What a beautiful welcoming space! Absolutely loved my coffee ( I'm a coffee snob) the service was great and the gal who took our order was sweet and even chatted about the local universities in town! Absolutely wished we had a place like this back home in Cali! Keep up the amazing work!

As I sit here at Monsoon for the third time this week I'm surprised I haven't written them a Yelp review. I've been enjoying their coffee for years. I first found them (and met Tim) at the Forest Park Farmers Market. I instantly liked Tim (he's very likable) and lived his coffee They offer a great variety of sustainable and environmentally conscious products to suit the taste of all coffee lovers. Every morning they have bagels and pastry from select local sources like Nosh, Auntie Cathie's Kitchen, and Comfort Bagel. The staff is always super friendly and upbeat (because they have an awesome job/bosses). Monsoon frequently engages the local art community with workshops, craft fairs, and festivals. When I know I won't be able to get here in person I bring home a couple of cans of their nitro cold brew which can lay me up to a week. If you love great coffee and great people this is your spot.

Tucked waaayyyy off the beaten path, this is a great little find. Roastery is in the title for a reason... There is little room to sit and talk or relax like most coffee shops. I wasn't looking for that however, I frequent enough coffee shops to know alot of people do. There were some seats but not many. This is set up to come in, get some great coffee and go. I am a cold brew snob and I will say, this is about as good as it gets. Service is equally stellar.

Absolutely amazing. My partner and I drive 45 min to come visit and try this place. Worth every second. Service, ambiance and coffee was on point.

If you want quality coffee in a great atmosphere then look no further than Monsoon Roastery. With an amazing variety of coffee selections and plenty of charm, you'll be happy you stopped in. The staff is always super friendly and go out of their way to make sure every customer walks away happy. The owners Tim & Andrea pour their heart into this place and it's evident in the community and culture that's been cultivated at Monsoon. Be sure to follow them on social media also as they frequently host events and coffee 'how-tos'

Great coffee spot. Drinks to go and their fresh roasted beans are very good. Recommend Organic Panic and Liquid Sunshine.

Ask the Community - Monsoon Roastery

Do you have plant based mills? And can I have my coffee in a ceramic or glass cup instead of paper?

Hi Tina, Thank you for reaching out with your questions! I might be wrong here, but did you mean to ask if we have plant based milks? If so, we use gluten free oat milk and macadamia nut milk for dairy alternatives!… Read more

They are located in what appears to be a little house. There's parking in the front for around four vehicles, on my way out I realized they have a substantial parking lot in the rear. The inside is super cute with hardwood floors, wooden furniture and comfy seating. It's not super spacious, but comfortable for a date or a solo adventure. At Radial they roast their own coffee beans. They had some pastries, but not many, probably because it was after 2:00 o'clock. For my coffee I got the Honey Maple Latte. The barista said I could take a seat, she would bring it to me. Well, it's a good thing she brought it over, because I would have spilled it. The presentation was lovely. It came in a navy ceramic cup with a saucer, with a design on top. This was one of the smoothest and creamiest coffees I've had in a while. From the texture of the latte its self, to the flavor, it is very smooth, in a way lux. The flavor was there but in a very organic way, nothing is too sugary. This was a very pleasant experience at Radial.

I stopped by to get a couple of coffees to go, and a pastry. The staff was very patient and pleasant to chat with - something I really miss with the larger coffee chains. The coffees were made exactly as I requested, and the pastry was warmed up and wrapped in a foil to maintain the heat. I really love the attention to detail. I'll note that I noticed they use Monin brand syrups (my favorite!). They are not the cheapest option, so it goes to show that the folks at Acoustic Java care about quality over maximizing profit. The location is great - a bit hidden, but the industrial vibe just fits for a small roasting company. I love that the roastery is visible through the glass panels. The packaged beans are all laid out for you to easily read the labels and shop. I love that they carry quality tea for non-coffee drinkers/tea lovers. The merch is also cute, I was very tempted to add yet another coffee shop tote bag to my hoard. They carry a huge variety of used and new books - and they offer the most unique pricing I've ever seen. You can look up the cost of the book online - so long as the condition is roughly the same, that's how much they will charge you for the book (+ tax)! That's amazing, and I don't know how they can possibly even make money with this policy, but with the giant chain and online retailers, it's really the best incentive to get folks to support local. I think one of the biggest highlights here, on top of the great coffee, ambiance, and service, is that they offer various tastings, classes, and live music events. Personally, I feel like this is key in building a community, and I love that they do this. You can look up the different events on their website, some of which are free to attend. I can definitely see this as a place to come read a book over some tea, catch up with a friend over coffee, or take a date to a barista class for a unique experience.

Their coffee remains consistent and they brew the best bean in town. Truly a hidden gem...literally. They're hidden in the back of Rotmans (old furniture store) and you'll never see it from the main road. I drink coffee on a regular basis and could probably consider myself an amateur coffee snob lol. Lately I have made a purchase for teas and my wife didn't like the selections I've chose so they were welcoming and honored an exchange. I just had to pay the difference which I was glad to. We had good company with us and so there's also ample seating in the next room--you can enter from the front of the building as you enter through the main entrance or go through the back. Cheers
