeThe small mocha I had was beautifully served in a mason jar and the taste of it was one of my biggest surprises of the day. There's plenty of seating, and my girlfriend and I sat outside on the patio which overlooks Westfield's town green. Super pleasant and calming atmosphere. I got the Nitro Cold Brew (only $3.75!) and it was crisp and refreshing, with notes of roasted walnut, caramelized sugar, and vanilla bean. My girlfriend got the Rosemary Lavender latte, and while it was a little expensive at $5.25, it more than made up for it in flavor. My goodness was it delicious, and who knew those two flavors complimented each other so well?! Circuit Coffee pays tribute to Westfield's rich history in many ways - for example, right above the coffee bar on the wall rests an authentic Westfield-made Columbia bicycle manufactured in the 1950's (Columbia Bicycle opened up a manufacturing plant in Westfield in 1934, stimulating Westfield's economy after The Great Depression.) Also, Circuit Coffee's coffee bar is made from hardwood salvaged from the locally-famous Romani family Candlepin Lanes that once stood around the corner on Church Street. I grew up going to that bowling alley as a kid (had my 2nd grade birthday party there), and while it's tragic that it's no longer standing, I'm happy that it's living on in some form. Owners Ted and Jessica Dobek were working at Circuit when we visited and they are both class-acts. Ted introduced himself, let me film and take pictures, and he told me more about his business and how they are integrating themselves into the community. Plus, Ted was grinning ear-to-ear at the site of a new bike rack that was being installed the morning of our visit. I can't recommend this place enough.
